LUCILLE CAROLINE "AUNTIE TEAL" MICHELS
Miss Michels, 100, died Jan. 11, 2001, at a local care center. She graduated from the Seton School of Nursing and was a registered nurse. She retired from Penrose Hospital in 1965 as the head nurse on the orthopedic floor.
Miss Michels was born Aug. 3, 1900, in Denver to William Henry and Anna Augusta (Kruse) Michels, who are deceased.
She is survived by three nieces and two nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, William, George and Edward; and a sister, Zella Green.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday at Nolan Funeral Home, 225 N. Weber St., 632-7608. A Mass will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 2318 N. Cascade Ave.
Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, 1000 S. 26th St.

TRAVIS LEE HUEPPELSHEUSER
Mr. Hueppels-heuser, 30, died Jan. 11, 2001, in Colorado Springs. He worked as a finish carpenter at Cutright Construction.
Mr. Hueppels-heuser was born April 14, 1970, in El Centro, Calif., to Leonard Hueppelsheuser and Cat (Marks) McChristian. He was married Sept. 22, 1990, to Gena McQuillen.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Trentyn Lee; a daughter, Catrena Ruth; his mother; a brother, Jon Hoffman; a sister, Tina Kirkpatrick; and a grandmother, Daisy Duree.
Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Rustic Hills Baptist Church, 1927 Murray Blvd.

ROBERT "BOB" SCHILLINGER
Mr. Schillinger, 72, died Jan. 14, 2001, in Colorado Springs. He was a parts man for International Harvester in Colorado Springs and North Dakota for more than 30 years. For the past eight years, he was a driver for Hondac Auto.
Mr. Schillinger was born Dec. 14, 1928, in Sioux City, Iowa, to Anthony Thomas "Edd" and Luella Faith (Davenport) Schillinger, who are deceased. He was married Jan. 15, 1950, to Pearl LaVerne Schaeffer.
He is survived by his wife; three sons, Jeff, Rob and Randy; a daughter, Marsha Shonoiki; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Edna Luella Voegele, Eleanor Francis Schillinger and Delia Mae Schillinger; and a brother, Edward Joseph Schillinger.
Visitation will be from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, with services at 11 a.m., at Wilson United Methodist Church, 6460 Flying W Ranch Road. A reception will be after services. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 S. Hancock Ave.

E. MAXINE (KAUFFMAN) BOLES
Mrs. Boles, 82, died Jan. 14, 2001, at a local care center. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Boles was born Feb. 2, 1918, in Colorado Springs to William and Bertha Lane Gambrel Boles, who are deceased. She was married Dec. 3, 1936, to Harry Boles, who is deceased.
She is survived by two sons, Robert H. and the Rev. John V.
Services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Swan Law Cascade Chapel, 501 N. Cascade Ave., 471-9900. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery at a later date.

MARIE YOUNG
Mrs. Young, 77, died Jan. 15, 2001, at a local care center. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Young was born Dec. 18, 1923, in Denton County, Texas, to John C. and Lola L. (Templin) Wilson, who are deceased. She was married June 4, 1945, to Charles "Chuck" Young.
She is survived by her husband; a son, Ronald L.; two daughters, Phyllis A. Matera and Cindy McBride; a brother, John E. Wilson; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today, with a vigil at 6 p.m., at Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel of Roses, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd. A Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Cathedral, 22 W. Kiowa St.

LEON HALLEY FERGUSON
Mr. Ferguson, 96, died Jan. 14, 2001, in Colorado Springs. He was employed as an Internal Revenue agent.
Mr. Ferguson was born Feb. 18, 1904, in Fort Collins to Robert M. and Josephine Lee Ferguson, who are deceased. He was married Dec. 22, 1925, to Doris Dunn, who is deceased.
He is survived by two sons, Robert and Richard; a daughter, Eleanor Armstrong; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
No services are planned.

LESLIE P. GUIER
Mr. Guier, 82, died Jan. 15, 2001, at his home in Cascade. He was a retired farmer and electrician. He served in the Air Force during World War II.
Mr. Guier was born June 3, 1918, in Cross Timbers, Mo., to Edmund Sr. and Lorena (Wooden) Guier, who are deceased. He was married Dec. 21, 1955, to Loretha Stone.
Mr. Guier is survived by his wife; a son, Donald W.; two brothers, Charles and Robert; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Edmund Jr.
Services and burial will be in Sweet Springs, Mo. Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home, Sweet Springs, Mo., (660) 886-5700, is handling arrangements.
NORMAN O. TISHER
Mr. Tisher, 78, died Jan. 14, 2001, at a local hospital. He was employed by Army Air Force Exchange in food service and served in the Merchant Marines for four years.
Mr. Tisher was born June 6, 1922, in Ravenna, Ohio, to Sylvester S. and Josephine V. (Burkey) Tisher, who are deceased. He was married March 6, 1960, to Phyllis V. Barker.
Mr. Tisher is survived by his wife; two brothers, Warren and Russell; and a sister, Eunice Hill.
Private burial will be at a later date. Shrine of Remembrance, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., 634-1597, is handling arrangements.
JANA KENNEDY HUNTOON
Mrs. Huntoon, 47, died Jan. 11, 2001, at a local hospital. She served in the Air Force, retiring with the rank of chief master sergeant.
Mrs. Huntoon was born Jan. 5, 1954, in Logan, Utah, to Dean R. Rees and Dorothy D. (Day) Conlon. Her father is deceased. She was married May 18, 1990, to Lee W. Huntoon.
She is survived by her husband; her mother; her stepfather, Mel "Bud" Conlon; two brothers, David Rees and Mark Rees; and a sister, Debra McBride.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Peterson Air Force Base Chapel.
Burial will be at Logan Cemetery, Logan.

LARRY D. ODELL
Mr. Odell, 61, a former Colorado Springs resident, died Jan. 10, 2001, at a hospital in Wray. He was employed as a field construction superintendent for Colorado Springs Electric T & D. He served in the Air Force from 1962 to 1966.
Mr. Odell was born Sept. 5, 1939, in Wray to Earl M. and Ruth M. (Neff) Odell, who are deceased. He was married Oct. 14, 1983, to Gail A. (Oliver) Odell.
He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Jolene and Misty; and two brothers, Clifford and Max.
Visitation will be from noon to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at First Evangelical Free Church, 820 N. 30th St. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Evangelical Free Church.
Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 S. Hancock Ave.

Mrs. Smith, 95, died Jan. 14, 2001, at a local care center. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Smith was born Dec. 1, 1905, in Dawson, Miss., to Frederick and Ruth Marie (Salen) Fisher, who are deceased.
She is survived by two sons, Len and Willard; a daughter, Paula Brandenburg; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Swan-Law Cascade Chapel, 501 N. Cascade Ave. Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Swan Law Cascade Chapel.
