Barry A. Beote
June 30, 1948 - July 22, 2004
Barry A. Beote, of Judd Avenue, Bethel, devoted husband of Janet (Bisaillon) Beote, died at his home, on Thursday, July 22nd. He was born in Danbury on June 30, 1948, son of the Arthur and Constance (Mattson) Beote of Georgetown. He was a graduate of Joel Barlow High School, class of 1966.
Mr. Beote was a Veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Vietnam Era, guarding the Berlin Wall. He worked as the Stockroom Manager for Norco in Ridgefield for 38 years. He was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church and the V.F.W. in Georgetown and played for the Danbury Industrial Baseball League. In his younger years he was a member of the Volunteer Fire Department in Georgetown.
Barry recently attended the 15th Annual Camp Nugent Golf Weekend with his dear friends. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
In addition to his parents and wife of 33 years, Barry is survived by his son, Sean Beote of Bethel; his three daughters, Kimberly Morabito and her husband, Patrick of Brookfield, Lisa Beote of Brookfield and Courtney Beote of Bethel; two grandchildren, Kayla Burton-Morabito and Brooke Morabito. He is also survived by his sister, Bonnie Rivoli and her husband, Alfie of Bethel; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Information
Funeral Services will be held at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Georgetown on Monday, July 26th at 11:00am with Pastor Ned J. McMillen officiating. Cremation and interment will take place at the convenience of the family.
The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Sunday, July 25th between the hours of 1 and 3pm.

Irma E. (Underhill) Novicky
September 23, 1910 - July 24, 2004
Irma E. (Underhill) Novicky, formerly of Reynolds Ridge, Bethel, wife of the late Joseph Novicky, died at Danbury Hospital on Saturday, July 24th at the age of 93. She was born in Bethel on September 23, 1910, daughter of the late Alfred and Elizabeth (Brown) Underhill.
Mrs. Novicky worked as a hatter for Newman-Endler Hatting Company in Danbury for 35 years. She enjoyed membership in the Polish American Club in Danbury, playing cards, bingo, and reading. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family and their get-togethers.
She will be sadly missed by her three daughters, Helen Price of Alabama, Barbara Waldo and her husband, Hugh, and Judith Longo, all of Danbury; her two sons, Donald and his wife, Janet of New Fairfield, with whom she made her home, and John “Jack” and his wife, Shirley of Colorado. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren;her sister, Ethel Triplett of Florida; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Novicky was predeceased by her son Joseph E. Novicky, her infant grandson, Keith Thomas Novicky, and her sister, Esther Samaha.

Funeral Services will be held at the Congregational Church of New Fairfield on Wednesday, July 28th at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in Wooster Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Tuesday, July 27th between the hours of 4 and 7 pm.

Joseph C. Alves
May 01, 1953 - November 09, 2003
Joseph C. Alves, formerly of Danbury, went to meet his Lord and Savior on Sunday, November 9th at Yale New Haven Hospital, at the age of 50. He was born in Danbury on May 1, 1953, son of the late Louis and Florence (Beck) Alves,
Joseph was a graduate of Danbury High School, Class of 1972. He worked as a sales representative for Home Depot in Danbury. He attended the Danbury Baptist Church. Joseph’s strong belief in his Savior gave him strength throughout his life. He was very grateful for all the Lord’s blessings - - especially for the gift of a new kidney in the 1980’s. His favorite time spent with the Lord was during his Bible study and Fellowship with other Christians.
Joseph enjoyed time spent with his family and will be sadly missed by his brothers, Ronald Alves of Danbury, and Thomas Alves-Caprio and his wife, Marie, of Bethel; his sisters, Janice Correa and her husband Alex of New Milford, and Donnet Peterson and her husband, Walter, of Danbury. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Thursday, November 13th, 12:00pm, with Reverend David Reinhardt of the Danbury Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury. Friends may call at the Cornell Memorial Home on Wednesday, November 12th between the hours of 5 and 7pm.

Beatrice Rose Henry
August 03, 1913 - July 23, 2004
Beatrice R. (Repasky) Henry, 89, of Vista Drive, Brookfield, wife of the late Edward Henry, died at Danbury Hospital on Friday, July 23rd. She was born in Yonkers, NY., on August 3, 1914, daughter of the late John and Frances (Worth) DeLuccy.
Mrs. Henry was a “Rosie the Riviter” for Grumman Aircraft, retiring after World War II. She then dedicated herself to maintaining the family home and raising her children. She was a former parishioner of St. Joseph Church, Yonkers. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, masterfully creating intricate sweaters.
She will be sadly missed by her son, George J. Repasky, Jr. and his wife, Betty of Brookfield; her grandson George R. Repasky, and granddaughters Kelly and Tracey Schultz; her great grandchildren, April and John Schultz. She was predeceased by her first husband, George J. Repasky,Sr. and a daughter, Marilyn Ann Schultz.
Funeral Information
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, July 31st at 1:00pm at St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Church in Brookfield. Interment of cremains will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Yonkers, at a later date.

Edward P. St. John III
March 07, 1957 - September 18, 2004
Edward P. St.John III, age 47 of Candle Hill Road, New Fairfield, died on September 18, 2004 at Danbury Hospital surrounded by his family. Eddie was born on March 7, 1957 the son of Ann St. John and the late Edward St.John Jr. He graduated from Danbury High School in 1975.
Eddie was self-employed as a General Contractor for the past 25 years. He carried his interest of craftsmanship into his personal life building numerous homes, including one for his sister. He had a great love for both of his cats Percy and CeCe. He loved the beach including the New Jersey Shore. Most of all he was known to everyone as a kind and gentle person who had a great love for his family and friends. He was a wonderful Uncle to his nieces and nephews and was always helpful.
Eddie will be sadly missed by his Mother: Ann R. St. John of Stuart, Florida; his loving companion of nine years Deborah Milazzo of New Fairfield. Three Sisters: Pamela St. John and her husband Laurence Doran of Bethlehem, Barbara and her husband Richard Hardisty of Stuart, Florida and Erin and her husband John Duggan of New York, New York. Five Nieces and Nephews: Taylor Hardisty, Alexis Hardisty, Robert Duggan, Declan Duggan, and Jillian Duggan along with numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends.
In addition to his father Eddie is preceded in death by his Brother Robert St. John and his grandparents.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Edward the Confessor Church in New Fairfield on Wednesday at 10:00am with interment following at Mountain View Cemetery in New Fairfield.
Friends may call the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, CT on Tuesday from 4:00pm – 8:00pm.

Joseph R. Genovese Sr.
June 08, 1922 - September 21, 2004
Joseph R. Genovese, Sr., of Barclay Commons, Danbury, husband of the late Ann Marie (Esposito) Genovese, died at Westchester Medical Center on Tuesday, September 21st. He was born in Staten Island, NY., on June 8, 1922, son of the late Roger and Marie (Catalfamo) Genovese. He made his home in the Danbury community in 1988.
Mr. Genovese was a Veteran of World War II, serving with the United States Navy. He retired from H.C. Boerner Foods, Long Island, in 1988, after 15 years employment. He was a parishioner of St. Gregory the Great Church in Danbury. He was active in the Danbury YMCA and the Americo Vespucci Lodge.
Most importantly, Mr. Genovese was a devoted family man who was affectionately known as “Papa Joe” to his family, and the “Unofficial Mayor of Barclay Commons” to his neighbors.
He will be sadly missed by his son, Joseph R. Genovese, Jr. and his wife, Donna of Scottsdale, AZ.; his daughter, Joan Reuter and her husband, Reinhold of Hawthorne, NY.; four granddaughters, Kristen and her husband, Jon, Michelle, Keri and Suzanne; one grandson, Christopher; and one great grandson, Jonathan Joseph. He is also survived by a sister, Kathleen Giannatasio and her husband, John; two sisters-in-law, Elvira Burrows, and Stella Genovese; and one brother-in-law, Al Esposito; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 24th at 10:00am at St. Gregory the Great Church, Danbury. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY.
The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Thursday, September 23rd between the hours of 2:00 to 4:00pm and 7:00 to 9:00pm.

John Noble Brown
September 12, 1923 - September 21, 2004
John Noble Brown, 81, of Brookfield, CT., formerly of Swift Lane, Chatham, devoted husband of Jane (Hull) Brown, died at The Kent on Tuesday, September 21st. He was born in Boston on September 12, 1923, son of the late Waldo and Frances (Gray) Brown. He attended Milton Academy and graduated from Grosse Pointe High School in Michigan.
Mr. Brown graduated from V-5 Aviator Training Program in Pensacola, Florida. He was a Veteran of World War II, serving with the United States Navy as an Aviator. He was a lifetime member of the Naval Reserve Association.
He was a former member of the Stone Horse Yacht Club in Harwich Port, and The Monomoy Yacht Club in Chatham.
He is survived by wife, Jane (Hull) Brown of Brookfield, CT.; his daughter, Nancy Knorr and her husband Klaus of Brookfield, CT.; his two sisters, Ann MacLure of East Hampton, and Frances Aeschlimann of Washington, CT.; and his two brothers, Paul of Duxbury, and David of Michigan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Harry William Perlman
September 24, 1938 - September 30, 2004
On September 30, 2004, Harry Perlman experienced one of “Life’s Exquisite Jokes” because modern medicine doesn’t always work.
A quirky intellectual with unmeasurable love for his family, Harry believed in doing the right thing in every situation. A vegetarian by choice, because of his true love and respect for animals. He was known as “Harry The Tree” by some of his close friends because of his dedication to the environment. A retro-renaissance man, he will be sorely missed by his Cold Comfort Farm family and by everyone who came in contact with him.
