LYLE EASOM
Mr. Easom, 86, died Jan. 12, 2001, at a local care center. He was a retired steel worker.
Mr. Easom was born April 28, 1914, in Yoder to Elmer E. and Mable (Culbertson) Easom, who are deceased.
He is survived by a son, Lyle Jr. (Butch); four daughters, Jimmie, Lynette, Lillie Ann and Virgie; a brother, Leroy; and three sisters, Marjorie, Margaret and June. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda; two brothers, Leslie and George; and a sister, Flossie.
Visitation will be from noon to 4 p.m. today and from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Evergreen Funeral Home, 1830 E. Fountain Blvd. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Kanza Cemetery, Rush.
EVELYN C. DUNN
Mrs. Dunn, 87, died Jan. 12, 2001, at a local care center. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Dunn was born Jan. 9, 1914, in Aberdeen, S.D., to Harvey and Grace (Madsen) Cope, who are deceased. She was married Sept. 1, 1947 to William R. Dunn, who is deceased.
She is survived by two sons, Howard Dana Rowley, and Gary James Rowley; a daughter, Marianne Shuler; a sister, Edith Maynard; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, John R. Dunn; and two sisters, Irene Houck and Edna Schmidt.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Swan-Law Cascade Chapel, 501 N. Cascade Ave. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at First Presbyterian Church, 219 E. Bijou St.
Burial will be Wednesday, after services, at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd., Denver.

CHARLES J. SHAFFER
Mr. Shaffer, 68, died Jan. 12, 2001, at his home in Calhan. He was a retired cable supply splicer for US West Communications. He served in the Coast Guard.
Mr. Shaffer was born Feb. 15, 1932, in Denver to Charles John Sr. and Grace Irene (Null) Shaffer. His father is deceased. He was married Dec. 5, 1953, to Donna Lee (Freeh-ling) Shaffer.
He is survived by his wife; three sons, Bruce, Steven and Timothy; three daughters, Deborah Cox, Tamra Herrera and Melanie Trujillo; his mother; a sister, Rosemary Toney; 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Swan-Law Funeral Home, 501 N. Cascade Ave. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Living Word Community Church, 532 Colorado Ave., Calhan.
Burial will be at Calhan Cemetery, Calhan.
TIM J. PILGER
Tim Pilger, 27, died Jan. 13, 2001, at a local care center, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was employed as an insurance adjuster with State Farm Insurance.
Tim was born Dec. 16, 1973, in Pueblo to John M. and Amy L. (Richardson) Pilger.
He is survived by his parents; his twin brother, Todd; a brother, Tyler; his maternal grandparents, L.L. and Velma Richardson; and his paternal grandmother, Maxine Pilger.
A private celebration of life is planned.

NORMA JEAN SALLEY
Mrs. Salley, 80, died Jan. 13, 2001, at a local hospital. She was a homemaker, and was formerly employed with the Arkansas state revenue office.
Mrs. Salley was born Jan. 12, 1921, in Benton, Ark., to Martin and Grace (Huchingson) Wills, who are deceased. She was married July 15, 1945, to Glynnwood Scott Salley, who is deceased.
She is survived by two daughters, Merlyn Caywood and Karen Salley; a sister, Virginia Carter; a brother-in-law; two sisters-in-law; two grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Services will be in Benton.

ANN ALNORA DANGER
Mrs. Danger, 63, died Jan. 9, 2001, in Colorado Springs. She was a welder.
Mrs. Danger was born April 1, 1937, in Moline, Ill., to John L. and Verna (Newton) Anderson, who are deceased. She was married March 17, 1973, to Ernest Danger.
She is survived by her husband; a son, Troy Modesitt; four daughters, Tracy Konopka, Dora Gilcrease, Amy Danger and Alisa Gilliam; a brother, Jack Anderson; a sister Phillis Gibson; and six grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Memorial Gardens Chapel, 3825 Airport Road. Pikes Peak Funeral and Cremation Service, 3825 Airport Road, 590-8960, is handling arrangements.
FRANCIS A. "FRANK" THOMAS
Mr. Thomas, 67, died Jan. 11, 2001, in Colorado Springs. He retired after 20 years from Colorado Springs Water Department, and worked as a bartender for 11 years. He also served in the Army for 10 years.
Mr. Thomas was born Aug. 18, 1933, in Philadelphia, to Charles and Rose Thomas, who are deceased. He was married July 16, 1960, to Dorothy Medrano.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Frank W.; a daughter, Candy Lee Dreiling; two brothers, Walter and George; and seven grandchildren. He is also survived by his wife's mother and her seven sisters.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 3101 Poinsetta Drive. Private inurnment is planned. Nolan Funeral Home, 225 N. Weber St., 632-7608, is handling arrangements.
MELBA A. HOLLISTER
Mrs. Hollister, 85, died Jan. 10, 2001, at a local hospital. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Hollister was born Jan. 26, 1915, in Stafford County, Kan., to John Martin and Mattie May (Gates) Tucker, who are deceased.
She is survived by a son, Albert G.; three daughters, Lila G. Smith, Gail L. Farmer and Lona Dee Lang; two brothers, Loren Stalcup and Riley Stalcup; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Martin Tucker and Melvin Tucker; and two sisters, Mildred Weiszbrod and Louise Slocum.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel of Roses, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., 634-1597. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 S. STEVEN LOUIS McCARTY
Mr. McCarty, 50, a former Colorado Springs resident, died Jan. 9, 2001, in Wellington. He was employed by the Colorado Department of Revenue at the Port of Entry, Fort Collins.
Mr. McCarty was born March 23, 1950, in Colorado Springs to Tillie (Breecher) McCarty. He was also born to Robert "Mac" McCarty, who is deceased. He was married in 1979 to Susan Ash.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Blake; a daughter, Kylle Been; his mother; a brother, Michael; and a sister, Sharon Miles. Services will be at 1 p.m. Jan. 20 at Palmer Lake Town Hall, Palmer Lake. Allnut Funeral Service, 650 W. Drake Road, Fort Collins, (970) 482-3208, is handling arrangements.
ADAM L. KISHBAUGH
Mr. Kishbaugh, 37, died Jan. 9, 2001, at a local hospital. He was a musician with the Checker Pass Band, and also worked at Interstate Battery.
Mr. Kishbaugh was born April 4, 1963, in Lancaster, Ohio, to Arthur L. and Shirley (Gilkey) Kishbaugh. He was married Oct. 28, 1994, to Peggy L. Badger.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Sean; a daughter, Melissa; his parents; a brother, Allen; and his grandparents, Thalbert L. and Marie R. Kishbaugh.

Mrs. Franklin, 79, died Jan. 12, 2001, at a local care center. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Franklin was born Jan. 18, 1921, in Columbus, Ohio, to Norman and Helen (Williams) Phelps, who are deceased. She was married Dec. 3, 1940, to William W. Franklin, who is deceased.
She is survived by three sons, James L., John N., and David A.; three daughters, Cindy, Irene and Arby; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
