Barbara Sullivan
Barbara Sullivan, a longtime Evergreen resident, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2012, in Tulsa, Okla.
Barbara was a beloved mother, businesswoman and teacher. She enjoyed traveling the world, and had visited Iran, the USSR, Peru and Egypt.
She is survived by her son Patrick; her grandson Declan; her four brothers; many loving nieces and nephews; and a close circle of friends in the Evergreen and Denver area.
Verdis C. Cook, 92
Born in Star Prairie, Wis., on Aug. 22, 1919, Verdis C. Cook died at his home on March 3, 2012. His leaving peacefully, in familiar surroundings, was made possible by the wonderful people at Mt. Evans Hospice. We couldn’t have done it without them.

Our cherished sister and friend Autumn Joy Cougar passed away peacefully at her home in Indian Hills on Saturday, March 10, 2012.

Chris Karpinski, 24, died Saturday, March 24, 2012, in Evergreen.
He is survived by his parents, Peter and Denise; and his brothers Matthew and Lukas.
Chris enjoyed skiing, music, baseball and being in the company of his limitless friends. He loved effortlessly, never letting the hardships of life get him down. His kindness, generosity and heartwarming smile will live on through his family and friends.

Addison Jean Brattebo Ball, 28, of Oregon City, Ore., passed away unexpectedly at home on March 1, 2012. She was born in Denver on May 9, 1983, and grew up in Evergreen.

Dave Killian Sr., 63, of Evergreen passed away on March 16, 2012.
Dave was a loving father and husband, and well-respected real estate business owner. Early in life, Dave served as a medic in the Army, later became a teacher, and then moved into real estate. He launched two very successful Denver real estate companies: Cherry Creek Realtors and Brokers Guild.

Jacquelyn Southard, 90, of Evergreen passed away on March 12, 2012. Jackie devoted her life to being a supportive wife to Donald Southard, who passed away on Jan. 28, 2012.

Robert C. "Bob" Davis, a resident of Evergreen for 40 years, passed away at Life Care Center of Evergreen on March 14, 2012, at the age of 89.
Eleanor Ferguson Ferry
Sept. 14, 1922 – Feb. 27, 2012
Eleanor Ferguson Ferry passed away in Oro Valley, Ariz., near Tucson on Feb. 27, 2012. Her beloved husband of 65 years, John Huntington Ferry, had passed away just 23 days prior, with Eleanor at his side.
Eleanor is survived by three children, Roger McEwan Ferry of Encinitas, Calif., David Jackson Ferry of Steamboat Springs and Patricia Ferry Caillouet of Littleton; and four grandchildren.
Thelma Pecoraro (Ewald), 94
Thelma Pecoraro (Ewald), 94, was born May 28, 1917, to Alma (Donna) and Charles (Doc) Ewald of Elmira, N.Y. She passed March 8, 2012, in Evergreen.
She graduated from Elmira College in 1939 with a bachelor of arts degree in English/journalism. She married Joseph N. Pecoraro on Nov. 1, 1942, in New York City. This was only the first of many moves, including the states of New Jersey, California, Arizona, Kentucky, Missouri, Colorado and back to Elmira, along with Washington, D.C., leading us to ask, “Where in the world is mom?”
Doreen Bond VanInwagen
Doreen Bond VanInwagen died on March 7, 2012, at age 83.
She served as a missionary in Latin America with her husband, Richard.
An exceptional mother and wife, she is survived by her two sons, Scott and Chris; daughters-in-law Joy and Patty; and two grandchildren, Kyla and Weston. She was preceded in death by her husband.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 17, 2012, at Conference Baptist Church, 27154 N. Turkey Creek Road in Evergreen, followed by burial at Evergreen Memorial Park.

Joe Martinez Gallardo, 84, of Denver passed away on Feb. 20, 2012.
Charlene Louise Greene
Charlene Louise Greene of Evergreen was born Aug. 26, 1920, and died Jan. 29, 2012.
She was a beloved mother to Michael and Richard Greene.
She will be forever remembered by her three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A Denver native, Charlene was a dedicated teacher for 33 years with Denver Public Schools. She studied at the University of Northern Colorado, where she acquired her teaching degree.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012, at Crown Hill Cemetery in the pavilion. All are welcome.

Dean Crabb, 75, of Evergreen passed away Feb. 5, 2012.
A memorial service was held on Monday, Feb. 13, 2012, at Newcomer West Metro Chapel, 901 S. Sheridan Blvd. in Lakewood.

Ralph Paul Evans
Ralph Paul Evans was born in St. Louis, Mo., to Paul Henry and Louise (Gejewi) Evans on Dec. 4, 1922. He completed his earthly journey Feb. 9, 2012.
Dad will be missed by sons Paul, Randolph (Betty), David and Nathan. Ralph was preceded in death by his wife, Martha, son Mark and daughter Caroline. Granddad also leaves behind nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Sharon (Smith) Herr
Sharon (Smith) Herr passed away at her home in Spokane, Wash., on Jan. 29, 2012.
Sharon was born in South Bend, Ind., on July 16, 1930. She graduated from Riley High School in 1948 and attended Washington University in St. Louis, where she joined the Delta Gamma sorority and made many lifelong friends.
