She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Patricia Powers; and a grandchild. She was preceded in death by a brother, Mike Dzina.

VERNA E. SNUGGS
Mrs. Snuggs, 92, died Feb. 7, 2001, at a local care center. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Snuggs was born Feb. 13, 1908, in Colorado Springs to Adolf and Alice J. Anderson, who are deceased. She was married Aug. 4, 1933, to Robert P. Snuggs, who is deceased.
She is survived by a grandson, Terry; a granddaughter, Beverly (Snuggs) Chambers; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert E.; and a sister, Margaret Foster.

KIMBERLY JEAN GANZER
Mrs. Ganzer, 39, died Feb. 5, 2001, in Colorado Springs. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Ganzer was born May 12, 1961, in Boulder to David Alan and Darlene (Dickey) Vercoe. Her mother is deceased. She was married to Duane Ganzer.
She is survived by her husband; two sons, Michael Sean Vercoe and Jason Dailey; her father; a brother, David Alan Vercoe II; and a sister, Kelly Jo Vercoe.

SHEILA S. SCOTT
Mrs. Scott, 41, died Feb. 8, 2001, at a local hospital. She retired from the Air Force after 15 years of service.
Mrs. Scott was born July 31, 1959, in Charleston, S.C., to Oscar and Evelina (Brown) Simmons. She was married Oct. 18, 1994, to Joseph Scott.
She is survived by her husband; three sons, Charles L. Brantley, Joseph Scott II and Jonathan Scott, all of Colorado Springs; a daughter, Frayer K. Hogan of Colorado Springs; her mother of Charleston; her father of Charleston; five brothers, Oscar J. Simmons Jr., Elder Floyd Simmons, Elder Terry Simmons, Gary F. Simmons and Vernon L. Simmons, all of Charleston; and a sister, Rosemary S. Wilson of Newport News, Va.

Mrs. Brasche, 90, died Feb. 7, 2001, in Colorado Springs. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Brasche was born June 22, 1910, in New Britain, Conn., to Gunther and Estelle Holland Richter, who are deceased. She was married to William Brasche, who is deceased.
She is survived by a son, Michael H.; two daughters, Joan Baptiste and Betty Palmer; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Henry J.

DONALD LEE CRABILL
Mr. Crabill, 68, died Feb. 6, 2001, at a local hospital.
Mr. Crabill was born May 3, 1932, in Santa Rosa, Mo. He was married to Mary Lou Clark.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Michael and David; a daughter, Diana Lew; numerous nephews and nieces; and two grandsons.

Anita, 80, died Feb. 7, 2001, in Colorado Springs. She was a retired secretary.
Anita was born Sept. 27, 1920, in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, to Bruce H. and Irma (Meyers) Reid, who are deceased.
She is survived by a brother-in-law, Thomas Todd.

Eve, 88, a Colorado Springs resident, died Feb. 7, 2001, at a Lakewood care center. She was a homemaker.
Eve was born Dec. 4, 1912, in Knoxville, Tenn.

ORIEN HOMER "O.H." DARROW
Mr. Darrow, 70, died Feb. 6, 2001, in Colorado Springs. He was a retired college business professor and a former Mountain Bell marketing analyst. He served in the Air Force from 1947 to 1957.
Mr. Darrow was born May 13, 1930, in Farmington, N.M. He was married Dec. 23, 1959, to Beverlee Unwin.
He is survived by his wife; three sons, Pat, of Meeker, Kevin, of Colorado Springs and Dennis, of Pueblo; a daughter, Susan Lewis, of Corpus Christi, Texas; a son-in-law, Mark Lewis, of Corpus Christi; three daughter-in-laws, Lisa, of Meeker, Hope, of Colorado Springs and Deb, of Pueblo; and seven grandchildren, Caleb, Lawson, Becka, Rachel, Jessica, Carly and Ally.

RETIRED TECH. SGT. MAX B. HEMPSTEAD
Tech. Sgt. Hempstead, 65, died Feb. 7, 2001, at his home in Security. After retirement, he did security work for Fountain Valley School and worked for Coca Cola Bottling Co. in Colorado Springs. He served in the Air Force Intelligence Department.
Tech. Sgt. Hempstead was born Nov. 6, 1935, in Anselmo, Neb., to Lyle W. and Flona (Birkby) Hempstead, who are deceased. He was married Aug. 14, 1955, to Mayde Ann Bosley.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Mike and Martin; a daughter, Marcia Gilbert; a brother, Vaughn; a stepbrother, James Hunt; a stepsister, Helen Reynolds; a sister-in-law, Agnes; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Matt; and his stepmother, Doris.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. today at Dove-Witt Family Mortuary, 6630 S. U.S. Highway 85/87, Fountain, 390-4906. Services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at Dove-Witt Fountain Valley Chapel. Mrs. Intemann, 84, died Feb. 4, 2001, at a local care center. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Intemann was born July 31, 1916, in Kansas City, Mo., to Frank and Tillie (Ertel) Lingo, who are deceased. She was married Nov. 25, 1938, to Luther Intemann.
She is survived by her husband; a son, Edward D.; two daughters, Frances Quinlan and Cathryn Intemann; a brother, Edward Lingo; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by two sons, Harry and Paul; and a grandson, Steven.
A memorial Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Divine Redeemer Catholic Church, 1520 E. Yampa St. A private inurnment will be at a later date. Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., 634-1597, is handling arrangements.

She is survived by two sons, Edward A. and Kenneth N.; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Donald K.; a daughter, Ruth Leo; and a sister, Catherine Parker.

HAROLD JOSEPH METZNER
Mr. Metzner, 83, died Feb. 6, 2001, in Colorado Springs. He was a chauffeur with Carey Cadillac, chauffeur and bodyguard for J. Peter Grace, a member of Knights of Columbus Council 9993 and a volunteer with Penrose Community Hospital. He served in the Army during World War II.
Mr. Metzner was born April 10, 1917, in New York to Joseph and Florence (Mrazak) Metzner, who are deceased. He was married Sept. 12, 1943, to Julia A. Kozich, who is deceased.
He is survived by a son, Robert Dennis of Williston Park, N.Y.; a brother, Edward P.; a sister, Patricia Marks; and three grandchildren.
