Emilie A. "Oma" Adam of Boulder died Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2000, at Boulder Community Hospital.
She was 104.
She was born Dec. 30, 1895, in Vienna, Austria, to Johann Muster and Maria Ullman Muster.
She married Clements Adrian in 1917.
He died.
She married Albert Adam in 1950.
He also died.
Mrs. Adam moved to Boulder in 1962 from Ridgewood, N.J.
She was an infant-care provider in private homes and a homemaker.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Boulder and the Humane Society of Boulder Valley.
She enjoyed skiing, hiking, camping and gardening.
Survivors include a daughter, Else M. Green of Boulder, four grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Herbert Adrian.
Service arrangements were pending.

Carmen A. Innis

Carmen A. Innis of Boulder died Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2000, in Boulder.
She was 83.
She was born June 5, 1917, in Panama to Charles U. Boswell and Hilda Feutardo Boswell.
She married Edgar Ralph Innis Sr. in Panama on Sept. 18, 1943.
Mrs. Innis worked as a cook at the University of Colorado from 1964 to 1985.
She moved to Boulder from Panama City in 1958.
She was a member of the Second Baptist Church of Boulder.
Survivors include a daughter, Nora Johnson of Sacramento, Calif.; and a son, Edgar R. Innis Jr. of Cassatt, S.C.; a sister, Silvia Daniel of Denver; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; two brothers, George Boswell and Ralph Roland; and a sister, Lena Feutardo.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Howe Mortuary, 2121 11th St., Boulder.
A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Second Baptist Church, 5300 Baseline Road, Boulder, with the Rev. Hansford Vann officiating.
Interment will be in Mountain View Memorial Park, 3016 Kalmia Ave., Boulder.

Hazel Eleanore Johnson
June 20, 1914 - Oct. 14, 2000
Hazel Eleanore Johnson of Boulder died Saturday, Oct. 14, 2000, at ManorCare Health Services.
She was 86.
The daughter of Joseph Mitchell and Nettie Doughty Mitchell, she was born in Arvada on June 20, 1914.
She married Ray Walter Johnson in Boulder in 1932.
He died in 1947.
She moved to Boulder in 1927 and graduated from the State Preparatory School in 1931.
She was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church, where she worked as a secretary for 30 years until 1977.
She was also a member of the Blue Triangle Club.
She enjoyed photography and was a frequent contributor to the Daily Camera's Open Forum.
Survivors include a daughter, Kay Johnson Lisle of Westport, Mass.; a brother, Reid Mitchell of Tacoma, Wash.; and a grandson, Erich Dethlefsen of Manchester, N.H.
The date for a memorial service at First Presbyterian Church will be announced later.

John H. Bisbee
July 30, 1941 - Nov. 3, 2000
John H. Bisbee of Farmington, Ill., formerly of Boulder, died Friday, Nov. 3, 2000, at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria, Ill.
He was 59.
The son of Ben H. Bisbee and Sally Roach Bisbee, he was born July 30, 1941, in Evanston, Ill.
He married Kathy McCarty in May 1970 in Boulder.
They divorced.
He married Lisa Kerr on July 3, 1999, in Burlington, Iowa.
He graduated from the University of Colorado in 1963 and earned a law degree from Denver University in 1967. He worked for the NAACP Legal Defense in 1963 and lived and practiced law in Boulder from 1967 until 1975.
In 1993, he argued two cases before the U.S. Supreme Court.
He was a Constitutional law scholar and outspoken advocate of civil rights and liberties.
He was a Scholar of Abraham Lincoln.
Survivors include his father of Rantoul, Ill.; two daughters, Elizabeth Bisbee-Silber of Los Angeles and Julie Bisbee of Normal, Ill.; a stepson, Max of Farmington; a stepdaughter, Audrey of Farmington; a brother, Stephen Bisbee of Denver; and a sister, Susan Reid of Sedalia.
A memorial service was held.

Robert A. Jacobsen
May 24, 1914 - Nov. 4, 2000
Robert A. Jacobsen of Boulder died Saturday, Nov. 4, 2000, at Terrace Heights.
He was 86.
Born May 24, 1914, in Poole, Neb., he was the son of Charles Jacobsen and Augusta Lehmann Jacobsen.
He married Jean Stewart on Jan. 16, 1944, in Adelaide, Australia.
He served in the Army during World War II in Australia.
Mr. Jacobsen moved to Boulder in 1945.
He was a self-employed painting contractor.
He was active in the Democratic Party.
Survivors include his wife of Boulder; three sons, David Jacobsen of New Jersey and Mark Jacobsen and Michael Jacobsen, both of Boulder; two brothers, Melvin Jacobsen of Boulder and Kenneth Jacobsen of Oregon; two sisters, Dorothy Erickson and Laura Bertran; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph, and a sister, Lola.
Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Trinity Lutheran Church in Boulder. Vera Guebert of the church will officiate.

Harleen A. Keller

Harleen A. Keller of Amarillo, Texas, formerly of Boulder County, died Saturday, Nov. 4, 2000. She was 55.
The daughter of Harley Fish and Alice Petersen Fish, she was born Dec. 18, 1944, in Mcminnville, Ore.
She married Richard Keller.
Mrs. Keller lived in Boulder County from 1979 to 1995.
She managed a horse ranch and was a member of the Colorado Arabian Horse Association.
Survivors include her husband of Amarillo, Texas; her mother of Cheyenne, Wyo.; four sons, Daniel Keller of Erie, Dean Keller of Longmont, J.R. Keller of Kiowa and Todd Smith-Keller of Las Vegas; a daughter, Melissa Keller of Longmont; two sisters, Lori Hill and Katie Cave, both of Cheyenne; and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Wiederspahn-Radomssky Chapel of the Chimes, 1900 E. 19th St., Cheyenne.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the chapel.
The Rev. Kurt Borgaard of First Christian Church in Cheyenne will officiate.
Interment will be at Beth El Cemetery
in Cheyenne.
Loren R. Alcorn
Oct. 29, 1906 - Oct. 27, 2001
Loren R. Alcorn of Littleton, formerly of Boulder, died Saturday, Oct. 27, 2001, in Denver of natural causes.
He was 94.
The son of John Warren Alcorn and Emma Jane Slaght Alcorn, he was born Oct. 29, 1906, in Boulder.
He married Martha Marie Albright on July 29, 1924, in Boulder.
She died on Sept. 18, 1994.
He lived in Boulder from 1906 to 1973.
He was a cabinet maker and earned a lifetime achievement award from a union chapter.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty Louise Pomeroy of Galeton; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Glen Arthur Alcorn, and 10 brothers and sisters.
A visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Howe Mortuary, 2121 11th St., Boulder.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Mountain View Memorial Park in Boulder.

John Foltz
Feb. 22, 1910 - Oct. 26, 2001
John Foltz of Boulder died of pneumonia in Mesa, Ariz. on Friday, Oct. 26, 2001.
He was 91.
The son of Jesse Foltz and Cora Campbell Foltz, he was born Feb. 22, 1910, in Kellerton, Iowa.
He married Lila Tompkins on May 7, 1932, in Rockport, Mo.
Mr. Foltz lived in Boulder for 50 years.
He was in the construction industry.
He retired in 1975.
Survivors include his wife of Boulder; a son, Dennis Foltz of San Diego, Calif.; and a sister, Edna Ryan of Mount Ayr, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Floyd Foltz, Glen Foltz, Harold Foltz, and Forrest Foltz; and a sister, Jennie Merritt.
