Mrs. Greenfield, 36, died Jan. 16, 2001, in Colorado Springs.
Mrs. Greenfield was born May 10, 1964, in Iowa City, Iowa. She was married Sept. 10, 1999, to Burt Greenfield III.
She is survived by her husband; her mother, Lee Splain; a brother, Gary Hicks; and a sister, Peggy Algreen.

W. LEWIS CONGER
Mr. Conger, 75, died Jan. 17, 2001, in Colorado Springs. He retired from Timken Co.
Mr. Conger was born Dec. 5, 1925, in Colorado Springs to William M. and A. Marie (Steppler) Conger. His father is deceased. He was married March 2, 1951, to Dorothy Fox.
He is survived by his wife; three sons, Ron, Clark and Brent; two daughters, Donna Leo and Jeanette Harris; his mother; two brothers, Curtis and Arnold; two sisters, Jean Nagode and Roberta Crego; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bob; and a sister, Jane Viox.
Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Swan Law Funeral Directors, 501 N. Cascade Ave., 471-9900, and from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2750 Melissa Drive. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, 1000 S. 26th St.

RUTH A. SPITZER
Mrs. Spitzer, 90, died Jan. 13, 2001, in Caņon City. She was a homemaker and worked at Odd Fellows Home for about 20 years.
Mrs. Spitzer was born April 7, 1910, in Jasper, Mo., to Dora and Bonn Johnson, who are deceased. She was married Sept. 1, 1927, to Luther W. Spitzer, who is deceased.
She is survived by two sons, William "Bill" of Caņon City and George L. of Pueblo; three daughters, Vera R. Foster of Caņon City, Selma L. Eller of Florence and Kathy Goe of Grand Junction; two sons-in-law, Glenn Eller of Florence and Gary Goe of Grand Junction; a daughter-in-law, Helene Spitzer of Pueblo; 14 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two infant sons, Robert and Donald; three brothers; four sisters; and a grandson, Glenn R. Eller.
A memorial service was held. A private burial is planned later at Lakeside Cemetery, 1525 S. Ninth St., Caņon City.

THE REV. FLOYD E. ROBINSON
The Rev. Robinson, 74, a former Colorado Springs resident, died Jan. 14, 2001, in Winter Haven, Fla. He was a Baptist minister and served in the Army.
The Rev. Robinson was born Nov. 4, 1926, in Hillman, Mich. He was married May 1, 1954, to Doris H. Todd, who is deceased.
He is survived by two daughters, Pamela J. Robinson and Lori L. Walker; two grandchildren; and a great-grandson. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Jan. 29 at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 S. Hancock Ave. Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., 634-1597, is handling arrangements.

RAY PERRY SCHIELD
Mr. Schield, 76, died Jan. 14, 2001, in Colorado Springs. He was a manager with 3M Co.
Mr. Schield was born Oct. 15, 1924, in Scranton, Pa., to Alex and Ruth (Rennells) Schield, who are deceased. He was married Oct. 21, 1948, to Evie Marie Schweitzer.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Steve and Mike; and five grandchildren.
Private family services are planned.

JESSE FARREL GARST
Mr. Garst, 92, a former Colorado Springs resident, died Jan. 14, 2001, in Tempe, Ariz. He was a printer in the composing room at The Gazette in Colorado Springs from 1947 to 1975.
Mr. Garst was born Jan. 18, 1908, in Gove County, Kan., to Charles Homer and Carrie Belle DeFord Garst, who are deceased. He was married April 23, 1938, to Ferne May Wanamaker.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, J.F. Jr. of Burnt Ranch, Calif., and Gail of Stillwater, Okla.; three daughters, Janet Moffett of Tempe, Lois Meyer of Tempe and Dena Orr of Tucson, Ariz.; three sons-in-law, Keith Moffett of Tempe, Doug Meyer of Tempe and Jim Orr of Tucson; two daughters-in-law, Peggy of Burnt Ranch and Connie of Stillwater; a brother, Clinton of Overbrook, Kan.; a sister, Margaret of Bellflower, Calif.; 13 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Grace Community Church, 1200 E. Southern Ave., Tempe. Inurnment is planned.

RICHARD LEWIS CARVER
Mr. Carver, 80, died Jan. 15, 2001, in Colorado Springs. He worked in construction as a lather and served in the Navy for four years.
Mr. Carver was born Jan. 23, 1920, in Watts City, Calif., to Frank Lewis and Helena Ruth (Spurr) Carver, who are deceased. He was married Oct. 12, 1945, to Phyllis Arlene Drake, who is deceased.
He is survived by a daughter, Diane Treat; three brothers, Donald Carver, Thomas Smith and David Smith; a sister, Dora Smith; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Phillip Richard; two brothers, Robert and Ralph; and two sisters, Bessie Marie Jones and Martha Hebb.

Mrs. Childs, 77, died Jan. 14, 2001, in Colorado Springs. She was a licensed practical nurse.
Mrs. Childs was born Nov. 21, 1923, in Zaandam, Holland, to Jan and Engelina (Veeter) de Groot, who are deceased. She was married Nov. 10, 1948, to Arthur Childs, who is deceased.
She is survived by two sons, Perry V. II and James M.; three daughters, Monica L. Davis, Dagmar D. Wurth and Kathleen E. Essick; 14 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

WILBUR W. KELLY
Mr. Kelly, 70, died Jan. 15, 2001, at a local care center. He retired as a staff sergeant from the Air Force.
Mr. Kelly was born Jan. 8, 1931, in Isonville, Ky., to Dewey and Maye (Ison) Kelley, who are deceased. He was married Aug. 7, 1954, to Marcia L. Bishop.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Dean; a daughter, Yvonne Leigh; two brothers, Willis Kelley and Dewayne Kelly; three sisters, Eileen Hay, Flohrene Elliott and Wilma Stegall; four grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday at Swan Law Funeral Directors, 501 N. Cascade Ave., 471-9900.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Gardens Chapel, 3825 Airport Road. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
CYNTHIA K. RAATZ-HAYES
Cynthia, 38, died Jan. 11, 2001, in Colorado Springs. She was a homemaker.
Cynthia was born March 16, 1962, in Denver to Raymond and Cordilla Beaver. She was married to David Hayes.
She is survived by her husband; four sons, Joseph Raatz, Jonathan Hayes, Joshua Hayes and Jacob Hayes; three daughters, Jenna Hayes, Jessica Hayes and Justina Hayes; her parents; a brother, Christopher Beaver; and four sisters, Ginger Curry, Cheryl Peck, Terri Beaver and Cathleen Beaver.
A rosary will be at 12:30 p.m. Friday, with a memorial Mass at 1 p.m., at St. Joseph Catholic Church-Southgate, 1830 S. Corona Ave. Inurnment will be private. Nolan Funeral Home, 225 N. Weber St., 632-7608, is handling arrangements.
WALDEMAR MAIER
Mr. Maier, 68, died Jan. 16, 2001, in Colorado Springs. He was an occupational safety and health specialist. He served in the Army from 1953 to 1980 and served in Korea and Vietnam.
Mr. Maier was born July 31, 1932, in Grodovka, Russia. He was married Jan. 2, 1980, to Marceline Bane.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Bill; a daughter, Marina; three stepsons, Phil Martin, Ralph Martin and Steve Bane; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his mother, Erna Maier.
Services will be at 6 p.m. today at Swan Law Cascade Chapel, 501 N. Cascade Ave., 471-9900. Inurnment will be at a later date at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd., Denver.

DOROTHY HIGGS BEVIS
Mrs. Bevis, 81, died Jan. 15, 2001, at her home in Colorado Springs. She was a retired secretary and homemaker.
Mrs. Bevis was born Nov. 29, 1919, in Somerville, Tenn., to John and Sallie (Earnhardt) Higgs, who are deceased. She was married April 25, 1942, to Biff Bevis.
She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Terry Jones; a sister, Elizabeth Croft; and a grandson.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Tempel.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel of Roses, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., 634-1597.
Inurnment will be at Shrine of Remembrance Mausoleum.
