Cynthia M. Reilly
MERIDEN — Cynthia M. Reilly, 46, of 88 Bronson Ave., died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 1998, at her home following a short battle with cancer.
She was born Nov. 18, 1951, in Meriden and was the daughter of Joseph and Evelyn (Trawicki) Reilly of Meriden. Ms. Reilly was a lifelong resident of Meriden and was educated in St. Stanislaus School, Orville H. Platt High School and the Morse School of Business. She was employed by the Veterans Memorial Medical Center, West Campus, in the Medical Records Department.
Besides her parents, she leaves a sister and brother-in-law, Kathleen and Steven Mason of Meriden, and a brother and sister-in-law, Allen and Patty Reilly of Meriden; two nephews, Michael and Gregory Reilly; also numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Her funeral will be held Friday, Oct. 23, 1998, at 9:15 a.m. from the Stempien Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., Meriden, followed by a Mass of Christian burial in St. Stanislaus Church at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations in Cynthia's name may be made to the Visiting Nurses Association, 658 Broad St., Meriden, CT 06450.
Laraine O. Cuomo
WALLINGFORD — Laraine O. (Penny) Cuomo, 60, of 24 Jenna Road, died Wednesday, Oct. 21, at the Yale-New Haven Hospital. She was the wife of Ralph O. Cuomo Sr.
She was born in West Haven, Sept. 9, 1938, a daughter of Alice Bamford Wetmore of Wallingford and the late LeRoy Wetmore.
She was employed at Garrity Industries in Madison and was a Wallingford resident for 25 years and a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Wallingford.
In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by a son, Ralph O. Cuomo Jr. of Westford, Vt.; a daughter, Anna M. Cuomo of Wallingford; four sisters, Lauretta Sawallich, Lenora Amero and Leona Gordon, all of Wallingford, and Laura Moran of Meriden; and two grandchildren, Isaiah Cuomo and Jeremiah Cuomo.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 65 N. Main St., Wallingford. Burial will be at In Memoriam Cemetery, Wallingford.
Friends may call at the B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 S. Elm St., on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m.

Enes Ferrarino
WALLINGFORD — Enes Ferrarino, 90, of Marc Drive, Wallingford, formerly of Kensington, died Wednesday, Oct. 21, 1998, at Skyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Miss Ferrarino was born in Berlin, Dec. 26, 1907, a daughter of the late Caesar and Prosperina Vallegia Ferrarino. She had been a lifelong resident of Kensington. She had been an assistant supervisor at the former G.E. Prentice Manufacturing Co. in Kensington for many years until her retirement, and was a parishioner of St. Paul Church.
She is survived by her sister, Edith F. (Mrs. Dominic) DeBaise of Wallingford; her sister-in-law, Henrietta (Mrs. Mario) Ferrarino of Kensington; her beloved nieces and nephews, Marvin and Jean Capazuto DeBaise of South Windsor, and Carol and Steven Bransfield of Kensington; her grandnephews and grandnieces, Marcus DeBaise and Deneen DeBaise, and Shawn, Ryan, Christopher, and Gregory Bransfield; and several cousins. She was predeceased by two sisters, Elsie Ferrarino and Jennie Allen, and two brothers, Fred Ferrarino and Mario Ferrarino.
Her family will receive relatives and friends at the Berlin Memorial Funeral Home, 96 Main St., Kensington, Friday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., when the funeral cortege will proceed to St. Paul Church, Kensington, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment will be in the family plot in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory may be sent to St. Paul Church, 485 Alling St., Kensington, CT 06037.
William Keith
SOUTHINGTON — William Keith, 40, of 273 Queen St., died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 1998, at MidState Medical Center in Meriden. He was the husband of Debbie Paradis-Keith.
Born May 13, 1958, in Waterbury, he was the son of Margaret (Wiggins) Keith and the late Arnold Keith. He had been a self-employed woodworker. Mr. Keith was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Panama Conflict.
Besides his wife and mother he is survived by two brothers, Arnold Keith of Bristol and Fred Keith of Wolcott; six sisters, Patricia Fitzgerald of Cape Cod, Mass., Maureen Esposito of Amherst, Mass., Sharon Pomposi of Plantsville, Rosemary Nass of Colchester, Margie Keith of Southington and Elizabeth Keith of New Britain; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held Friday at 9:15 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., to St. Aloysius Church at 10 a.m. Burial will be at St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m.
Mazie Lyman
DOWLING PARK, Fla. — Mazie Simmons Lyman, 87, died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 1998, in the Good Samaritan Center in Dowling Park.
She was born in Wallingford, Conn., and had lived in Port Charlotte, Fla. before moving to Dowling Park in 1994. She attended school in Wallingford and graduated from Lyman Hall High School. She attended Meriden Hospital School of Nursing and graduated as a registered nurse. She was the school nurse at Lyman Hall High School and in the Wallingford school system for many years. She was a longtime member of the Wallingford Advent Christian Church and was a deaconess. She raised herbs and enjoyed mixing them for various blends which she sold in specialty shops. She was fond of cake baking and decorating and made many party cakes. She also lived in Northfield for a time.
She is survived by two daughters, Judith Willard of Dowling Park and Rita (Mrs. John) Roberson of Walkersville, Md.; seven grandsons; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday in the Bixler Memorial Chapel in Dowling Park. Beggs Funeral Home, Madison Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
Willie E. Moore Jr.
TUCSON, Ariz. — Willie Edward Moore Jr., 36, died Sept. 5, 1998, after battling cancer for the past year. He was the beloved husband of Sherry Moore.
Born Dec. 5, 1961, he was a longtime resident of Meriden before moving to Arizona.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his parents; two stepchildren; two brothers; four sisters; several nieces, nephews and cousins and many friends.
Funeral services were held in Arizona.
James A. Orozco
WALLINGFORD — James A. Orozco, 30, of 296 N. Colony St., died Tuesday at the MidState Medical Center.
He was born in Meriden, March 1, 1968, a son of Raul A. Orozco of North Palm Beach, Fla. and Leonor T. Segovia Orozco of Wallingford.
He had worked in the direct care field for years. He was a communicant of the Most Holy Trinity Church in Wallingford.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Charles Orozco of North Palm Beach, Fla., and two sisters, Stephanie Orozco of North Palm Beach, Fla. and Patricia L. Cymbala of Wallingford.
Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian burial on Friday at 9 a.m. at the Most Holy Trinity Church, 84 N. Colony Road, Wallingford. There are no calling hours. Burial will be private.
The B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 S. Elm St., is in charge of arrangements.
Robert S. Oshana
SOUTHINGTON — Robert S. Oshana, 72, of North Stonegate Road, died Wednesday, Oct. 21, 1998, at New Britain General Hospital. He was the husband of Paula (Gill) Oshana.
Born Sept. 7, 1926, in New Britain, he was the son of Esther (Daniel) Oshana of Osterville, Mass., and the late Zaya S. Oshana. He had been employed by the U.S. Postal Service in New Britain. He was a veteran of World War II with the U.S. Navy Seabees in the South Pacific. Mr. Oshana was a member of the Planning and Zoning Commission for many years. He was a member of the Southington Democratic Town Committee and the American Legion Kiltonic Post 72. He had coached and managed the Northern Little League and senior baseball league. He was active in the Challenger Baseball League for the handicapped and active in Midget Football. Mr. Oshana was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by two sons, Scott C. Oshana and his wife, Marianne of Plantsville, Robert S. Oshana and his wife, Susan of Dallas, Texas ; a brother, Zaya Oshana and his wife, Angel of Southington; a sister, Cathy Oshana of Osterville, Mass.; three grandchildren, Mitchell, Samuel and Noah; his father-in-law, Kenneth Gill of New Britain; many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Tracy J. Oshana.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery
in New Britain. Calling hours will be Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Donations may be made in his memory to St. Paul's Church Memorial Fund, 145 Main St., Southington, CT 06489.
