Pam was born April 27, 1912 at Holly, the daughter of Alexander Wagner and Molly Nazarenus–Wagner. She received her primary education in the Holly Schools.
On September 4, 1934 Pam was united in marriage to Alvin M. Gordon, known to all as Bill, at Sharon Springs, Kansas. To this union were born two sons - Charles and Marshall. Together they returned to Holly and established their home on a farm north of town where they raised their family and made their livelihood until retiring in 1968. Pam and Bill then moved to town where Pam lived in the same home the last forty years. Throughout her adult life Pam was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother as well as a lifelong homemaker. She and Bill celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on September 4, 1984. In addition to her family, Pam was involved in her community. She was a longtime member of the Holly V.F.W. Auxiliary, the Holly Homemakers Club, and as a very devoted Christian attended the Holly Assembly of God Church.
Pam was preceded in death by her parents - Alexander and Mollie Wagner of Holly, Colo.; by her husband of 59 years, Alvin M. “Bill” Gordon of Holly, Colo. on Dec. 9, 1993; by one son, Charles M. Gordon of Holly, Colo. on March 14, 1997; by one brother, Charles Wagner of Holly, Colo.; and by one sister, Martha Newkirk of Conway, Ark.

No time on earth is long enough to share with those we love or to prepare our hearts for that last goodbye.
The services began with Rev. Ralph and Candy Plummer singing “How great thou art”, followed by Rev. Stapleton reading two scriptures Pam had selected for this occasion. They were Psalms 139: 1-4, and Isaiah 41:10. After a prayer of thanksgiving for the life of a dedicated Christian, Rev. Stapleton delivered his funeral message paralleling Pam’s life to Psalms 23.
He shared that Christ is our shepherd in today’s world and we are his sheep. Following the message and additional words of comfort, Rev. and Mrs. Plummer sang “He Touched Me”, and Pastor Stapleton concluded the service with a prayer and committal benediction.
The family then received friends and relatives in a time of fellowship and a memorial dinner at the Holly Senior/Community Center.
