Funeral services for Dorothy DiFrancesco Wilcox, 77, of Longmont, Colo., will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, August 22 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. Interment will be at Longmont Mountain View Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4 - 7 p.m. Thursday, August 21, 2008 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel with family present to greet friends.
Dorothy DiFrancesco Wilcox, 77, of Longmont, passed away August 14, 2008 at HospiceCare Care Center in Louisville.
She was born November 30, 1930 in Brooklyn, New York to Albert and Dorothy (Chapin) DiFrancesco.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and her son, Edwin F. Wilcox, Jr.
Survivors include her two sons, Charles Wilcox of Longmont and John Wilcox of Longmont; her daughter, Dorothy Fondak and her husband Dr. Jeffrey Fondak of Carthage, NY; her brother, Albert DiFrancesco of Guilford, Connecticut and three grandchildren, Theodore F. Fondak, Andrew A. Fondak and Joshua S. Wilcox.

Funeral services for Beulah McDaniel Fratus, 88, former Eads, Colo. resident, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 16, 2008 at the United Methodist Church in Eads, Colo.
Burial will follow at the Eads Cemetery.
Visitation will take place from 11 a.m. until service time at the church.
Beulah was born on July 15, 1920 in McDonald, Kan. and died on August 9, 2008 in Yuma, Ariz.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Ronald McDaniel and Kenneth Fratus; daughter, Doris K. McDaniel; one sister and two brothers.
She is survived by children, Richard (Janet) McDaniel of Eads, Colo. and Dennis McDaniel of Cheyenne Wells, Colo.; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one sister, Amy Tesmer of Colorado Springs, Colo.; one brother, Harold Prosser of Mississippi; one sister-in-law, Ernestine Prosser of Pueblo, Colo. as well as numerous other family members and many friends.

Funeral services for Dorothy E. Berry, 91, Eads, Colo. resident, were held at 10 a.m. Monday, August 18, 2008 at United Methodist Church in Eads, Colo.
Burial will follow at the Eads Cemetery in Eads, Colo.
Berry was born on March 31, 1917 in Eads, Colo. and died on August 14, 2008 at Weisbrod Memorial Nursing Home in Eads, Colo.
Berry was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George Berry; three brothers, Ralph Eder, Roland Eder and Raymond Eder.
She is survived by son, Ralph (Kelli) Berry of Eads, Colo.; two grandchildren; one sister, Ruth Rose of Eads, Colo.; several nieces and nephews to include, Janice (Don) Pfingston of Eads, Colo. and Marlin (Pat) Eder of Eads, Colo.; one sister-in-law, Hannah Eder of Eads, Colo. as well as numerous other family members and many friends.

A graveside memorial service for Norman, Oklahoma resident, Elva “June” Tyner, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday August 16, 2008 at the Hillside Cemetery in Granada, Colo.
Mrs. Tyner was born on June 11, 1926 in Lamar, Colo. to Roy and Laura Frances (Souders) Eddleman and departed this life on July 17, 2008 in Norman, Okla. at the age of 82.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Raymond Haskell and Thomas Tyner; by one brother; four sisters; and one granddaughter.
She is survived by her children, Richard (Linda) Haskell of Newalla, Okla., Karla Richert of Norman, Okla., Tim Tyner of Somers, Ark.; and Micki (Rick) George of Oktaha, Okla.; by 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild; by two brothers, Cecil Eddleman and Frank Eddleman both of California; by three sisters, Ruthie Karbeloh of Lowry City, Mo., Lou Pettit of Lufkin, Texas, and Betty (Gary) Meninger of Ft. Worth, Texas. Also surviving are numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Minnie V. Mitchell, 97, Arapahoe, Colo. resident, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at Arapahoe Community Church in Arapahoe, Colo.
Burial will follow at the Arapahoe Cemetery in Arapahoe.
Visitation took place from 3 - 6 p.m. Tuesday at Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Cheyenne Wells, Colo.
Mitchell was born on January 17, 1911 in Canton, Okla. and died on August 9, 2008 at the Cheyenne Manor in Cheyenne Wells, Colo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and four sisters.
She is survived by husband, Virgil Mitchell of the family home in Arapahoe, Colo. children, Gerald (Diane) Mitchell of Arapahoe, Colo., Ronnie (Terri) Mitchell of Rifle, Colo.; nine grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren as well as numerous other family members and many friends.

Funeral services for longtime Lamar, Colo. resident, Kenneth T. Pendergraft, age 92, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at Valley Memorial Funeral Chapel in Lamar. Kathy Leathers will officiate the service and burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery in Lamar.
Visitation for Kenneth will be held from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday August 12, 2008 and prior to the service on Wednesday at Valley Memorial Funeral Chapel in Lamar.
Mr. Pendergraft was born on November 10, 1915 in McDonald County, Mo. and departed this life on Sunday August 10, 2008 at the Holly Nursing Care Center in Holly, Colo.
Mr. Pendergraft was preceded in death by his father and mother, James T. Jacks and Inez Pendergraft; by his wife, Dorothy I. Pendergraft of Lamar on July 20, 1999; by one daughter, Betty Jones of Lamar on April 10, 2005; and by one son, Robert Thombs of Lamar on May 19, 2008.
He is survived by one daughter, Shirley (Jack) Wilson of Aurora, Colo.; by five grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and nine great-great grandchildren; also surviving are numerous friends.

Everett “Dale” Carberry
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Monday, August 11, 2008 at the Life Center Four Square Gospel Church for longtime Lamar resident, Everett D. Carberry. Pastor Manuel Tamez officiated.
Visitation was held Sunday, August 10, 2008 from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. at the Peacock Funeral Home.
Interment followed in the Veteran’s Section of Fairmount Cemetery under the auspices of the Lamar VFW, St. George Creaghe, Jr. Post #3621 and the American Legion, Post #71.
Dale was born March 16, 1934 at Alva, Okla. to Everett R. and Mary Etha (Mitchell) Carberry and passed away at the age of 74 on August 6, 2008 at his home in Lamar, Colo. with his family by his side.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Carberry of the family home in Lamar; his children, Gale (Kyle) Neill of Holly, Ernest (Rhonda) Carberry of Lamar, Vicki “Roxie” Carberry and friend Debbie of Pueblo and Scott Carberry of Denver. He is also survived by his brothers, Warren (Connie) Carberry of San Antonio, Texas, Carl (Rosie) Carberry of Waynoka, Okla. and Austin (Carol) Carberry of Meeker, Okla. and a sister Twila (Gary) Barrett of Standford, Texas. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Kyle, Kira, Kala, Kody, Cassandra, Curtis, Melissa, Amanda and Bonathan as well as other relatives and many friends.

A funeral liturgy service for Woodward, Okla. resident and former Holly, Colo. resident, Adam Dominguez, age 42, was held at 2 p.m. Monday August 11, 2008 at Valley Memorial Funeral Chapel in Holly, CO. Deacon Henry Wertin officiated the service and burial followed in the Holly Cemetery.
Visitation for Adam was held from 12 noon to 7 p.m. on Sunday August 10, 2008 and from 9 a.m. to service time on Monday at Valley Memorial Funeral Chapel in Holly, Colo.
Mr. Dominguez was born on March 7, 1966 in Lamar, Colo. and departed this life unexpectedly on Tuesday August 5, 2008 at his residence in Woodward, Okla.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Raul and Anita Dominguez.
Adam is survived by his wife, Cathy Smith of Woodward, Okla.; by three children, Adam Lambing of Erie, Penn.; James Cavasos of Texas; and Roberto Dominguez also of Texas; by six brothers, Raul (Josie) Dominguez of Lamar; Kenny (Danny) Dominguez of Garden City, Kan.; Joe Luis (Tehra) Dominguez of Lamar; Jose (Lidia) Saldana of Boulder, Colo.; Gilberto (Manuela) Saldana of San Antonio, Texas; and Eliseo (Elodia) Saldana also of San Antonio, Texas; by nine sisters, Lidia (Jose) Saldana of Boulder, Colo.; Mary (Fernando) Balderama of Garden City, Kan.; Virginia (Manuel) Razo also of Garden City, Kan.; Anita (John) Contreras of Holly; Dora (Marcial) Caro also of Holly; Eve (Hector) Enriquez of Garden City, Kan.; Janie (Juan) Martinez of San Antonio, Texas; Maria (Juan Antonio) Sanchez also of San Antonio, Texas; and Rachquel Saldana of Joliet, Ill.; also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and a host of friends.
