Randy Dean Randels of New Sharon, Iowa, and Evergreen was laid to rest May 8, 2012, at Friends Cemetery in New Sharon.
Survivors include his son, Jasen Eugene Randels, daughter Jessica Elizibeth (Robert III) Carter, and grandson Jacob Maas.
Carl D. Chapell, 72
Carl D. Chapell, a resident of Evergreen and Fort Myers, Fla., passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at St. Anthony Hospital after a short illness. Carl, 72, was born and raised in Grand Blanc, Mich. He was the son of the late Helen L. Burroughs and William F. Chapell and the stepson of the late George Burroughs. He moved to Evergreen in 1997 after a successful career in the printing business, owning and managing Genesee Business Systems Inc. of Fenton, Mich.

Terrie Lynn Armbrust Swanson, 52, of Morrison passed away Sunday, June 17, 2012.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Swanson, of Morrison. She grew up in Kittredge.

Beverley Burzlaff was born on May 28, 1926, in Des Moines, Iowa. She passed away in Evergreen on June 9, 2012.
A visitation is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 12, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 901 S. Sheridan Blvd. in Lakewood. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 14, at Lutheran Church of the Cross in Evergreen.
Beverley had a bell choir that she directed for several years, which played in several area churches. She also had a collectible business called Mountain Memories. She was a member of the Evergreen Area Chamber of Commerce.
Mertie Scott Saturday, 78
Mertie Scott Saturday, 78, of Palm Harbor, Fla., passed away on June 6, 2012. She was born in Tampa, Fla., and lived in Evergreen for many years.
She is survived by her loving family: husband Earl A. Taylor; her son, Terry D. Saturday and his wife, Brenda, and her son Rick Saturday.
The family received friends on June 9, 2012, at the Blount & Curry West Chapel, 6802 Silvermill Drive in Tampa, Fla., where a service of remembrance was held.

Larry Dale Kaufman, 70, passed away on April 28, 2012, at Presbyterian Hospital in Denton, Texas, from complications due to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
Sabine Brenner, 80
Sabine Brenner, 80, passed away in her home on April 16, 2012. Sabine was a resident of and worked in Evergreen since 1964.
Maryan Ross, 81
Maryan Ross passed away peacefully on April 11, 2012, at St. Anthony Hospital following a recent illness and rehab at Life Care Center of Evergreen.
She is survived by her husband, Dick Ross. They are longtime Evergreen residents. Other survivors include four children, David, Lyndee, Cheri and Joe, all from out of state.
There was a memorial at Activation Ministries Center, 166 S. Lookout Mountain Road, on Tuesday, April 24. Other services and inurnment are pending.
Susan Allocca, 68
Susan Allocca, 68, died on April 18, 2012, due to an auto accident that occurred March 14 at the intersection of Highway 103 (Squaw Pass Road) and Evergreen Parkway.
She is survived by her husband, Tony; son Mark; and three sisters and one brother.
Susan had lived for the past eight years at Rocky Mountain Village. She previously lived in California.
There will be a remembrance for her from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 6, at Rocky Mountain Village.
Myrtle Beeler, 91
Myrtle Beeler, 91, of Conifer passed away April 9, 2012.
Myrtle Blanche (Fields) Beeler was born April 17, 1920, in Pleasant Park, Colo.
She married John Lloyd Beeler Sr. on Sept. 8, 1941. They lived a happy and eventful life until his early passing on May 6, 1974.
Myrtle is survived by two children, John (Phyllis) Beeler and Kitty Mae (Peter) Orlowski; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was a creative homemaker (a quilter), an owner of Fields Trading Post, and a 27-year veteran bus driver for the Jefferson County School District.
