Ricky D. Bostick, 31, died April 14, 2004, near Salida.
Mr. Bostick was born Feb. 8, 1973, in Parlin, Texas.
He loved to hunt and spend time with his family and his dogs. He was also an artist and landscaper.
Mr. Bostick was preceded in death by his mother, Florence Heusel.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Bostick, Salida; father, Harold Heusel of Howard; son, Ricky D. Bostick Jr., Salida; stepsons, Jeremy (Kate) Lamm, Salida; Brandon (Amy) Lamm, Cedaredge and Zachary Lamm, Salida; step-daughter, Jennifer Lamm, Salida; sister, Marlissa Heusel of Howard; father and mother-in-law, Don and Lela Prosser, Salida; brothers and sisters-in law, Ron (Donna) Prosser, Salida; Lance (Becky) Rundle, Hotchkiss and Tom (Donna) Strohl, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Pablo Lamm, Marlon Lamm, Amberlyn Lamm and Jade Lamm and many nieces and nephews and friends.
Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at Lewis and Glenn Funeral Home.

Rev. Bill Korf officiated. Soloists were Lela Rundle and Harold Heusel.

Delbert D. Henry
Delbert D. Henry, 73, died about 6:30 p.m. March 30, 2004, in Boulder County.
The son of Jess Henry and Violette Jane Brownyard Henry, he was born June 20, 1930, in Garden City, Kan. He married Shirley Harmon Feb. 9, 1975, in Salida.
He worked for New Jersey Zinc in Gilman for 23 years.
Mr. Henry is survived by his wife, Shirley Henry; brother, James Henry, Salida; Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Liascos; Pam Liascos; Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Sinopole; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Paris and sons, all of Bakersfield, Calif.; Anst Liascos, Phoenix, Ariz. and one grand niece and seven grand nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the cancer or lung association of the donor’s choice.
Mable C. Neilly
Mable C. Neilly, 75, died April 15, 2004, at her home in Salida after a long illness.
Mrs. Neilly is survived by her husband, Pat; daughter, Kathleen; son, Mike (Leann) and grandchildren, Alec and Kyra.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Fairview Cemetery.
The family has requested no flowers.
Memorial contributions may be made to the National American Indian Association, through Lewis and Glenn Funeral Home.
Mable C. Neilly
Graveside services for Mable C. Neilly were held at 11 a.m. Monday at Fairview Cemetery.

Raymond Thomas Devereaux
Raymond Thomas Devereaux, 52, Salida, “Ray Ray” as he liked to be called, died April 5, 2004, while working on a road construction site leading into Monte Vista.
He was born May 14, 1951, in Indiana to R.T. and Eleanor Devereaux.
Mr. Devereaux loved the sea. He was a commercial deep sea fisherman most of his life in Florida and Belize.
He was working with contractors on road construction in Colorado.
Mr. Devereaux enjoyed building on his land in Saguache, landscaping, cooking, wrestling with sharks, learning new information about history, science, medicine and holistic health and visiting friends.
He loved animals – especially dogs. He loved relaxing at home with his family in Salida.
He was an Episcopalian and his main church was the outdoors, nature, the mountains, seas and Mother Earth.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Lee; his dog and best friend an Aussie/lab named Argel; sisters, Susie Swaby and Dee Patty and both his parents.
Cremation was chosen by his family.
A memorial to celebrate and honor his life will be held at 4:30 p.m. Friday at his home at 142 Poncha Blvd., Salida.
John P. Linza
John P. Linza, 57, died April 2, 2004, at his home.
He was born Jan. 18, 1947, in Salida, to Carl and Lillian Linza who preceded him in death along with his son, David Linza and grandmother, Julia Linza.
Mr. Linza is survived by his wife of 14 years, Louise McDonnell; children, Michelle Linza, Erik Linza and Jennifer (Jerad) Bond; sisters, Kerrie (Randy) McFarland and Jeri (Steve) Linde; grandchildren, Tony Linza and Connor Bond; niece, Sara McFarland; nephew, Daniel McFarland; numerous aunts, uncles, friends and special friends, Larry Reed and Eddie Maestas.
He was employed as a conductor by the Union Pacific Railroad for 34 years.
At his request, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at George McCarthy Historic Chapel, 400 Broadway, Pueblo.
Kathleen Elizabeth Argys
Kathleen Elizabeth Argys, 70, Salida, died April 5, 2004, at Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Argys was born June 10, 1933, in Salida, to Peter and Yolanda (Alloy) Davidoff.
She married George Argys Feb. 14, 1953, in Pueblo.
Her interests included painting, camping and four wheeling.
Mrs. Argys is survived by her mother, Yolanda Spino, Salida; husband, George Argys, Salida; daughters, Debra (George) Zambrano, Pueblo and Sherrie (Patrick) DeGraffenreiv, Littleton; brothers, David Davidoff, Salida and Pete (Kathy) Davidoff, Steamboat Springs; step-brothers, Al (Helen) Spino, Las Vegas, Nev. and John (Betty) Spino, Salida; brother-in-law, Ted Argys, Salida; four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Peter Davidoff; stepfather, Albert Spino; son, George Argys Jr. and a grandson.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. Thursday at Lewis and Glenn Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Fairview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society through Lewis and Glenn Funeral Home.
Kathleen Elizabeth Argys: Funeral notice
Funeral services for Kathleen Elizabeth Argys were held at 1 p.m. April 8, 2004 at Lewis and Glenn Funeral Home.
Fr. Henry Grodecki officiated the service. The musicians were DiAnn Bourget and Jeanne Kostelic. The musical selection was “Ave Maria.”
Pallbearers were George Zambrano, George Zambrano Jr., Patrick DeGraffenreid, Ralph Coscarella, Bill Cook, John Spino and John Dykins.
Interment followed at Fairview Cemetery.
Arrangements were with Lewis and Glenn Funeral Home.
Frances Wilma Martinez
Former Del Norte and Alamosa resident Frances Wilma Martinez, 72, died April 5, 2004, in Denver.
She was born Dec. 17, 1931, in Del Norte, the daughter of Jacob Montoya and Grace Montoya.
She married George H. Martinez Jan. 12, 1950, in Taos, N.M.
Mrs. Martinez retired as a nurse practitioner/lab technician from St. Joseph Hospital in Denver.
Her hobbies included embroidering, cooking, baking, bingo, 5-cent slot machines and being with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include daughters, Elizabeth (Donald) Jehle, Salida; Georgianne (Mike) Martinez-Montano, Englewood; Grace (Valentino) Griego, Alamosa and Anna Lynn Martinez, Pueblo; sons, Michael Martinez, Littleton; David (Bertha) Martinez, Littleton and Jonathan (Bobbie) Martinez, Englewood; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Rube Aguilar, Albuquerque, N.M. and Victoria (Ernie) Maestas, Thornton; brother, Jake (Estella) Montoya, Del Norte and by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mrs. Martinez was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Grace Montoya and her husband, George H. Martinez.
A vigil service with Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church in Del Norte. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Del Norte Cemetery.
Arrangements are in care of Romero Funeral Home of Alamosa.
