JACK B. RYAN
Mr. Ryan, 59, died April 9, 2001, in Colorado Springs. He was a media personality in Colorado Springs and previously employed with KKTV for 16 years. He served in the Army and Army Reserves for 12 years.
Mr. Ryan was born Feb. 21, 1942, in Salt Lake City, to John E. and Dorothy J. (Tingey) Bowerbank, who are deceased.
He is survived by a brother, M. Ryan Bowerbank, of Concord, Calif.; and 10 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon J. Atwell.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Pikes Peak Funeral and Cremation Services, 3825 Airport Road, 596-7991. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 3825 Airport Road.
ANNA MARIE FITZGERALD
Anna, 83, died April 11, 2001, in Colorado Springs. She was a school teacher, teaching pre-school through high school.
Anna was born July 5, 1917, in Brady, Neb., to John Olaf and Tilda Jungren Hoagland, who are deceased.
She is survived by a son, Eddie, of Colorado Springs; three daughters, Marlene Fitzgerald, of Colorado Springs, Vicki Stryker, of Denver and Joyce Conger, of Colorado Springs; a brother, Earl Hoagland, of Brady; a sister, Agnus Johnson, of Gothenburg, Neb.; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Guignard.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Blunt Mortuary Chapel, 2229 W. Colorado Ave., 634-8831. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, 1000 S. 26th St.
MARTHA LOUISE (KEY) GOUGH
Mrs. Gough, 85, died April 11, 2001, in Colorado Springs. She was a teacher at Fountain and Fort Carson, School District 8.
Mrs. Gough was born May 7, 1915, in Murray, Ky., to James Oscar and Lena (Furchas) Key, who are deceased. She was married Sept. 24, 1936, to Galen H. Gough, who is deceased.
She is survived by a son, Wallace K.; a daughter, Jill Bryan; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, James Key; and three sisters, Hortense Barnes, Rela Robinson and Corinne Wilson.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Swan Law Funeral Directors, 501 N. Cascade Ave., 471-9900. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 2318 N. Cascade Ave. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 S. Hancock Ave.

JEAN M. (VIGO) DASUGO
Mrs. Dasugo, 43, died April 10, 2001, at a local hospital. She was a retail human resource manager at Kmart.
Mrs. Dasugo was born Sept. 26, 1957, in Germany, to Carlos and Helga Vigo. She was married Aug. 6, 1974, to Richard Dasugo.
She is survived by her husband; a son, Richard William Paul Jr.; her parents; two brothers, Louis Vigo and Carlos Vigo Jr.; and a sister, Linda Thompson.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Dove-Witt Fountain Valley Chapel, 6630 S. U.S. Highway 85/87, Fountain, 390-4906. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Dove-Witt Fountain Valley Chapel. Cremation is planned.
JANET ELEANOR (FRANTZ) DEMPSEY
Janet, 82, a former Colorado Springs resident, died April 10, 2001, in Denver. She was a homemaker. She attended the University of Minnesota.
Janet was born Oct. 18, 1918, in St. Paul, Minn.
She is survived by two daughters, Nancy Palm, of Denver and Janet Lachnidt, of Colorado Springs; a sister, Patricia Geary, of St. Paul; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

DALE ALBERT NUSSER
Mr. Nusser, 70, died April 11, 2001, in Colorado Springs. He retired in 1993 from Montgomery Wards. He served in the Navy from July 1950 to March 1954 and reenlisted December 1957 until June 1973.
Mr. Nusser was born May 19, 1930, in Manter, Kan., to Albert and Reno (Cramer) Nusser, who are deceased. He was married July 26, 1959, to Veronica Gleason.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Dale Leon; a daughter, Cindy; a brother, Harold; and three sisters, Frances Wait, Doris Messenger and Beverly Harding. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda; and a brother.

JEAN LEE MILLS
Mrs. Mills, 82, died April 10, 2001, in Colorado Springs. She was a marketing consultant.
Mrs. Mills was born April 23, 1918, in Lincoln, Neb., to William and Blanche (Lee) Shuler, who are deceased. She was married in 1947 to Robert Franklin Mills, who is deceased.
She is survived by a sister, Irma Kistiakowsky.

NELLIE M. BARTLEY
Nellie, 89, died April 8, 2001, in Colorado Springs. She was a maid.
Nellie was born July 31, 1911, in Cedar City, Mo., to Charles and Jane Bartley, who are deceased.
She is survived by a daughter, Mary M. Smith; a grandson, Marvin E. Reese and his wife, Damita Clausell-Reese; six great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, David R. Reese.

FRANCES M. (MANZANARES) ARAGON
Mrs. Aragon, 88, died April 8, 2001, at a local hospital. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Aragon was born Nov. 25, 1912, in San Rafael to Manuel and Adella Manzanares, who are deceased. She was married May 1, 1926, to Jacobo Aragon, who is deceased.
She is survived by a daughter, Irene Quintana; three brothers, Ben Manzanares, Willie Manzanares and Leo Manzanares; 23 grandchildren, including Lupe Rivera and her husband, Richard Rivera, with whom she lived; 42 great-grandchildren; 28 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a son, Joseph; and two daughters, Mary Ann Arroyo and Linda Hernandez.

FREDRICK DARRELL BURGESS
Mr. Burgess, 32, a Penrose resident, died April 8, 2001, at the Fremont County Airport in an airplane accident. He was a corrections officer and chaplains assistant for the United States Penitentiary in Florence. He was in the Air Force for nine years, serving in Korea, Turkey, England, the Persian Gulf War and at Peterson Air Force Base.
Mr. Burgess was born April 11, 1968, in Pineville, La., to Gilbert Burgess and Maxine Phillips. He was married May 24, 1999, to Fanny Emmy Spencer.
He is survived by his wife; his father; his mother; his stepfather, Ronald Chartier; two sisters, Dione and Verniki; two stepbrothers, Ronnie Chartier and Mark Chartier; a stepsister, Heather Chartier; a half-brother, Gilbert A.; two half-sisters, Gail Marshall and Latoria "Torie" Harvey; his maternal grandmother, Elnora Phillips; three nephews; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. today at the FCC Training Center, Florence. A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John's Baptist Church, 902 S. CARL MARTIN FINSTROM
Mr. Finstrom, 66, a former Colorado Springs resident, died April 7, 2001, at his home in Westcliffe. He worked as a drywaller until he moved to Westcliffe. He served in the Air Force for four years.
Mr. Finstrom was born Sept. 28, 1934, in Colorado Springs to Werner and Ina Finstrom, who are deceased.
He is survived by a brother, Eric A.; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Werner I.; and a sister, Sylvia Thorson.

KENNETH LEWIS COLLADO
Mr. Collado, 29, died April 6, 2001, in Colorado Springs from a motorcycle accident. He was an account manager.
Mr. Collado was born March 23, 1972, in the borough of Manhattan, New York City, to Vidal and Carmen Collado.
He is survived by two children, Kenneth Lewis and Kenrick Jovan; his parents; three brothers, Harold, Ernie and Vidal Jr.; and two sisters, Marta and Carolyn.
Services will be in Puerto Rico. Burial will be at Lajas Municipal Cemetery, Laja, Puerto Rico. Dove-Witt Family Mortuary, 6630 S. U.S. Highway 85/87, Fountain, 390-4906, is handling local arrangements.
WILLIAM "BILL" A. SCHMIDT
Mr. Schmidt, 93, died April 9, 2001, in Colorado Springs. He was a mechanic for Uniroyal Tires.
Mr. Schmidt was born May 1, 1907, in Colorado Springs to Joseph P. and Mary (Esterll) Schmidt, who are deceased. He was married April 9, 1928, to Leone A. Winkler, who is deceased.
He is survived by a daughter, Nadine Adams; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Robert W.; a brother, Maurice; a sister, Winifred Foulk; and a grandson, Gary W.

Mrs. Escobar, 83, died April 9, 2001, at her home in Colorado Springs. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Escobar was born March 13, 1918, in Lockhart, Texas, to Julio and Candelaria Escobar, who are deceased. She was married in 1933 to Rosalio S. Escobar.
She is survived by her husband; six sons, Joe, Gilbert, Florencio, Pete, Felix and Julio; six daughters, Sylvia Escobar, Mary Mestas, Clara Lopez, Lupe Olmos, Dominga Rodriguez and Rosa Ortiz; three sisters, Consuelo Rios, Juanita Delgado and Virginia; 59 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
