Antoinette Beaulieu
Antoinette (Nadeau) Beaulieu, 80, died Aug. 5, 2004, at a New Britain hospital after a brief illness.
She was the wife of the late Lawrence L. Beaulieu.
She was born Dec. 2, 1923, at Fort Kent, Maine, the daughter of David and Zoe (Belanger) Nadeau.
She attended Fort Kent schools.
She was a communicant of St. Denis Catholic Church, Fort Fairfield.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Jacqueline and Ronaldo Harvey of Plainville; two grandchildren, Lawrence Harvey of Bristol and Leatha Toner and her husband, Kevin, of Plainville; five great-grandchildren, Raelene and Nicholas Harvey of Bristol; Christina Harvey, Rebecca and Amada Toner, all from Plainville; one great-great grandchild, Olivia Guatarama of Bristol; five brothers and four sisters-in-law, Gerard Nadeau of Waterville, Maine; Norman and Theresa Nadeau of Sidney, Maine; Docite and Beverly Nadeau of Vassalboro, Maine; Noel and Arlene Nadeau of Fairfield; Paul and Theresa Nadeau of Bradenton, Fla.; five sisters and four brothers-in-law, Priscilla and Rosaire Daigle of Daigle, Maine; Anita and Joseph Wakelee of Fairfield, Maine; Alice and Joseph Simbitsky of Kensington; Jeannine and Fernado Harvey of Melbourne, Fla.; Juliette Rajotte of Bristol; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by three brothers and five sisters.
A mass of Christian burial was held Aug. 10 at St. Denis Catholic Church, Fort Fairfield, Maine.
Burial was in St. Denis Catholic Cemetery.
The Dorsey Funeral Home, Fort Fairfield, Maine, was in charge of arrangements.

John Crago
John A. Crago, 63, of Forestville and formerly of South Windsor, died Aug. 7, 2004, at home.
He was born April 10, 1941, in Niagara Falls, N.Y., son of William Crago of Arizona and the late Philomena (Pantona) Lewis.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served in the Special Forces.
He was the owner and president of Executive Press Inc. in Plainville for more than 20 years.
Besides his father, he is also survived by his son, Robert W. Crago of Forestville and his former wife, Dawn Dallas of East Windsor.
He was predeceased by a brother, William "Billy" Crago.
A mass was held Aug. 12 at St. Matthew Church, Forestville.

Elsie Geary
Elsie (Fischer) Geary, 93, of the Weatogue section of Simsbury, died Aug. 4, 2004, at Plainville Health Care Center.
She was the wife of the late Thomas John Geary.
She was born May 10, 1911, in Hartford, daughter of the late William and Dora (Seltenreich) Fischer, and had lived in Canton before moving to Weatogue 38 years ago.
Mrs. Geary was employed as a private secretary at Connecticut Natural Gas for 29 years before her retirement in 1976.
She was a member of St. Mary's Church in Simsbury.
She is survived by three nieces, Jean Weller and Helen Dardis, both of Southington, and Rae E. Frank Miller of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada; four grandnieces and grandnephews; and seven great-grand nieces and great-grandnephews. Her sister, Helen Fischer, died Aug. 1.
The funeral was held Aug. 7 from the Vincent Funeral Home, Simsbury, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Mary's Church, Simsbury.
Burial was in Simsbury Cemetery.

Jennie D. Hardy
Jennie D. Hardy, 85, of Bristol, formerly of New Britain, died Aug. 3, 2004.
She attended St. Matthew Church.
She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law; Robert and Jane of West Hartford, Raymond and Diann of Catskill, N.Y., and John and Debbie of Plainville; her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Mark Plocher of Bristol; one sister, Sophie Centurelli of New Britain; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her twins, Michael and Marcia.
The funeral was held Aug. 7 at Bailey Funeral Home, Plainville, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Matthew Church, Bristol.
Burial was in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain.
Alma Mangiafico
Alma ( Day) Mangiafico, 76, died July 28, 2004, at the Plainville Healthcare Center.
She was the wife of Rocco Mangiafico.
She was born in Granby on March 14, 1928, and was the daughter of the late George and Mary Day.
Before her retirement she had been employed by the State Police Department.
Services and burial will be at the convenience of the family.

Milton Martin
Milton J. "Mel" Martin, 70, of Bristol, died Aug. 6, 2004, at Bristol Hospital.
He was born Nov. 20, 1933, in Stockholm, Maine, a son of the late Victor Sr. and Sadic (Chamberlain) Martin.
He resided in Plainville and Southington before moving to Bristol nine years ago, and was employed at Walker Crane and Rigging before his retirement.
He was a member of the French Model Club and St. Jean D'Baptist Society.
He is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Ronny and Sharla Martin of Bristol, Danny Martin of Plainville, and Bryan and France Martin of Terryville; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Roland and Marianne Martin of Burbank, Calif., Victor Jr. and Elenor Martin of Newington, Clinton and Leona Martin of Plainville, and Ronald Martin of Caribou, Maine; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Reona and Arnold porter of Pattern, Maine, Viola Caron of Fort Kent, Maine, and Arlene Martin of Bristol; five grandchildren, Ashley, Amanda, Jordan, Taylor and Austin Martin; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by two brothers and a sister.
The funeral was held Aug. 11 at Funk Funeral Home, Bristol, to St. Ann Church.
Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.

Robert Ruddock
Robert Edgar Ruddock Sr. 95, died July 15, 2004, in Holyoke, Mass.
He was the husband of the late Anna (Windblad) Ruddock
He was a longtime resident of Plainville.
He was a World War II veteran and retiree of the Stanley Works.
He served many years as a Boy Scout leader and was a member of the Plainville United Methodist Church and the Plainville Senior Citizen Center.
He is survived by a son, Robert Ruddock Jr. of Seymour; a daughter, Judith Campbell of South Hadley, Mass.; and three grandchildren, Sarah and Megan Campbell of Massachusetts and Nancy Ruddock of Australia.
Kenneth Harrison
Kenneth A. Harrison, 48, of Plainville, died Oct. 3, 2004.
He was the husband of Janet (Martin) Harrison.
He was born Sept. 27, 1956, in Baltimore, Md., a son of Maurice "Ed" Harrison Sr. and the late Evelyn (Humphrey) Harrison.
He was employed with the Hartford Post Office before retiring three years ago.
One of his great passions was umpiring baseball.
He was a 30-year member of the Connecticut Board of Approved Baseball Umpiring and was the baseball commissioner.
He was also involved with International Association of Approved Basketball Officials, Central Connecticut Board Chapter 6.
He was director of the Plainville Park and Recreation Youth Basketball League for 10 years.
He also was a member of the Plainville Athletic Backers Association and was heavily involved with Central Connecticut 10 Pin Bowling League, Sunday Night Mix League and assistant to the Laurel Girls League as well as many other leagues at Laurel Lanes.
He was a lifetime member of the New Britain Quartette Club.
Besides his wife of 24 years, he is survived by a daughter, Amber-Lynn Harrison of Plainville; his father and stepmother, Maurice and Sharon Harrison of Virginia; three brothers, Maurice E. Harrison of Michigan; Robert Harrison and his wife, Alane, of Bristol, and Donald and Michelle Harrison of New Britain; and his sister, Gail, and her husband, Michel Regnier, of Enfield.
He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews, Robert Harrison Jr. and Kyle Harrison of Bristol, Tyler Harrison of New Britain, Rachel Regnier of Florida, Richard Regnier and Joshua Lang Regnier of Enfield, Lisa-Marie Platt of Enfield and Nicole Pac of Berlin.
Besides his mother, he was predeceased by his sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Gil Lang.
The funeral was scheduled today, Oct. 7, at 9 a.m. at Bailey Funeral Home, Plainville, followed by a Mass at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Church.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
David Kuzmech
David J. Kuzmech, 67, of Newington, died Sept. 30, 2004.
He was the husband of Marlene A. Colella.
Born in Patchogue, Long Island, N.Y., he was the son of the late Joseph and Edith (Morse) Kuzmech.
He was a former New Britain and Plainville resident before moving to Newington 21 years ago.
He was formerly employed as the financial administrative and control manager of budget development at the state Department of Transportation for 46 years, retiring in 2002.
He was a notary public and a member of Bethany Covenant Church in Berlin.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Robin Alyce Cicerella-Seed and her husband, Gary, of Cromwell, and Tracy Alyce Cicerella-St. Amand and her husband, Bob, of Bristol; a brother and sister-in-law, John and Ruth Kuzmech of Naugatuck; two grandchildren, Bryan Keith Backiel and his wife, Melissa, and Rachel Marlene Hernandez and her husband, Jose; three great-grandchildren, Jonathan Antonio Hernandez, Baylee Keith Backiel and Ava Marie Hernandez; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held Oct. 5 at Bethany Covenant Church, Berlin.
A reception followed at the church.

Donald Ladd
Donald J. Ladd, 81, of Bristol, died Sept. 28, 2004 at Sub-Acute Center.
He was the husband of Winona (Duby) Ladd.
He was born in Cascade, N.H., on June 14, 1923, and was a son of the late Dewey and Dorothy (Hughes) Powers.
He formerly resided in Plainville and Fort Myers, Fla., and had resided in Bristol for the past five years.
A World War II veteran, he served in the U.S. Army Air Force.
He served on Saipan, where he was a top gunner on a B-29 which was the first to bomb Tokyo.
He worked for Connecticut Light and Power for 38 years before retiring.
Besides his wife, with whom he celebrated 62 years of marriage on Sept. 11, he is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Donna Wininger and Russ Wininger Sr. of Bristol; and a son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Marlene Ladd of Fort Myers, Fla.
He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Russ Wininger Jr. and his wife, Michele; Peter Wininger and his wife, Erin; Kathleen Wininger; Laura Brauch and her husband, Alex; Allison Tubbs and her husband, Steven; Ryan Ladd; Elizabeth Sanders and her husband, Dean; six great-grandchildren: Morgan, Luke, Sean, Elise, Erin, and Coleman; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral and burial arrangements were private.

Kenneth Stenner
Kenneth K. Stenner, 73, of Plainville, died Sept. 29, 2004, at New Britain General Hospital.
He was the husband of Joan (Stevens) Stenner for 28 years.
He was born in Farmington on June 8, 1931, the son of the late Walter and Elsie (Griffen) Stenner.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two stepsons, Steve Coleman of Florida and Ed Coleman and his wife, Linda, of Glastonbury; two stepdaughters, Gina Boucher and Diana Coleman, both of Bristol; a brother, Walter Stenner and his wife, Helen, of Florida; four sisters, Gwen Roberts of Burlington, Jean Francini and her husband, Albert, of Burlington, Patrica DeLoy and her husband, Charles, of Burlington, and Gertrude Bird and her husband, Ray, of Naugatuck; and eight step-grandchildren, Jennifer Coleman, Julie Boone, Jeff Coleman, Nicole Boucher, Stephanie Coleman, Tiffany LaBombard, Katie Coleman and Ben Coleman.
The funeral arrangements were private. Bailey Funeral Home was assisting the family.
