FRANCISCO GILBERT "FRANK" SUAZO

Mr. Suazo, 54, a former Colorado Springs resident, died Dec. 2, 2000, at a Denver hospital. He was a forklift operator and served in the Air Force from 1964 to 1970.

Mr. Suazo was born Sept. 18, 1946, in Trinidad, to Henry J. and Tilde (Mestas) Suazo.

He is survived by two daughters, Franshesca Vasquez and Monica Suazo; his parents; two brothers, Larry and Baron; and a grandson, Eric Vasquez.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Mullare-Murphy Funeral Chapel, 335 E. Main St., Trinidad. Burial will be at Starkville Cemetery, Starkville.

BERNARD "BARNEY" REINHART

Mr. Reinhart, 83, a Colorado Springs resident, died Nov. 21, 2000, in Mesa, Ariz. He retired as a captain from the Army after 25 years of service.

Mr. Reinhart was born Dec. 3, 1916, in Broomfield, Ill., to Ann and Leo Reinhart, who are deceased. He was married Feb. 25, 1941, to Erma Blaine.

He is survived by his wife; a son, Michael J.; a daughter, Michele A. Hyde; a son-in-law, Tom Hyde; a daughter-in-law, Margo; and four grandchildren, Steffanie, Michele, Travers and Nicole. He was preceded in death by a brother, Wilbur; and twin sisters, Ruth and Velma.

Services were held in Mesa. Inurnment was at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 S. Hancock Ave. Melchers Mortuary, Mesa, (480) 964-4537, handled arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, Pikes Peak Division, 415 N. Tejon St., Suite 201, Colorado Springs 80903.

ANGELA MARIE CIMINO

Angela, 20, died Dec. 3, 2000, at her home in Colorado Springs.

Angela was born Aug. 5, 1980, in Colorado Springs, to Albert G. Cimino and Lizabeth (Hageman) Armstrong.

She is survived by a daughter, Amber Nicole; her father; her mother; her stepmother, Vickie Cimino; her paternal grandparents, Peter and Frances Cimino; her maternal grandparents, Zelpha and Darrel Hageman; her stepgrandmother, Eddie Ruth Sabatini; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel of Roses, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., 634-1597. Inurnment will be private.

Memorial contributions may be made to to the Angela Marie Cimino Memorial Fund for Amber Nicole Cimino in care of Pikes Peak National Bank, 2401 W. Colorado Ave., Colorado Springs 80904.

BETTY L. WALLACH

Mrs. Wallach, 69, died Dec. 3, 2000, at her home in Colorado Springs. She was a homemaker and a department store salesperson.

Mrs. Wallach was born Jan. 19, 1931, in Charleston, W.Va., to Rome and Gladys (Fogety) Jones, who are deceased.

She is survived by a son, Larry V.; two brothers, Kermit Jones and Clifford Jones; two sisters, Pauline Kingry and Susie Milam; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m Friday at Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., 634-1597. A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel of Roses. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 3825 Airport Road.

Memorial contributions may be made to Salvation Army, 908 Yuma St., Colorado Springs 80909.

RONALD J. LUNDY

Mr. Lundy, 53, died Dec. 4, 2000, in Colorado Springs. He was owner of Arlun Floor Covering in Colorado Springs and served in the Air Force for four years.

Mr. Lundy was born Nov. 4, 1947, in Sterling, to Jack and Barbara (Nabb) Lundy, who are deceased. He was married Dec. 24, 1966, to Patricia Mallory.

He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Leah Arndt; three brothers, Elmer, Frank and Joe; two sisters, Louise Bruntz and Ginny Dover; and a grandchild. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Albert and Leroy.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Swan Law Funeral Directors, 501 N. Cascade Ave., 471-9900. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Memorial Gardens Chapel, 3825 Airport Road. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 S. Hancock Ave.

ARDELL GROVES

Mr. Groves, 69, died Dec. 2, 2000, in Colorado Springs. He retired from the Army after 22 years of service.

Mr. Groves was born Jan. 30, 1931, in Whitehouse, Tenn., to Beulah and Henry Groves, who are deceased. He was married Jan. 20, 1956, to Kiyoko Kuroda.

He is survived by his wife; a son, Perry K.; a daughter, Melissa; three brothers, Cleo, Melvin and James; two sisters, Iola McClain and Larall Babb; and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be at 9 a.m. Thursday with service at 9:30 a.m. at Memorial Gardens Chapel, 3825 Airport Road. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Pikes Peak Funeral and Cremation Services, 3825 Airport Road, 596-7991, is handling arrangements.

RETIRED COL. BERNARD J. "BARNEY" SZCZUTKOWSKI JR.

Col. Szczutkowski, 77, died Dec. 1, 2000, at his home in Colorado Springs. He retired as a pilot from the Air Force. He was a consultant for the aerospace industry.

Col. Szczutkowski was born Sept. 7, 1923, in Erie, Pa., to Bernard and Julia Szczutkowski, who are deceased. He was married Aug. 31, 1946, to Emily Laszkiewicz.

He is survived by his wife; a son, Mark; five daughters, Therese Mika, Debby Velenovsky, Karen Szkarlat, Carol Jost and Lynne Neiss; two brothers, Frank and Art; a sister, Bernadette Statton; and 14 grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Swan Law Funeral Directors, 501 N. Cascade Ave., 471-9900. A funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Peterson Air Force Base Chapel, 455 Vincent St. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 S. Hancock Ave.

MONICA R. JANZEN

Mrs. Janzen, 38, died Nov. 29, 2000, in Colorado Springs. She was a computer consultant. She was a honorary spokesperson for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

Mrs. Janzen was born July 14, 1962, in Bastrop, La., to Edward and Bernice (Hay) Brown, who are deceased. She was married July 29, 1989, to Ken Janzen.

She is survived by her husband; two sons, Joshua and Zachary; three brothers, Donald Brown, Kenneth Brown and Harvey Brown; and eight sisters, Patricia Relf, Gilda Ray, Judi Smith; Winifred Brown, Hilda Hawkins, Vanessa Rivers, LaJuana Bryant and Sandra Elam.

Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Dove-Witt Family Mortuary, 6630 S. U.S. Highway 85/87, Fountain, 390-4906. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, 720 Crestline Drive. Burial will be at Lakeview Cemetery, Wichita, Kan.

HATTIE M. HOLCOM

Mrs. Holcom, 84, died Dec. 2, 2000, in Colorado Springs. She was a cosmetologist and a beauty shop owner.

Mrs. Holcom was born Jan. 4, 1916, in Topeka, Kan., to Charles and Lydia (Bovey) Lucia, who are deceased. She was married to Clinton E. Holcom, who is deceased.

She is survived by four daughters, LaVona Jeanne Maley, Betty Haigler, Patricia Krallman and Cheryl Leathers; and 14 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers; and two sisters.

Services will be at a later date at Chapel of the Pines, Red Feather Lakes. Cappadona's Alternative Funeral Services, 3407 N. El Paso St., 520-1817, is handling arrangements.

ROBERT D. SANDERS

Mr. Sanders, 83, died Dec. 2, 2000, in Colorado Springs. He owned a contractor business and served in the Army. He was a World War II veteran.

Mr. Sanders was born Aug. 4, 1917, in Leedey, Okla., to Jodie and Ima (Page) Sanders, who are deceased. He was married June 25, 1965, to Kay Deveny.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, Kirk R. Sanders and Wayne Stevens II; a daughter, Skye Stevens; a brother, Bill; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Marlet.

No services are planned. Mountain View Mortuary, 2350 Montebello Square Drive, 590-8922, is handling arrangements.

BEATRICE IRENE (HOPKINS) LAMPHERE

Mrs. Lamphere, 84, a Manitou Springs resident, died Dec. 1, 2000, at a Denver care center. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Lamphere was born April 2, 1916, in Milnor, N.D., to James and Jemima Mae Hopkins, who are deceased. She was married Feb. 10, 1933, to Albin F. Lamphere, who is deceased.

She is survived by two sons, Albin and Dale; a brother, Robert Hopkins; numerous nieces and nephews; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today at Blunt Mortuary, 2229 W. Colorado Ave., 634-8831. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Blunt Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be at Crystal Valley Cemetery, end of Plainview Place, Manitou Springs.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. John, 1320 Everett Court, Lakewood 80215.

JAMES K. McDANIEL

Mr. McDaniel, 77, died Nov. 14, 2000, in Colorado Springs. He worked in shipping and receiving at an irrigation firm. He served as a master sergeant in the Air Force.

Mr. McDaniel was born Jan. 13, 1923, in Pascola, Mo., to Syd and Sarah (Lett) McDaniel, who are deceased. He was married March 21, 1951, to Teresa Kramer.

He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Jamie; and a sister, Rosemarie Little. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Edward, Charles, Marvin and Marion.

A memorial Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of the Pines, 11020 Teachout Road, Black Forest. Burial was private. Nolan Funeral Home, 225 N. Weber St., 632-7608, is handling arrangements.

CHRISTINE S. BRODNAX

Mrs. Brodnax, 47, died Dec. 2, 2000, at her home in Elbert as a result of breast cancer. She worked in data entry at Focus on the Family.

Mrs. Brodnax was born Oct. 25, 1953, in Dubuque, Iowa, to Adolph and Sylvia (Narvesen) Kohler. She was married June 29, 1973, to Ben H. Brodnax.

She is survived by her husband; three sons, Dan, Andrew and Lucas; her parents; two brothers, Peter Kohler and Michael Kohler; and four sisters, Margo Petersen, Cindy Scher, Karen Cagle and Amy Rodriquez.

Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday with services at 10 a.m. at Black Forest Lutheran Church, 12455 Black Forest Road, Black Forest. Burial will be at Eastonville Cemetery, Meridian Road and Latigo Boulevard, Black Forest. Mountain View Mortuary, 2350 Montebello Square Drive, 590-8922, is handling arrangements.
