Mrs. Lojak, 79, died April 5, 2001, in Colorado Springs. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Lojak was born June 3, 1921, in Germany. She was married to Ewald P. Lojak, who is deceased.

She is survived by a daughter, Christa Margrave; a sister, Hilde Rancke; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Anna Singendon; and a grandson, "Tommy."

Services will be at 10 a.m. today at St. Mary's Cathedral, 22 W. Kiowa St. Inurnment will be in Falls Church, Va.

Pikes Peak Funeral and Cremation Services, 3825 Airport Road, 596-7991, is handling arrangements.

SUE HUME

Sue, 37, died April 7, 2001, at a local hospital from complications of diabetes. She was a four-color press operator.

Sue was born Nov. 1, 1963, in Nurnberg, Germany, to John E. and Keiko (Sasaki) Hume Jr.

She is survived by her parents; three brothers, John III, Michael and David H.; two sisters, Betty Marquis and Linda Brown; and her best friend, Diane Elwer.

Private services are pending. Dove-Witt Family Mortuary, 6630 S. U.S. Highway 85/87, Fountain, 390-4906, is handling cremation.

LENA ANN LAND

Mrs. Land, 63, died April 7, 2001, in Colorado Springs. She was retired from Bell Telephone, Mountain Bell and AT&T; in Denver and Colorado Springs.

Mrs. Land was born Nov. 26, 1937, in Portland, Ore., to John and Frances (Laura) Sanseri, who are deceased. She was married Oct. 29, 1960, to Richard Kenneth Land, who is deceased.

She is survived by two sons, Paul Scott and Stephen Kenneth; a brother, Santo Sanseri; a sister, Fina Mantia; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Francesca Marie Scott.

A rosary will be at 7 p.m. today at Swan Law Cascade Chapel, 501 N. Cascade Ave., 471-9900. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 6455 Brook Park Drive. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 3825 Airport Road.

RUTH MARY MEDRANO

Mrs. Medrano, 89, died April 7, 2001, at a local hospital. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Medrano was born Jan. 15, 1912, in southern Colorado, to Andres and Maria (Bueno) Hurtado, who are deceased. She was married to Candido Medrano, who is deceased.

She is survived by eight daughters, Evelyn Re Vello, Irene Medrano, Dora Milner, Dorothy Thomas, Gloria Boyer, Linda Rafter, Donna Lorane Romero and Rose Arlene Richmeier; six sons-in-law, Frank Re Vello, Michael Milner, Frank Thomas, Steve Boyer, John Albert Romero and Duane Richmeier; numerous nieces and nephews; 18 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Joe Hurtado, Seraphin Hurtado and Rumaldito Hurtado; and three sisters, Eva Casias, Louise Casias and Stella Hurtado.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., 634-1597. After the rosary, a reception will be at 1906 Mt. Vernon St. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 235 N. Convent St., Trinidad. Immediately after the Mass, burial will be at Trinidad Catholic Cemetery, Trinidad. After the burial, a luncheon will be at 1201 E. 6th St., Trinidad.

MARY K. KELLOGG

Mrs. Kellogg, 88, died April 8, 2001, at a local care center. She retired as a kindergarten teacher from School District 11 and was a homemaker.

Mrs. Kellogg was born Jan. 28, 1913, in Cordele, Ga., to Rud-olph and Katie (Hiebert) Klein, who are deceased. She was married June 6, 1942, to Lawrence M. Kellogg.

She is survived by her husband; three daughters, Barbara Kellogg of Evergreen, Carolyn Terry of Albuquerque, N.M., and Christine Brown of Pueblo West; two grandsons; and two granddaughters. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Orlando F. Klein and Raymond A. Klein; and two sisters, Alma Nees and Freda Brown.

Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., 634-1597. A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel of Roses. A coffee and tea reception will be at Olympian Plaza Reception and Event Center, 975 S. Union Blvd. Entombment will be at Shrine of Remembrance Mausoleum, Garden of Angels.

DAVID GREEN

Mr. Green, 64, a former Colorado Springs resident, died April 6, 2001, in Anacortes, Wash. He was retired. He was formerly vice president and general manager of SAES Getters USA from 1978 to 1996 and president of DDG Consulting from 1996 to 1998, both in Colorado Springs.

Mr. Green was born April 19, 1936, in Caterham, Surrey, England, to Thomas and Dorothy Mary Green, who are deceased. He was married April 28, 1962, to Ann Cragin.

He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Tracey Elizabeth Hudd of Seattle and Jennifer Green of London; and a brother, Jeffry, of Rugby, England.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Christ Episcopal Church, 1216 Seventh St., Anacortes. Inurnment will be at sea. Evans Funeral Home, 1105 32nd St., Anacortes, (360) 293-3311, is handling arrangements.

KHOA KIM "CHRIS" EVERETT

Ms. Everett, 60, died March 23, 2001, in Colorado Springs. She worked at Aspen Diversified Industries and previously at Hunan Dragon Restaurant.

Ms. Everett was born March 3, 1941.

No services are planned. Colorado Springs Mortuary and Cremation Services, 3475 Astrozon Court, 392-4144, handled arrangements.

E. AILEEN ROGERS

Mrs. Rogers, 78, a former Ca�on City resident, died April 7, 2001, at a local care center. She was a homemaker. She was also a bookkeeper and overseas clerk for many years at Cowan Moving and Storage.

Mrs. Rogers was born Nov. 5, 1922, in Marshfield, Mo., to William Edgar and Fannie Bell (Stutsman) Criger, who are deceased. She was married April 19, 1947, to James L. Rogers, who is deceased.

She is survived by a son, James L. Jr.; a daughter, Deborah A. Nitka; two brothers, Elmer Criger and Donald Criger; a sister, Nellie Troxil; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Thursday at Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., 634-1597. A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel of Roses. Entombment will be at Shrine of Remembrance, Gate of Heaven Mausoleum.

MILDRED M. "MITZI" NAU

Mrs. Nau, 82, died April 6, 2001, in Colorado Springs. She was a retired registered nurse.

Mrs. Nau was born Jan. 3, 1919, in Washington, Ohio, to Lewis and Edna (Gregory) Wright, who are deceased.

She is survived by a son, Jeffrey Bennett; a daughter, Nancy Ann Brooks; and five grandchildren. She is preceded in death by two sons, James Bennett and John.

Private services are planned.

BERYL L. PIERATT

Mrs. Pieratt, 59, died April 7, 2001, at a local care center. She was a home health aide, former manager of Bulldog Drive-in in Calhan and a custodian at Calhan School.

Mrs. Pieratt was born Oct. 29, 1941, in Torrence, Calif., to John Welch and Betty McMorris. Her father is deceased. She was married Jan. 22, 1982, to Randy W. Pieratt.

Mrs. Pieratt is survived by her husband; her mother; three sons, Dale Fox, Sam Fox and Curtis Fox; three daughters, Laura Bannister, Gail Hinermann and Lynn Hurst; three sons-in-law, Pete Bannister, Dwight Hinermann and Leon Hurst; a daughter-in-law, Cheri Fox; a brother, Johnnie Welch; two sisters, Gloria and Roberta; 17 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Pat.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Swan Law Funeral Directors, 501 N. Cascade Ave., 471-9900. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Living Word Community Church, 532 Colorado Ave., Calhan.

LORENE ANNE HILL

Mrs. Hill, 95, died April 1, 2001, at a local care center. She was a registered nurse and retired administrator of Lakewood Manor Nursing Home.

Mrs. Hill was born Oct. 1, 1905, in Groveland, Kan., to William and Alice Drake, who are deceased. She was married to Frank A. Hill, who is deceased.

Mrs. Hill is survived by a son, Bill; a sister, Elsie Gladstone; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from noon to 6 p.m. Thursday at Evergreen Funeral Home, 1830 E. Fountain Blvd., 475-8303. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Garden of the Gods Care Center, 104 Lois Lane. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 S. Hancock Ave.

ELSIE BLANKENBAKER

Mrs. Blankenbaker, 87, died April 6, 2001, at a local care center. She was a homemaker and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Mrs. Blankenbaker was born March 9, 1914, in Rosemont, Neb., to Ralph and Della (Riggens) Rose, who are deceased. She was married to Guy C. Blankenbaker, who is deceased.

Mrs. Blankenbaker is survived by a son, Gaylord; two daughters, Gloria Peck and Sharon Jackson; three brothers, Floyd Rose, Woodrow Rose and Kenneth Rose; a sister, Alvena Barnes; six grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jim, and a sister, Della Mae.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday at Pikes Peak Funeral Home, 3825 Airport Road, 536-7990. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 3825 Airport Road.

AGNES L. KERN

Mrs. Kern, 85, died April 6, 2001, at her home in Colorado Springs. She was a homemaker and an artist.

Mrs. Kern was born March 1, 1916, in Philadelphia, to Bernard and Agnes (McGovern) Gallagher, who are deceased. She was married June 3, 1939, to Russell Kern, who is deceased.

Mrs. Kern is survived by two sons, Russell and Richard; four daughters, Barbara Confer, Linda Rice, Judy Cramer and Lillian Kaslon; a brother, Gerald; two sisters, Helen and Rose; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
