HELEN B. ROMANSKI
WALLINGFORD — Helen B. Naszczyniec Romanski, 85, formerly of Silver Pond Apartments, Center Street, died Thursday, Aug. 27, 1998, at Veterans Memorial Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Edward Romanski.
Mrs. Romanski was born in Wallingford, July 19, 1913, a daughter of the late Dominic and Anna Naszczyniec, and was a lifelong resident here. She had been employed by the International Silver Co. for many years until her retirement, and was a parishioner of SS. Peter & Paul Church.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, former Wallingford and West Hartford Fire Chief Robert R. Romanski and Betty Romanski of Milford; her grandchildren, Neil Romanski and Karen Romanski; her brothers, Stanley Naszczyniec of North Haven, Edward Naszczyniec of Meriden, and John Naszczyniec of Wallingford; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her two sisters, Mary Novak and Josephine Gryga.
Her family will receive relatives and friends at the Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main St., Ext., Wallingford, Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday at 9 a.m. from the Wallingford Funeral Home when the funeral cortege will proceed to SS. Peter & Paul Church where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery. Gifts in her memory may be sent to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 1155 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield, CT 06109.

LOUIS F. GIANOTTI
WALLINGFORD — Louis F. Gianotti, 79, formerly of 39 Shetland Drive, died Friday, Aug. 28, 1998, at the Jewish Home for the Elderly in Fairfield. He was the husband of Rowena Miller Gianotti.
He was born in Wallingford, Nov. 20, 1918, a son of the late Bartholomew and Theresa Dardano Gianotti.
Until his retirement in 1980, he was in quality control at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army Air Corps and then became a commander in the Coast Guard.
He was a lifelong resident of Wallingford and was a member of the First United Methodist Church, V.F.W. Post 591 and Siedlicki Post 187, American Legion, all of Wallingford.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Bart Gianotti of Meriden; three daughters, Roberta Tardie of Cheshire, Mrs. Thomas (Constance) Falcigno of Madison and Mrs. Thomas (Cynthia) Lopiano of Milford; a brother, Howard Gianotti of Wallingford; a sister, Elsie Cooney of East Haven; and eight grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Frances Ortense.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 941 Old Rock Hill Road, Wallingford, with the Rev. Thomas Beveridge officiating. Burial will be at In Memoriam Cemetery. Friends may call at the B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 S. Elm St., on Sunday evening from 5 to 8 p.m.

ELIZABETH LANOUETTE
GALES FERRY — Elizabeth B. Lanouette, 84, of 39 Overlook Road, Gales Ferry, wife of the late John A. Lanouette, died Thursday evening, Aug. 27, 1998, at Mariner Health at Pendleton.
Born in Meriden on July 24, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Isadore and Serefina (Bulka) Butcka and had resided in Meriden until moving to Gales Ferry over 40 years ago. Mrs. Lanouette was a graduate of Meriden High School, Class of 1933 and was employed by the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in New London until her retirement. She was a member of the SS. Peter and Paul Orthodox Church in Meriden.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Andrew Tubbs of Salem; two grandsons, James Ewan of East Hartford, and Jeffrey A. Tubbs of Salem; a granddaughter, April Lynn Tubbs of Salem; and a sister, Phyllis Lukashevich of Killingworth; and by several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held on Monday at 9:15 a.m. from the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 E. Main St., Meriden, and at 10 a.m. in SS. Peter and Paul Orthodox Church, Meriden. Burial will be in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m.

EDWARD E. PUGSLEY
HARTFORD — Edward E. Pugsley, 67, of Hartford, beloved husband of Beatrice (Mozdziak) Pugsley, died Thursday, Aug. 27, 1998.
He was born in Hartford, son of the late Everett and Mary (Lottie) Pugsley and was a lifelong resident. Mr. Pugsley was employed as a printer at CIGNA Insurance Co. until his retirement. Mr. Pugsley served as a member of the Connecticut National Guard before enlisting in the U.S. Navy, where he honorably served during the Korean War. He was communicant of St. Luke's Church, a member of BPOE 2063, East Hartford, and was a member of AARP. He had the distinction of being a Five Gallon Blood Donor for The American Red Cross.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Peter E. Pugsley of Hartford.
The funeral will be Monday, Aug. 31, 1998, 9:15 a.m. from The Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Turnpike, Wethersfield, followed by a Mass of Christian burial, 10 a.m. in St. Luke's Church, 66 Bolton St., Hartford. Entombment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. Friends may call at Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. Contributions in his memory may be made to: Alzheimer's Association, 790 Maple Ave., Hartford, CT 06114-2317.

ANNIE SCOZZARI
MERIDEN — Annie Elizabeth (Potvin) Scozzari, 71, of 78 Fowler Ave., wife of the late Fred Scozzari, died suddenly on Thursday, Aug. 27, 1998, at Yale-New Haven Hospital.
Born on Aug. 20, 1927, in Island Falls, Maine, she had been a resident of Meriden for most of her life. Mrs. Scozzari was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church and a member of the Meriden Senior Center. Known by her many friends as Nana, she had a strong zest for life, and left this world a fighter and a winner. She will be sadly missed in the north end of town.
Mrs. Scozzari is survived by a daughter, Julie Scozzari; three sons, Frederick Scozzari, Michael Scozzari and Joseph Scozzari, all of Meriden; 15 grandchildren, including her very special grandson, Joey; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Richard and Joseph Potvin of Wallingford; a son-in-law, Paul Fox; three daughters-in-law, Doreen and Janet Scozzari, and Barbara Ballough; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by an infant daughter, Bonnie May, and by another daughter, Rosemary Scozzari Breglia, and by a son, David William Scozzari.
The funeral will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 E. Main St., with the Rev. David Borino officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday morning from 9:30 to 11 a.m. prior to the service.

LOUIS PERONE
WALLINGFORD — Louis Perone, 79, of New Rock Hill Road, died unexpectedly Saturday, Aug. 29, 1998, at Veterans Memorial Medical Center. He was the beloved husband of Marie Marino Perone.
Mr. Perone was born in Calvisi, Italy, a son of the late Agapito and Rosaria Riccitelli Perone, and was a lifelong resident of Wallingford. He had been employed at the Stanley Judd Co. in Wallingford for many years until his retirement and had previously been employed by the International Silver Co. He was a U.S. Army Air Force veteran of World War II, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Major Raoul Lufbery Post No. 591, and was a parishioner of Most Holy Trinity Church.
Besides his devoted wife, Marie, he is survived by his beloved family; his daughter and son-in-law, Rosemary and Edmund J. Barbieri Sr. and his son and daughter-in-law, Louis J. and Sharon R. Perone Sr., all of Wallingford; his four grandchildren, Edmund J. Barbieri Jr., Michael Barbieri, Louis J. Perone Jr. and Gina Marie Perone; his three brothers and sisters-in-law, Anthony Perone of Boca Raton, Fla., Arthur and Marie Perone of Wallingford, Ralph and Norma Perone of Easton, Pa., and Isabelle Perone of Fort Pierce, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Frank Perone.
His family will receive relatives and friends at the Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main St. Ext., Wallingford, Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. from the Wallingford Funeral Home, when the funeral cortege will proceed to Most Holy Trinity Church, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment, with military honors, will be in St. John Cemetery. Gifts in his memory may be sent to the Veterans of Foreign Wars, 23 Prince St., Wallingford, CT 06492, or to the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 950 Campbell Ave., West Haven, CT 06516.

FLORENCE M. VOSGIEN
MERIDEN — Florence M. Vosgien, 89, of 76 Butler St., wife of the late Lucien J. Vosgien, died Saturday, Aug. 29, 1998, at the Veterans Memorial Medical Center, West Campus.
Born in Meriden, Nov. 25, 1908, she was the daughter of the late Wallace and Julia Moreau Miramant and had resided in Meriden all her life. Mrs. Vosgien was a graduate of the Meriden schools and had been employed at the Curtis Home until her retirement. She was a parishioner of St. Laurent Church and a member of the St. Ann Society of that parish.
She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Jean and Ray Burdette, formerly of Meriden, Carole and Henry Stevens of Nashua, N.H., Kathy and Larry Cirillo of Meriden; three sons and daughters-in-law, Don and Evelyn Vosgien of Northford, Jimmy Sr. and Bobbie Vosgien of Meriden, and David and Marcia Vosgien of Southington; 21 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Violet Stacey; three brothers, Wallace Lawrence and Bernard Miramant; an infant twin daughter, Lois Jean Vosgien; a granddaughter; and three grandsons.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. from the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 E. Main St. and at 10 a.m. at St. Laurent Church. Burial will be in St. Laurent Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 4 to 8 p.m.

Bryan E. Gerosa
SOUTHINGTON — Bryan E. Gerosa, 32, of Harvest Lane, formerly of Wallingford, died Thursday, July 2, 1998, in Hattiesburg, Miss., as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
Born in Meriden, Feb. 9, 1966, he was the son of Margaret Ennever and Edward V. Gerosa, both of Wallingford, and was a Wallingford resident for 25 years until moving to Southington. He was a graduate of Most Holy Trinity School and Lyman Hall High School and was employed by the State of Connecticut as a correctional officer at the Cheshire Correctional Facility for four years. He was a member of Blue Knights, Connecticut Chapter.
Besides his parents, he is survived by a son, Raymond Gerosa of West Haven; a sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Paul Wade; his maternal grandmother, Eileen Zeender; his paternal grandmother, Etta Gerosa, all of Wallingford; his fiancιe, Sharon Barthelette of Southington; his stepmother, Camille Gerosa of Wallingford; three stepbrothers, Robert Canny of Prospect, Richard Canny of Los Angeles, Calif., and David Canny of Cheshire; three uncles, Peter Gerosa of Farmington Hills, Mich., Timothy Ennever of Newington and William Ennever of Middlefield; a niece, Emily Wade; and several cousins.
His family will receive relatives and friends at the Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main St. Ext., Wallingford, Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. from the Wallingford Funeral Home, when the funeral cortege will proceed to Most Holy Trinity Church for a Mass of Christian burial at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery in Wallingford. In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory may be sent to the ACES Parent Association, c/o Sharon McLean, 6 Partridge Run, Wallingford, CT 06492.
