John J. Casamento Jr.,
a resident of Olympia, Wash., died Monday, July 31, 2000 at American Lake Veteran's Hospital in Lakewood, Wash. He was 64.
He died of cancer, according to his family.
Born March 1, 1936, in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of John C. and Grace Midola Casamento.
He attended St. Basil's Preparatory School in Stamford and then served in the Army from 1955 to 1958, when he was discharged as a specialist fifth class. He worked in the printing business until his retirement.
Mr. Casamento enjoyed traveling, softball, bowling and dancing.
He is survived by a son, John G. Casamento of North Haven; three daughters, Joy E. Casamento-Walker of Olympia, Wash., Lee M. O'Leary of Meriden, and Jean M. Jensen of Wallingford; a sister, Cathy Biase of Greenwich; five grandchildren, two nieces, and one nephew.
There will be no calling hours.
Entombment will be private.
American Burial and Cremation of Olympia, Wash., is handling the arrangements.
Agustin Crespo Jr.,
a longtime Stamford resident, died Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2000 at Norwalk Hospital. He was 46.
He died of a heart attack, according to his family.
Born Jan. 17, 1954, in Isabela, Puerto Rico, he was a son of Maria Diosa Pellot of Puerto Rico and the late Agustin Crespo.
Mr. Crespo was a truck driver with City Carting Co. He was a member of St. John's Church in Stamford.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Wanda Crespo of Stamford; two sons, Agustin Crespo III and Adrian Lee Crespo, both of Stamford; a daughter, Theresa Lee Crespo of Stamford; two brothers, Wilber Crespo of Puerto Rico and Jose Crespo of Queens, N.Y.; and a sister, Carmen Ramos of Boston.
Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 13, 2000 at Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 2900 Summer St., Stamford.
A service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 14, 2000 at St. John's Church, 279 Atlantic St.
Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery.
Doris B. Muzia,
a Stamford resident, died Thursday, Aug. 10, 2000 at Stamford Hospital. She was 79.
She died of natural causes, according to her family.
Born March 18, 1921, in England, she was a daughter of the late Ethel Anne and James Evens Belcher.
Mrs. Muzia was a homemaker.
She is survived by her son, Raymond D. Muzia of Newport News, Va.; and two grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond J. Muzia.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 13, 2000 at Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 2900 Summer St., Stamford.
A graveside service will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 14, 2000 at Fairfield Memorial Park Cemetery
in Stamford.

James Thomas "Moose" Mosley III,
a Norwalk resident, died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2000 at Norwalk Hospital. He was 58.
He died of pneumonia, according to his family.
Born May 17, 1942, in Cape Charles, Va., he was a son of the late James T. Mosley Jr. and Daisy Wyatt Mosley.
Mr. Mosley was a truck driver with Winnick Construction. He also worked as a truck driver for more than 30 years with Vitti Construction.
He is survived by his companion of 25 years, Deborah Keddrell of Stamford; three sons, Lance L. Morton of Bridgeport, Mark Davis of Raleigh, N.C., and Jonathan Mosley of Anderson, S.C.; two daughters, Nadine Jones and Sylvia Newton, both of Bridgeport; a brother, John R. Mosley of Alcolu, S.C.; two sisters, Cleopatra Stevens and Daisy Nadine Ham, both of Norwalk; and 17 grandchildren.
Calling hours will be 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, 2000 at First Baptist Church, 1301 Stratford Ave., Stratford.
A funeral service will follow. The Rev. William B. Sutton III will officiate.
Burial will follow in Maple Grove Memorial Park Cemetery
in Easton.
Morton's Mortuary Inc. of Bridgeport is handling arrangements.
Rocco J. Martello,
a lifelong Port Chester, N.Y., resident, died Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2000 at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. He was 67.
He died of a complications from a heart condition, according to his family.
Born Jan. 5, 1933, in Port Chester, he was a son of the late Antonio and Immaculata Mary Barbera Martello.
Mr. Martello served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
He worked at General Foods Corp. in White Plains, N.Y., before retiring. He also owned Depot Barbershop in Port Chester.
He is survived by a son, Anthony Martello of White Plains; three daughters, Roxanne Lacerra, Diane Polizzi and Nina Pescara, all of White Plains; a brother, Anthony Martello of Greenwich; two sisters, Antoinette Tynan of Greenwich and Jacqueline Brown of Rye Brook, N.Y.; and four grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his former wife, Angelina Martello.
Calling hours will be 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 13, 2000 at Craft Memorial Home, 40 Leicester St., Port Chester.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 14, 2000 at Our Lady of Mercy Church, Westchester Avenue, Port Chester.
Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery
in Greenwich.

Sherwood D. Poole of Bethel,
a former Darien resident, died Thursday, Aug. 10, 2000 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He was 69.
He died of complications from surgery, according to his family.
Born Sept. 1, 1930, in New Canaan, he was a son of the late Delbert and Mildred Brooks Stearns Poole.
Mr. Poole served in the 43rd Infantry Division of the U.S. Army from 1947 to 1952. The division was stationed in Germany.
He worked at Norco Inc. in Georgetown. He was a member of AARP in Bethel. He enjoyed working with ceramics at the Bethel Senior Center and building model airplanes and boats.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Marie Howe Poole of Bethel; a son, John S. Poole of Danbury; a sister, Marion Greene of New Hampshire; and a brother, Albert Poole of New Port Richey, Fla.
He was predeceased by a son, Ronald E. Poole.
Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. today, Aug. 11, 2000 at Bethel Funeral Home, 215 Greenwood Ave., Bethel.
A service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, 2000 at the funeral home.

Teresa Spoto,
a Stamford resident, died Saturday, Aug. 5, 2000 at Atria Town Center in Stamford. She was 91.
She died of natural causes, according to her family.
Mrs. Spoto was born Oct. 5, 1908, in Rome.
She was a homemaker. She volunteered at the pharmacy department of the former St. Joseph Medical Center in Stamford and at the Rehabilitation Center in Stamford.
She is survived by a son.
She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Spoto Sr.
Services were private.
