Mrs. Birch, 92, died Jan. 11, 2001, in Colorado Springs. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Birch was born May 15, 1908, in Methuen, Mass., to Richard and Elizabeth (Repley) Leach, who are deceased. She was married to Tom R. Birch, who is deceased.
She is survived by a son, Tom; a daughter, Joan Lee; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

LEONARD H. HARRIMAN
Mr. Harriman, 88, died Jan. 22, 2001, at a local hospital. He was a computer operator for Kraft Foods.
Mr. Harriman was born April 11, 1912, in Moore Township, Mich., to Hugh and Pearl (Kramp) Harriman, who are deceased. He was married May 7, 1966, to Avis E. Vandenburg, who is deceased.
He is survived by a step-son, Albert Storey; a brother, Clayton; a sister, Elizabeth; and several grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday at Swan Law Funeral Directors, 501 N. Cascade Ave., 471-9900.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Swan Law Cascade Chapel.
Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, 757 S. Santa Fe Ave., Fountain.
MARY A. HALEY
Mrs. Haley, 59, a former Colorado Springs resident, died Jan. 20, 2001, at an Oklahoma hospital.
She was an electronics technician for SCI Electronics Corp. in Colorado Springs until 1997 and worked as a supervisor for Gibson's Department Store in Duncan, Okla.
Mrs. Haley was born Aug. 21, 1941, in Colorado Springs to Russell and Verna (Bristol) Cox, who are deceased.
She was married to Dan Haley.
She is survived by her husband of Comanche, Okla.; two sons, Norman of Sanger, Texas, and Kevin of Walters, Okla.; two daughters, Carla Nuttall of Colorado Springs and Teresa Covert, of Comanche; two sons-in-law, Val Nuttall of Colorado Springs and Hal Covert of Comanche; two daughters-in-law, Diane of Sanger and Laura of Walters; two brothers, Bob Cox of Colorado Springs and Arthur Cox of the Navy; 18 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Lonnie D.
A private family memorial service will be at a later date.

BETTYE ANN SHERWOOD
Mrs. Sherwood, died Jan. 22, 2001, at a local care center. She was a former secretary for Alexander Film and for bowling leagues in Colorado Springs.
Mrs. Sherwood was born in Fort Smith, Ark., to George and Ruth (Bingley) Kaemmerling, who are deceased. She was married Aug. 2, 1947, to Irvin W. Sherwood.
She is survived by her husband; two sons, Scott and William "Bill"; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

MARIA C. "GRANDMA" JONES
Mrs. Jones, 100, died Jan. 22, 2001, in Colorado Springs. She was owner and operator of Maria's Mexican Restaurant.
Mrs. Jones was born Dec. 8, 1900, in Michochan, Mexico, to Graciano and Maria Lopez Miranda, who are deceased. She was married to Karl M.T. Jones, who is deceased.
She is survived by three sons, Chris Prado, John Aguilar and Antonio Aguilar; a daughter, Esther Ruiz; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a son, Jose Aguilar; and a brother, Ben.
Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. today at Blunt Mortuary, 2229 W. Colorado Ave., 634-8831. Funeral services will be Thursday and Friday at Berardinelli Funeral Home, Santa Fe, N.M. Burial will be at Sante Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe.
ALEX PAUL GROSKOPF
Alex, infant son of Carie Groskopf and Peter Carrello, died Jan. 21, 2001, in Colorado Springs.
Alex was born Jan. 21, 2001, in Colorado Springs.
He is survived by his parents; a brother, Timothy John; his grandparents, Ron and Sherry Jackson; and his grandfather, Don Groskopf.

EVELYN (DeFRATE) RICHARDSON
Mrs. Richardson, 89, died Jan. 19, 2001, in Colorado Springs. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Richardson was born July 15, 1911, in Schenectady, N.Y., to Ernest and Mary (Blake) DeFrate, who are deceased. She was married in 1930 to Howard Larsen Richardson, who is deceased.
She is survived by a son, Howard Jr.; two daughters, Andrene Harris and Marilyn Petrini; 11 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

PRIMO TREMAROLI
Mr. Tremaroli, 88, died Jan. 22, 2001, in Colorado Springs. He was a barber.
Mr. Tremaroli was born Aug. 8, 1912, in St. Benedetto, Italy, to Benedetto T. and Maria (Bruni) Tremaroli, who are deceased. He was married Sept. 1, 1932, to Angeline Mary Pancrazio, who is deceased.
He is survived by a son, Ben; a brother, Louis; a sister, Vandina Voelker; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Vitto, Frank and Fred.

ALONZO RAY SWISHER
Mr. Swisher, 93, died Jan. 22, 2001, at a local care center. He was a retired machinist.
Mr. Swisher was born July 6, 1907, in Wapela, Ill. He was married March 12, 1930, to Kathel Kimmel.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Gordon; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1035 Woodland Ave., Woodland Park. Mission Crematory, 930 S. Hancock Ave., 475-2169, is handling arrangements.

FLOYD FRANK HENRY
Mr. Henry, 77, died Jan. 20, 2001, in Colorado Springs. He was a driver with the city of Colorado Springs Street Department for more than 30 years.
Mr. Henry was born Jan. 11, 1924, in Hays, Kan., to Albert and Rose Marie (Wizer) Henry, who are deceased. He was married in 1948 to Esther Kunau, who is deceased.
He is survived by a son, Keith A.; a daughter, Janel Alberta Henry-Spriggs; a sister, Vera Roskos; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
A viewing will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Cappadona's Family Center, 3133 N. El Paso St., 520-1817, with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 S. Hancock Ave. A funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Cappadona's Family Center.

EVELYN O. (BELZONE) GERHARDT
Mrs. Gerhardt, 93, died June 21, 2001, at a local care center. She retired as a restaurant owner.
Mrs. Gerhardt was born Dec. 31, 1907, in Italy to Victor and Alessandrina Belzone, who are deceased. She was married to Arthur E. Gerhardt, who is deceased.
She is survived by a son, Richard M. Suriano; a daughter-in-law, Lois Suriano; and three grandsons, Michael, Jeffrey and Richard B.
Services will be at a later date in Loveland.
JULIE R. CARNES
Mrs. Carnes, 39, died June 20, 2001, at a local hospital. She was a loving wife and mother.
Mrs. Carnes was born June 26, 1961, in Northwood, N.D., to Thelmar B. and Maydell E. (Nygaard) Tveten. She was married in 1995 to Nicklus Forrest Carnes.
She is survived by her husband; her parents; her son, Shane Landa; and her daughter, Krystle Landa.
