RETIRED MSGT. ALBERT WILLIAM "AL" SUBACH

Born April 16, 1930. Died April 2, 2002.

Business owner/Air Force, a 32-year Colorado Springs resident. Survived by his wife, Sherry Eleanor (Wright); a son, Allen; and two daughters, Brenda Hammer and Jeannine Vanderhoff. Cappadona's Alternative Funeral Service.

MARILYN S. RANDLE

Born March 23, 1931. Died April 1, 2002.

Homemaker, a 15-year Rush resident. Survived by her husband, Randy Randle. Evergreen Funeral Home.

ROBERT W. SACK

Born Dec. 1, 1946. Died March 25, 2002.

Director, a former Colorado Springs resident. Survived by his wife, Ellen Watson-Sack; two children, Becky Boska and Brian Sack; and four step-children, Kristen Robbins, Jonathan Lane, Andre Lane and Nicholas Lane. Montgomery and Steward Funeral Directors.

ROY B. CASE

Mr. Case died at Pikes Peak Hospice on March 23, 2002. He was a World War II veteran, private businessman and manufacturing manager before retiring to Colorado Springs. He was born in Seiling, Oklahoma, on January 16, 1918, to Charles H. and Minnie (Syllender) Case. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and three sisters.

He was married to Iris M. Cates on May 30, 1941, in Weatherford, Oklahoma. Roy and Iris lovingly welcomed two daughters born to their union. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters and their spouses, Alicia Sue and Herbert George of Montrose, Colorado, and Gaynelle and David Mize of Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was the proud grandfather of Monty, Mitch and Derek George, Christopher Mize, Laura Morariu and Courtenay Porges, ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. He is also survived by a sister, Ardrey Sue Saylor.

Mr. Case spent his childhood in Oklahoma, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree from Oklahoma State University in 1942, and was commissioned as an officer in the United States Army Reserve. His initial duty began in Panama where he spent the first nine months of World War II. He then served as a Combat Infantry Troop Commander in France, Germany and Austria with the 71st Infantry Division until the end of the war. He separated at the grade of Major in 1951. He received the Combat Infantry Badge, two Bonze Stars and other awards.

He was a member of the Broadmoor Community Church and a Master Mason of AFAM Lodge #495, Seiling, Oklahoma, since 1941. He was a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans, a City Councilman in Montrose, Colorado for nine years, a Charter Member of the Argonauts, a volunteer for S.C.O.R.E. and an avid golfer.

Memorial services will be held at the Broadmoor Community Church on Friday, March 29, 2002 at 3:00 o�clock p.m. Inurnment will be at the Meditation Glen, Broadmoor Community Church Columbarium. Memorial contributions may be made to the Broadmoor Community Church, 315 Lake Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80906, or to the Pikes Peak Hospice, 625 East Pikes Peak Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80903.

FRANK V. WIELAND

Frank V. Wieland, 40, of Florissant passed away March 24, 2002. He was born July 1, 1961 in Kassel, Germany. He graduated Stuttgart American High School. He served in the Air Force as a flightline firefighter for 9 years.

He owned and operated Wieland Trucking until his health caused him to change careers. He was a licensed auctioneer and was partners with his parents operating Burg Auction.

He is survived by his parents Ray and Ute Belasco of Widefield, CO; his wife, Darlene, of Florissant; 3 girls, Jessica Wieland, Mtn Home, Idaho, Becky Byers, Blackwell, OK and Marcy Decker, Blackwell, OK; one son Ryan Billings, Pueblo, CO; and five grandchildren.

He is now in the loving arms of his Oma.

Services will be held March 29 at 10:00 AM at Mountain Memorial, 51 County Road 5, Divide, CO.

JOHN EDWARD ANDERSON

Born April 8, 1918. Died March 24, 2002.

ROTC educator/retired master sergeant, Army, 40-year Colorado Springs resident. Survived by two daughters, Sue Witcher and Kay Piehl. Cappadona's Alternative Funeral Service.

TERESA ANN BREIDENBACH

Born Oct. 18, 1950. Died March 25, 2002.

Program analyst with U.S. Space Command, 12-year Colorado Springs resident. Survived by her husband, James C. Breidenbach; and a daughter, Liesl. Vigil, 7 p.m., Monday, Our Lady of the Pines Catholic Church, 11020 Teachout Road, Black Forest. Memorial Mass, 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Our Lady of the Pines Catholic Church, Swan Law Funeral Directors.

FERMAN E. BURNS

Born March 12, 1913. Died March 19, 2002.

Real estate and appraisals, 52-year Colorado Springs resident. Survived by his wife, Helen Marie (Clifton) Burns; a son, John C.; and two daughters, Joanne Hall and Kathy Read. Cappadona's Alternative Funeral Service.

Retired master sergeant, Army/state highway driver, a Colorado Springs resident. Survived by his wife, Shirley Chilensky; two sons, Donald Pruitt and Bill Pruitt; and a daughter, Deborah Scott Alan. VIRGINIA M. CONIFF

Born Jan. 6, 1918. Died March 23, 2002.

Homemaker, 78-year Colorado Springs resident. Survived by three sons, Jim, Joe and Tim; and five daughters, Pat Treadwell, Jean Hall, Cathrine Kipp, Mary Kaley and Lucille Gustason. PHYLLIS KAY MOHR

HELEN B. CAHILL

Born March 13, 1923. Died April 7, 2002.

Homemaker, a 53-year Colorado Springs resident. Survived by two daughters, Karen Cahill and Deborah Fergione. Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home.

STEVEN MCKEE

Steven was 46 years old and died on April 11, 2002 at Memorial Hospital, from a short illness.

Steven is survived by his wife, Crystal, a son Jeremy, and a daughter, Stephanie, and his mother, Barbara Neigg. He has 4 brothers Michael Neigg, Patrick Neigg, Kevin McKee, and Shannon McKee; 2 sisters, Debbie Moen, and Melissa McKee.

Steven was preceded in death by his father, Vaun McKee, and his brother, Richard Dalton McKee.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. at Mountain View Mortuary, 2350 Montebello Square Drive, Colorado Springs, Colorado.

CLARENCE ROLLIN "DUTCH" SWARTZ

Clarence Rollin "Dutch" Swartz passed away at a local hospital on April 13, 2002, after a lengthy illness. He was born in Hoyt, Kansas on October 2, 1912 to Albert Roy and Ethel (Bull) Swartz. He was married on May 3, 1933 to Viola Johnson who preceded him in death. On February 14, 1975 he married Gaile (Sautter) Priest.

He is survived by his wife, Gaile; a son Billy R. Swartz (Marijke); two daughters Vivian Protsman and Sharron "Rusty" Browning (Loren); and two step-daughters, Gaile J. McCuaig (Marv) of Elbert and Janet Dale (Jack) of Sheridan, Wyoming. Two sisters, Doris Brownson of Leavenworth, Kansas, and Wanetta Moors of Rockport, Texas, eight grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews also survive.

He had worked on the Midland Railroad into Cripple Creek, served as a police officer, deputy sheriff, and assistant General Manager of the Antlers Hotel. He retired from School District 11 in 1975 and then owned an appliance repair business.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Odds and Ends Class of the First United Methodist Church, 420 N Nevada Ave, Colorado Springs, CO, 80903 or the American Heart Association, 415 N Tejon Ste 201, Colorado Springs, CO 80903, or American Lung Association, 1600 Race St, Denver, CO 80206.

Visitation will be at Swan-Law Funeral Home, 501 N Cascade Ave, Colorado Springs on Tuesday, April 16, 2002, from 3:00-8:00. Services will be at First United Methodist Church, 420 N Nevada Ave, Wednesday, April 17, 2002 at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery.

XAVIER MICHAEL DRAKE

Xavier Michael Drake beloved son of Jeremy and Taneal was born June 29, 2001 in Chapel Hills, North Carolina. They moved to Falcon in November 2001. On April 13 Xavier died at Memorial Hospital. Besides his parents he is survived by Grandparents Dennis and Maureen Cornell, Debbie and Dave Ritz, Great grandma Maureen Johnson Great-grandparents, John Allen, Bill and Kathy Cornell, Great-Great-grandparents Wilma Grefe, Francis George and Steve and Bella Farber, also aunts Stevie, Jamie, Nil'Jo, Kaitlin, Uncle Kyle and many other family and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday 2:00-4:30 p.m. at Mt. View Mortuary, 2350 Montebello Square Drive. Funeral Service will Be held Wednesday April 17 at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. View Mortuary. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens, 3825 Airport Road.
