MARTHA E. RHUDY
Mrs. Rhudy, 71, died June 23, 2001, at a local hospital. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Rhudy was born Oct. 2, 1929, in Primasens, Germany, to Wilhem and Elisa Martha Herrmann, who are deceased. She was married Oct. 1, 1955, to Bruce R. Rhudy.
She is survived by her husband; a son, Howard B.; two daughters, June A. Rushford and Sylvia U. Rhudy; a sister, Erika Hendriks; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

ANDREW PAUL WHITEMAN
Mr. Whiteman, 20, died July 2, 2001, at a local hospital. He worked on the wait staff at Texas Roadhouse.
Mr. Whiteman was born Aug. 27, 1980, in Billings, Mont.
He is survived by his father, Lyle R. Whiteman; his mother, Beverly Hurlock; a sister, Stacie Sigler; his grandparents, Paul and Maude Ella Whiteman; and his grandmother, Florence Guess.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Nolan Funeral Home, 225 N. Weber St., 632-7608. Burial will be private.
MARY T. ELLIOTT
Mary, 41, a Colorado Springs resident, died June 30, 2001, in South Dakota of an automobile accident. She was manager of Tempo Bowl.
Mary was born June 9, 1960, in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, to James M. Elliott and Elizabeth L. Heins. Her father is deceased.
She is survived by three daughters, Amanda J. Pittsford, Angela K. Pittsford and Amy L. Pittsford; her mother; four brothers, Jim, Mark, Mike and Victor; two sisters, Betty Faricy and Jude Sacry; and her children’s father, Morris Pittsford. She was preceded in death by a brother, Matt.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Memorial Gardens Cemetery Chapel, 3825 Airport Road. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Divine Redeemer Catholic Church, 1520 E. Yampa St. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. RICKY ARTHUR ESPINOZA
Mr. Espinoza, 37, died June 28, 2001, in Colorado Springs. He was an event planner and coordinator.
Mr. Espinoza was born Oct. 19, 1963, in Farmington, N.M., to Arthur L. and Stephanie "Doris" (Romero) Espinoza. His father is deceased.
He is survived by his mother; a brother, Gary L.; and two sisters, Jacquelyn A. Espinoza and Debbie L. Espinoza-Meyer.
Interment will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 S. Hancock Ave. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, with a reception to follow, at New Life Church World Prayer Center, 11005 Highway 83 N. Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home, 1730 E. RALPH EDWARD KINGERY
Mr. Kingery, 48, a Colorado Springs resident, died June 29, 2001, in Luverne, Minn., of an auto accident. He worked at Utiliquest of Colorado Springs.
Mr. Kingery was born July 16, 1952, in Aberdeen, S.D., to Fred M. and Mable Lorene (Haberman) Kingery. His mother is deceased.
He is survived by two sons, Jeff Thurman and Thomas Thurman; four daughters, Jennifer Thurman, Kelly Penkaty, Sadie Kingery and Maggie Kingery; his father; two brothers, Randall and Ronald; a sister, Linda; eight grandchildren; and his fiancée, Mary Pittsman. He was preceded in death by a son, Mike Thurman.

MASTER SGT. ELAINE DENISE BURNO
Master Sgt. Burno, 48, died July 1, 2001, at her home in Colorado Springs. She was an operation room technician at Evans Army Community Hospital at Fort Carson. She served in the Army for 16 years.
Master Sgt. Burno was born Aug. 11, 1952, in Detroit, to Elisha and Tinnie Burno. Her father is deceased.
She is survived by a son, Thomas Calvin Abston Jr.; a daughter, Kyreasha Denise Stoutt; her mother; three brothers, Elisha Jr., William and Zebbie; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce.

KENNETH FRANKLIN BAIN
Mr. Bain, 60, a former Colorado Springs resident, died June 30, 2001, at his home in Atlanta. He was a newspaper type-set editor for the Atlanta Journal Constitution and for 15 years with the Sun Newspaper in Colorado Springs.
Mr. Bain was born Dec. 29, 1940, in Compton, Calif., to Bruce Bain and Dorothy Maxine Riggs Wilkenson, who are deceased.
He is survived by three sons, Keith F., Kenneth R. and Matthew B.; a daughter, Kimberly N. Harris; three brothers, Fred McClean, Mike McClean and Butch Bain; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Radiant Church, 4020 Maizeland Road.

KENNETH C. BEERY
Mr. Beery, 90, died June 30, 2001, in Colorado Springs. He was a retired police officer and served in the Navy Seabees in World War II.
Mr. Beery was born March 12, 1911, in Colorado Springs to Augustus E. and Ida Roberts Beery, who are deceased. He was married Feb. 14, 1940, to Estelle Edinburgh.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Kent; a daughter, Pennysue Bendorf; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Cliff, Arlie and Dwight; and two sisters, Roberta Smith and Bonnie Beery.

ROBERT H. WALLS
Mr. Walls, 82, a former Colorado Springs resident, died June 24, 2001, in Lewes, Del. He served in the Air Force from December 1942 to March 1967, retiring as chief master sergeant.
Mr. Walls was born Aug. 8, 1918, in Leeves, Del., to William J. and Sallie (Messick) Walls, who are deceased. He was married to Viola Celia Wild, who is deceased.
He is survived by three sisters, Dorothy Reynolds, Sarah P. French and Mary Edna Best.

NATHANIEL MARK SCHEER JR.
Nathaniel, infant son of Nathaniel M. "Nate" Scheer and Elizabeth "Liz" Madrid, died June 22, 2001, in Colorado Springs.
Nathaniel was born June 22, 2001, in Colorado Springs.
He is survived by his parents; and his grandparents, Jeff and Sheri Scheer and Ruben and Carmen Madrid.

LAURENCE A. SOKOL
Mr. Sokol, 85, died July 1, 2001, at home in Colorado Springs. He was the owner of American Window Cleaning Company.
Mr. Sokol was born June 10, 1916, in Calhan to Andrew and Magdelena (Lemesany) Sokol, who are deceased. He was married July 20, 1957, to Isla May Pennington.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Dale Gibbs; a daughter, Judith Blake; a brother, Ralph; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Larry Vernon and Cecil Andrew, and a brother Kenneth.
Visitations will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday at Evergreen Funeral Home, 1830 E. Fountain Blvd., 475-8303. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at First Lutheran Church, 1515 N. Cascade Ave. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, 1000 S. 26th St.

MARVIN E. STOCK
Mr. Stock, 77, died June 26, 2001, in Colorado Springs. He worked at Kroger Company for 35 years, in Cincinnati and also served in the Army Aircorps for two years.
Mr. Stock was born March 16, 1924, in Murdoch, Ohio, to Verne and Irene (Walker) Stock, who are deceased. He was married Feb. 27, 1943, to Dorothy Jean Williams.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Ronald and Randall; a daughter, Sharon Lohr; a brother, Carl; two sisters, Myrna Campbell and Betty Bohn; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Beavon.

DOLORES A. GERATHY
Mrs. Gerathy, 88, died July 1, 2001, at a local hospital. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Gerathy was born March 14, 1913, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to John and Katie (Murphy) Ansbro, who are deceased. She was married Aug. 4, 1948, to Albert Joseph Gerathy, who is deceased.
She is survived by a son, Dr. Albert Joseph "Bud" Jr.; a brother, George Ansbro; and a sister, Kathlyn Wurts. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Dr. Raymond Ansbro, the Rev. John Ansbro and the Rev. Andrew Ansbro; and a sister, Madeline Ansbro.
