MARGARETE L. "RICKY" VAN BRUNT
Mrs. Van Brunt, 62, died June 29, 2001, in Colorado Springs. She was a former waitress.
Mrs. Van Brunt was born July 29, 1938, in Temple, Texas. She was married Sept. 24, 1990, to Jerald W. Van Brunt.
She is survived by her husband; three daughters, Sheri Kendall, Michael Pace and Carmen Cross; two sons, David and Jerry M.; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Services will be Thursday at Swan Law Funeral Directors, 501 N. Cascade Ave., 471-9900. Cremation is planned.

ALAN D. SATRE
Mr. Satre, 46, died June 30, 2001, in Denver. He was a civil service computer specialist at Fort Carson and at the Aerospace Command in Falcon. He also served in U.S. Coast Guard for four years.
Mr. Satre was born Oct. 9, 1954, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Warren J. and Doris M. (Dunbar) Satre.
He is survived by his parents; a brother, Gale; and a sister, Sheryl Satre Calvert.
Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Thursday and from noon to 8 p.m. Friday at Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., 634-1597. Private graveside services will be held at a later date. Burial at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd., Denver will be held at a later date.
LESTER A. "LES" BRUSSO
Mr. Brusso, 83, died June 27, 2001, at a local hospital. He retired as a supervisor from Mury Equipment and also served in the Army.
Mr. Brusso was born Feb. 15, 1918, in Milo, N.D., to Fred Brusso and Alma Lima, who are deceased. He was married Sept. 1, 1963, to Pauline K. Filbey.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Randy; a daughter, Olivia McCormick; a sister, Dora; several grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Loren Brusso, and three brothers.
Visitation has been held Monday. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Grace Brethren Church, 2975 Jet Wing Drive. Burial will follow at 2 p.m. at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 3825 Airport Road. Pikes Peak Funeral Home. 3825 Airport Road, 596-3949, is handling arrangements.

PHILLIP R. WOJNAROSKI (SKI)
Mr. Wojnaroski, 55, died June 29, 2001, in Colorado Springs. He retired after serving in the Army for 20 years. Mr. Wojnaroski was born July 27, 1945, to Louis Wojnaroski and Norma (Lawrence) Wojnaroski. His father is deceased. He was married Feb. 19, 1965, to Soon Cha Pak.
He is survived by his wife; his mother; a son, Phillip Raymond Jr.; two daughters, Carey Ann and Tammy Cha; and a grandchild.
A memorial service will be held in Pensacola, Fla. Inurnment will be at Barrances National Cemetery in Pensacola, Fla. Evergreen Funeral Home, 1830 E. Fountain Blvd., 475-8303, is handling arrangements.
KATHY L. (WHITE) EVANS
Mrs. Evans, 45, died June 28, 2001, in Colorado Springs. She was a homemaker, a medical assistant and a bookkeeper. Mrs. Evans was born April 25, 1956, in Oklahoma City, the daughter of George A. White and Lucina B. White. Her father is deceased. She was married June 20, 1992, to Jerry D. Evans.
She is survived by her mother; her husband; a son, Joel A. Francis; a daughter, Jayme E. Francis; a brother, Frank White; three sisters, LuAnn Clevenger, Robin Barnes and Gloria Jukuri; and one grandchild.

GLENN EARL PEARCE
Mr. Pearce, 48, died June 23, 2001, in Colorado Springs. He was a free-lance artist.
Mr. Pearce was born March 3, 1953, in Evansville, Ind., to Artes Ray "A.R." and Lelia Frances (Raber) Pearce, who are deceased.
He is survived by a brother, Dwight "Ray" Pearce.

RALPH CHANDLER BRUNING JR.
Chandler, 31, died June 28, 2001, on Pikes Peak. He was the head brewer with Bristol Brewing Company. Chandler was born April 22, 1970, to Ralph Chandler Bruning Sr. and Marcia (Mendrop) Bruning. His father is deceased. He was married Sept. 23, 2000, to Amy Marie Pyle.
He is survived by his mother; his wife; a sister, Dawn Bruning-Martin; and his grandparents, Richard and Christine Mendrop. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church, 219 E. Mr. VanMeter, 21, died June 28, 2001, in Colorado Springs. He was a telecommunications tech at Rolnic.
Mr. VanMeter was born June 7, 1980, in Berlin to Jeffrey L. VanMeter and Rebecca E. Cooper. He was married June 15, 1998, to Heidi Davis.
He is survived by his parents; his wife; a son, Brent Eric VanMeter, two brothers, Jeffrey F. and Carl Matthew; and his grandparents, Mary and Bill Cooper.

Mrs. Moeller, 81, died June 28, 2001, in Colorado Springs of cancer. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Moeller was born Jan. 1, 1920, in Colby, Wisc., to Leo E. Kraut and Clara M. Elstrom, who are deceased. She was married Sept. 24, 1942, to Herman T. Moeller, who is deceased.
She is survived by a son, Roger T.; two daughters, Susan A. Delgado and Pamela A. Williamson; a sister, Wilma A. Paul; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Leo E. Kraut Jr., Andor Kraut and Carlton Kraut.

Mrs. Porter, 65, died June 28, 2001, in Colorado Springs. She was a retired registered nurse.
Mrs. Porter was born Nov. 8, 1935, in Albion, Neb., to Berle Berthelsen and Lena Schroeder, who are deceased. She was married Sept. 1, 1957, to Rodney D. Porter.
She is survived by her husband; two sons, Steven R. and Timothy A.; a daughter, Rebecca A. Hunter; a brother, John Berthelsen; a sister, Donna Wiese; and 10 grandchildren.

Mr. Kline, 57, died June 23, 2001, at a local hospital. He worked in construction as a drywall finisher and served in the Army.
Mr. Kline was born Aug. 7, 1943, in Dixon, Ill., to James Kline and Eleanor Liston, who are deceased.
He is survived by a daughter, Nancy Hicks; two brothers, David and Karl; and two grandchildren.

MIRIAM J. "PEGGY" DAY
Mrs. Day, 84, died June 27, 2001, in Colorado Springs. She served in the Naval Reserves during World War II from April 6, 1943, through Nov. 28, 1944, attaining the rank of lieutenant junior grade.
Mrs. Day was born July 8, 1916, in Philadelphia to Norman Lee Jameson and Miriam Vernon Bisler, who are deceased. She was married July 8, 1944, to James Barker Day.
She is survived by her husband; a son, Henry J.; a daughter, Susan B.; a sister, Jane J. Wheat; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Mr. Reid, 79, died June 28, 2001, in Colorado Springs. He was owner of Joe Reid Auto Repair for 22 years and served in the Army.
Mr. Reid was born Sept. 18, 1921, in Rozel, Kan., to Henry Reid and Sadie Pruitt, who are deceased. He was married Oct. 31, 1951, to Juanita Love.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Steven J.; a grandchild; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Stella Ideker and Gladys Anderson.

Mrs. Douglas was born June 11, 1922, in Denison, Kan., to John and Anna (Swank) Cline, who are deceased. She was married June 24, 1943, to Philip H. Douglas, who is deceased.
She is survived by a son, Jeff; a daughter, Ramona Faust; a sister, Loreta Blake; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

RODENE A. BANEY
Rodene, 51, died June 26, 2001, at her home in Colorado Springs. She worked in the escrow department for a local financial institution.
Rodene was born Oct. 21, 1949, in Portland, Ore., to Armand Close and Ila Waterston. Her father is deceased. She was married June 1995 to Walter Burns III.
She is survived by her husband; a son, Donald Burns; a daughter, Sheri Burns; her mother; two brothers, Richard Close and Rodger Close; and a grandchild. She was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Close; and a sister, Armilee Ryland.
