MARJORIE "MARGE" ENOMOTO
Mrs. Enomoto, 71, died June 25, 2001, at a local care center. She was an executive secretary with San Luis Valley Savings & Loan.
Mrs. Enomoto was born April 27, 1930, in San Luis to Usaku and Tsumo Uyeda, who are deceased. She was married Oct. 29, 1949, to Shirow Enomoto.
She is survived by her husband; three daughters, Cheryl Ungerer, Donna Runnels and Marcia Dodgion; a brother, Frank Uyeda; two sisters, Helen Furukawa and Grace Moroye; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, 1201 Leta Drive, Security. Inurnment will be at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church Columbarium. Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., 634-1597, is handling arrangements.

SUEANN IRENE RIEDEL
Mrs. Riedel, 49, died June 24, 2001, at a local care center. She was a teacher at Summit Elementary School in Divide; Challenger Elementary, Issaquah, Wash.; and Rockrimmon Elementary School.
Mrs. Riedel was born March 6, 1952, in Milwaukee to Norman Bauhs and Bernadine Thein. Her father is deceased. She was married Aug. 1, 1981, to Michael K. Riedel.
She is survived by her husband; her mother; and a brother, Jim Bauhs.

HELEN (LUTZ) BLADE
Mrs. Blade, 95, a former Colorado Springs resident, died June 19, 2001, in St. Louis. She was a homemaker and schoolteacher.
Mrs. Blade was born Jan. 31, 1906, in Brighton. She was married in 1930 to Oscar Carl Blade, who is deceased.
She is survived by three sons, Joseph Carl "Joe, " William Robert "Bill" and Richard Allen; and two grandchildren.
A private family service will be Tuesday. Inurnment will be at Memorial Gardens Crematory, 3825 Airport Road. St. Louis Cremation Service, St. Louis, (314) 241-8844, is handling arrangements.
ORLANDO E. BERG
Mr. Berg, 87, died June 24, 2001, at a local care center. He was a civil service maintenance worker. He attained the rank of first lieutenant in the Army in World War II. He helped train the 10th Mountain Division and served in Normandy, Northern France, The Rhineland, central Europe and the Aleutian Islands. He was awarded the Purple Heart and other decorations and citations.
Mr. Berg was born Nov. 18, 1913, in Clear Creek, Wis., to Ragnwald Berg and Clara Olson, who are deceased. He was married June 14, 1949, to Marie E. Hoff, who is deceased.
He is survived by a brother, Romain. He was preceded in death by a sister, Eleanor Rosenberg.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 1128 E. Boulder St. Evergreen Funeral Home, 1830 E. Fountain Blvd., 475-8303, is handling cremation.

LURA E. (SUMPTER) RICHARDS
Mrs. Richards, 86, died June 21, 2001, at a local care center. She was a licensed practical nurse in hospitals and private homes.
Mrs. Richards was born June 27, 1914, in Gilmer County, W. Va., to James Camden Sumpter and Nancy Nutter, who are deceased. She was married to Earl Richards, who is deceased.
She is survived by a son, Bill Dean; three granddaughters; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters.
Services and burial will be in Glenville, W.Va. Nolan Funeral Home, 225 N. Weber St., 632-7608, is handling local arrangements.
VICTOR DAVID GRIEGO
Mr. Griego, 51, a former Colorado Springs resident, died June 24, 2001, at a Florence care center. He was a project mananger for Bella Vista Landscaping at the Air Force Academy.
Mr. Griego was born Aug. 21, 1949, in Tucumcari, N.M., to Adolph J. and Theresa (Salas) Griego. His father is deceased.
He is survived by a daughter, Robin Anne Page; his mother; two sisters, Connie Ondola and Janet Wilson; and two grandchildren.

WARREN W. "TIM" BROOKS
Mr. Brooks, 79, died June 24, 2001, at his home in Colorado Springs. He was retired and served in the Army.
Mr. Brooks was born Nov. 15, 1921, in East Liverpool, Ohio, to Warren and Martha (Keeler) Brooks, who are deceased. He was married Jan. 25, 1946, to Melba Anderson, who is deceased.
He is survived by a son, Warren; a daughter, Melba Masel; a sister, Norma Everett; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., 634-1597. A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel of Roses. Entombment will be at Shrine of Remembrance Gate of Heaven Mausoleum.

LESSIE "JULIE" SLAY
Lessie, 65, died June 23, 2001, in Colorado Springs. She was a teacher.
Lessie was born Jan. 12, 1936, in Roanoke, Ala.
She is survived by three sons, Eugene, Stacy and Daryl; and a daughter, Daphne Standiford. She was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Crawford.

Mrs. Friend, 91, died June 24, 2001, at a local care center. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Friend was born May 30, 1910, in Hamburg, Iowa, to Pete and Mary P. (Schell) Leckenby, who are deceased. She was married to Roy R. Friend, who is deceased.
She is survived by a daughter, Sharon Sides; two sisters, Louise Bufmack and Agnes Jordan; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.

DORTHA MARIE VANCE
Mrs. Vance, 77, died June 24, 2001, at a local care center. She was a homemaker and vocalist. She retired in 1990 as manager of La Cresta Mobile Home Estates in Colorado Springs.
Mrs. Vance was born July 12, 1923, in Lore City, Ohio, to John and Mary (Saffel) Dolan, who are deceased. She was married March 7, 1943, to John W. Vance.
She is survived by her husband; two sons, Jack F. and Timothy J.; a daughter, Nancy J. Wheeler; a brother, Edwin Dolan; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Bennett.

BRITENY ELVIRA NICOLE FIELDS
Briteny, infant daughter of Cameron Fields and Shellie Swain, died June 20, 2001, in Colorado Springs.
Briteny was born June 20, 2001, in Colorado Springs.
She is survived by her parents; a sister, Kristina; and two sets of grandparents, Howard Swain and Brenda Swain, and Michael and Julia Fields.
Services will be Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Swan Law Cascade Chapel, 501 N. Cascade Ave., 471-9900.
CHARLES NORMAN BECKNER
Mr. Beckner, 95, died June 23, 2001, at his home. He retired as a horticulturist. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Mr. Beckner was born April 5, 1906, in Louisiana, Mo., to Charles Ward Beckner and Orpha Mae (Mitchell) Beckner, who are deceased. He was married Feb. 14, 1935, to Annetta B. (Howells) Beckner, who is deceased.
He is survived by four sons, Larry, Jon, Lon and Jay; eight daughters, Norma Link, Annabelle Wood, Alta Maag, Alice Leatham, Loretta Cole, Lana Claus, Celia Kelepolo and Sandra Hill; 45 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond and Stanley.
Services will be Wednesday at 9 a.m. at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 3825 Airport Road. Burial is planned. Pikes Peak Funeral and Cremation Services, 3825 Airport Rd., 596-3842, is handling arrangements.
GERTRUD "TRUDY" RILEY
Mrs. Riley, 73, died June 24, 2001, at a local hospice. She retired as a Realtor and was also a homemaker.
Mrs. Riley was born May 6, 1928, in Frankfurt, Germany, to Max and Maria (Lambert) Schnellhardt, who are deceased. She was married in 1955 to Paul William Riley, who is deceased.
She is survived by her son, Stephen P. Riley; three daughters, Linda M. Elenbaas, Joan Gaskins and Karin A. Reynolds; a stepsister, Erika Spangler; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
