GEORGE KARL BURGHARD
Mr. Burghard, 89, died March 23, 2001, in Colorado Springs. He was a postal clerk with the U.S. Postal Service and served in the Army from 1943 to 1945.
Mr. Burghard was born July 8, 1911, in Colorado Springs, to Eugene and Rosa Kipp Burghard, who are deceased. He was married to Cecile M. Snouffer, who is deceased.
He is survived by two daughters, Pat Rosemary and Caroline Glasscock; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Buster; and two brothers, William F. and Otto H.

HAZEL NUTT
Mrs. Nutt, 87, died March 25, 2001, in Colorado Springs. She was a housewife.
Mrs. Nutt was born June 6, 1913, in Garretts Bluff, Texas, to John and Elizibeth Shockley, who are deceased. She was married Jan. 7, 1939, to William Doyle Nutt, who is deceased.
She is survived by a daughter, Marvalynn Riggs; two granddaughters, Sherri Ladzinski and Cimberly Parris; and a great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at Cooper Funeral Home, 220 S. Cedar St., Kermit, Texas. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Cooper Funeral Home. DON REINHARD
Mr. Reinhard, 68, a former Colorado Springs resident, died March 23, 2001, at a Grand Junction hospital of an aneurysm. He was a truck driver and served in the Navy.
Mr. Reinhard was born Sept. 24, 1932, in Pueblo, to Chuck and Ella Reinhard, who are deceased.
He is survived by two daughters, Terry Potts and Tami Covington; two brothers, Dewey and John; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Trinity United Methodist Church, 701 N. 20th St. Callahan-Edfast Mortuary, Grand Junction, (970) 243-2450, is handling arrangements.

JAMES D. KINGSOLVER
Mr. Kingsolver, 51, died March 26, 2001, at his home in Colorado Springs.
Mr. Kingsolver was born Feb. 24, 1950, in Colorado Springs, to Jack David Kingsolver and Hazel Bartimus. His father is deceased.
He is survived by his mother; two brothers, Thomas L. and Steven R.; two half sisters, Jacquelyn Elliott and Joanne Keuch; an aunt, Lillian J. Hahn; and several nieces and nephews.
Private family services will be held. Inurnment will be at Shrine of Remembrance Mausoleum, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., 634-1597.

GERHARDT PETZKE
Mr. Petzke, 77, died March 21, 2001, in Caņon City. He worked in automotive sales and served in the Army from 1944 to 1946.
Mr. Petzke was born Feb. 23, 1924, in Renville, Minn., to Christian and Pauline Petzke, who are deceased. He was married Dec. 26, 1943, to Elenore "Ellie" Hokanson.
He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Bonita Kae Petzke and Linda LaNae Russell; and a grandchild.

Rev. Mr. Van Matre, 64, died March 22, 2001, at home in Colorado Springs. He worked in pastoral care ministry at Divine Redeemer Catholic Church and was retired as a manager of systems and programming in business information services from Colorado Springs Utilities. He also served in the Army.
REV. MR. DAVID CLARK VAN MATRE
Rev. Mr. Van Matre was born March 10, 1937, in Muncie, Ind., to Virgil A. and Alice P. (Clark) Van Matre, who are deceased. He was married Sept 10, 1960, to Patricia E. Davis.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Mark D. and Michael J; a daughter, Anne M. Whitelaw; a son-in-law, Kevin Whitelaw; a daughter-in-law, Linda Van Matre; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, John and James.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday at Swan Law Funeral Directors, 501 N. Cascade Ave., 471-9900. Vigil will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Divine Redeemer Catholic Church, 1520 E. NICOLE S. MARTINEZ
Nicole, infant daughter of Bobby and Ruby Martinez, died March 23, 2001, at a local hospital.
Nicole was born March 8, 2001, in Colorado Springs.
She is survived by her parents; paternal grandparents, Robert and Joan Martinez; and maternal grandparents, Romeo and Norma Sudaria.

ELSIE LOUISE COOPER
Mrs. Cooper, 85, a lifelong Colorado Springs resident, died March 23, 2001, at a local care center. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Cooper was born Dec. 11, 1915, in Florissant, to Paul and Emma (Wright) Densmore, who are deceased. She was married Aug. 22, 1936, to William F. Cooper, who is deceased.
She is survived by four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Frederick L.; three brothers; and two sisters.

DAVID C. CORDOVA
Mr. Cordova, 41, died March 23, 2001, in Colorado Springs. He was a furniture installer for Office Scapes.
Mr. Cordova was born Sept. 10, 1959, in Staten Island, N.Y., to Benjamin and Margaret (Donovan) Cordova, who are deceased. He was married to Clair Kaufman.
He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Amy of Phoenix and Melody of Colorado Springs; two brothers, Benjamin Jr. of San Diego and Thomas E. of Denver; and two sisters, Teresa Cordova and Vicki Osborne, both of Colorado Springs. He was preceded in death by a sister, Melody Ann.

DON WALLACE
Mr. Wallace, 42, died March 21, 2001, in Colorado Springs. He was a car salesman. He also served in the Army.
Mr. Wallace was born Feb. 1, 1959, in Jacksonville, N.C., to Joyce Wallace.
He is survived by a daughter, Donna; his mother; and two brothers, Ernest and Daniel, both of Jacksonville.
Services will be held in Jacksonville. Burial will be at Coastal Carolina State Veteran Cemetery, Jacksonville. Angelus Funeral Directors, 2535 Airport Road, 391-1918, is handling arrangements.
JOHN D. LAVELLE
Mr. Lavelle, 59, died March 22, 2001, at a local hospital of a heart attack. He was a co-owner of advanced information services and an owner of Property Research. He also served in the Marine Corps for 2 years.
Mr. Lavelle was born Oct. 30, 1941, in Kodol, W.Va., to Anthony and Delphia (Quigley) Lavelle, who are deceased. He was married Aug. 19, 1967, to June M. Sivard.
He is survived by his wife and two sisters, Linda Westfall and Mary Lou Paulus. He was preceded in death by three brothers, David, Jack and Ted.

HARRY ADELSTEIN
Mr. Adelstein, 76, died March 15, 2001, at a local care center. He worked in record distribution and sales.
Mr. Adelstein was born Sept. 11, 1924, in New York, to Tom Adelstein and Sylvia Schlang, who are deceased.
He is survived by a son, Tom, of Colorado Springs; two daughters, Marji Adelstein of Denver and Robin Flowers of Moraga, Calif.; two sisters, Terry Mehegan of New York and Joan Crystal of Philadelphia; and four grandchildren.

NORMAN LEE (HARDING) IVERS
Mr. Ivers, 82, died Feb. 25, 2001, at a local care center. He served in the Army and civil service as a Director of Sports and Youth. He was a member of V.F.W., B.P.O.E., D.A.V., American Legion, TREA Divisions and 25th, 43rd and 103rd Veterans.
Mr. Ivers was born May 13, 1918, in Waterville, Maine, to Luke and Ada Ivers, who are deceased. He was married to Elvy F. Saxton. He was then married June 25, 1960, to Joyce Koenig Goldman.
He is survived by his wife; his first wife; a son, Norman Jr.; a daughter, Nance; a stepson, Danny L. Goldman; two stepdaughters, Diana L. Graham and Susan R. Graham; and a sister, Mary E. Owens.
No services are planned. Cappadona's Alternative Funeral Services, 3407 N. El Paso St., 520-1817, handled cremation.
RUTH N. (VISOCSKY) BENSON
Mrs. Benson, 69, died March 18, 2001, in Colorado Springs. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Benson was born July 22, 1931, in Leavenworth, Kan., to Alex and Birdella (Woodward) Visocsky, who are deceased. She was married Jan. 26, 1949, to Robert L. Benson.
She is survived by her husband; two sons, George and Robert L. Jr.; a daughter, Tami Giblin; two brothers, Frank Visocsky and Daniel Visocsky; her twin sister, Ruby Williams; three sisters, Lois Jordan, Ann Paden and Betty Flack; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Beldon-Sexton-Sumpter Funeral Home, 500 Oak Street, Leavenworth. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Beldon-Sexton-Sumpter Funeral Chapel.
