ANGELINE E. VANDERBUR
Mrs. Vanderbur, 91, a former Colorado Springs resident, died Jan. 29, 2001, in Littleton. She was a retired pianist.
Mrs. Vanderbur was born May 5, 1909, in Blockton, Iowa, to Jesse and Bertha (Shapley) Wintermute, who are deceased. She was married Aug. 5, 1930, to Dale Vanderbur, who is deceased.
She is survived by two sons, Willard and Wayne; a brother, Hampton Wintermute; a sister, Gertrude Livingston; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister,
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Swan Law Funeral Directors, 501 N. Cascade Ave., 471-9900. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m Thursday at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 3825 Airport Road.

ROBERT SOMERS FRANCE
Mr. France, 73, died Jan. 27, 2001, in Colorado Springs. He was a banker and served in the Army for six years, attaining the rank of sergeant first class.
Mr. France was born Dec. 21, 1927, in Amsterdam, N.Y., to Roland Scott and Ruth Elizabeth (Lewis) France, who are deceased. He was married Dec. 16, 1951, to Marilyn Jones, who is deceased. He was then married Aug. 20, 1988, to Linda Larsen.
He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Linda Lopez, Sharon Bellotti and Kathryn France; two stepsons, Troy Graham and Tracey; three stepdaughters, Shelly Graham, Amy Graham and Becky Stevens; and 16 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three sons, Robert, Paul and Marvin.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 13975 Monument St., Calhan. Cappadona's Alternative Funeral Services, 3407 N. El Paso St., 520-1817, is handling arrangements.
CLORINA "CORA" GARCIA
Mrs. Garcia, 92, a former Colorado Springs resident, died Jan. 27, 2001, at a Westminster care center. She was retired.
Mrs. Garcia was born July 11, 1908, in Wagon Mound, N.M., to Elias and Rosalie (Garcia) Chavez, who are deceased. She was married Aug. 17, 1925, to Edward "Lalo" Garcia, who is deceased.
She is survived by two sons, Henry and Jim; eight daughters, Pauline Lopez, Rosie Garcia; Clara Lucero, Jo Ann Abeyta, Rita McDade, Diane Martinez, Sally Tabarez and Lilly Aragon; five sons-in-law, Chris Lopez, Charlie Abeyta, John McDade, Modesto Martinez and Terry Aragon; two daughters-in-law, Virginia and Tammy; two sisters, Theresa Quintana and Susan Alvarado; 40 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Edward Jr.; two sons-in-law, Simon Garcia and Alphonso Lucero; two brothers, Lee Chavez and Joe Chavez; a sister, Stella Romero; and a granddaughter, Cindy Lopez.
A rosary will be at 10:30 a.m. today with a Mass at 11 a.m. at La Junta Catholic Church, 202 Lincoln Ave. Burial will be at La Junta Cemetery, west of La Junta. Peacock-Larsen Funeral Home, 401 Raton Ave., La Junta, (719) 384-8777, is handling arrangements.
FLOYD LEON MEYER
Mr. Meyer, 75, a Colorado Springs resident, died Jan. 23, 2001, in Phoenix as a result of an automobile accident. He was a commercial building painter and served in the Navy.
Mr. Meyer was born Jan. 4, 1926, in Wichita, Kan. He was married Jan. 28, 1950, to Phyllis Fess-ler.
He is survived by his wife, of Colorado Springs; a son, Lee, of Colorado Springs; a daughter, Joan Dabbert, of Bailey; a son-in-law, Stephen Dabbert, of Bailey; a daughter-in-law, Karen, of Colorado Springs; and four grandchildren.
Services were held. Mesa Funeral Home Care at Mariposa Gardens, Mesa, Ariz., (480) 830-4422, handled arrangements.

HERBERT JOSEPH PERRY
Mr. Perry, 86, died Jan. 29, 2001, at a local hospital. He owned The Moccasin Tipi with his son, Charles. He retired as a captain from the Army after 25 years of service. He served in World War II and Korea.
Mr. Perry was born Dec. 27, 1914, in Penobscot, Maine, to Herbert Clifton and Mary Margaret Perry, who are deceased. He was married March 20, 1942, to Rose Theresa Flanagan.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Charles; three daughters, Mary Elizabeth Price, Rose Marie Watts and Barbara Ann Stockton; a brother, Harold Bernard; a sister, Cecilia Perry Simpson; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, James Robert; and a sister, Rose Estelle Lycette.
Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday at Nolan Funeral Home, 225 N. Weber St., 632-7608. A rosary service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday with a Mass at 11 a.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 2318 N. Cascade Ave. Burial will be private.

STEVEN P. LEYERLE
Mr. Leyerle, 34, died Jan. 29, 2001, at a local care center.
Mr. Leyerle was born Aug. 27, 1966, in Colorado Springs.
He is survived by his father, Darrell A. Leyerle; his stepfather, Mike Ford; his stepmother, Martha S. Leyerle; three brothers, Michael, William and Darrell "Dean"; three sisters-in-law, Sandra, Laurie and Ruth; and his grandmother, Vina Worth. He was preceded in death by his mother, Karen Ford.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Pikes Peak Funeral and Cremation Services, 3825 Airport Road, 596-7991. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Memorial Gardens Chapel, 3825 Airport Road.

OLIVE WILKINS GANTVOORT
Mrs. Gantvoort, 84, died Jan. 27, 2001, at her home in Colorado Springs. She was a retired secretary for Vocational Rehabilitation for the state of Colorado in Alamosa. She was a member of the P.E.O. Sisterhood.
Mrs. Gantvoort was born Nov. 6, 1916, in Estherville, Iowa, to Elmer and Lou Wilkins, who are deceased. She was married to Noble C. Gantvoort, who is deceased.
She is survived by three daughters, Karen Morsch; Terry Gantvoort and Kelly Morand; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

FRANK TAYLOR RICHARDS
Mr. Richards, 85, died Jan. 26, 2001, in Colorado Springs. He retired as a purchasing agent from the Air Force Academy and served in the Navy.
Mr. Richards was born Nov. 22, 1915, in Garland, Wyo., to Lee N. and Myrtle M. Taylor Richards, who are deceased. He was married to Frances Foster.
He is survived by his wife; several nieces and nephews; a grandchild; a great-grandchild; and two great-great-grandchildren.

WILLIAM W. "BILL" SNYDER
Mr. Snyder, 67, died Jan. 26, 2001, in Colorado Springs. He was co-owner of Manpower Services Franchise and previously was a Colorado Springs City Council member. He served in the Air Force for four years.
Mr. Snyder was born Oct. 13, 1933, in Glasgow, Ky., to Milton F. Snyder Sr. and Elizabeth (White) Bernard, who are deceased. He was married March 23, 1968, to Anita Taylor.
He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Kristi A.; and two brothers, Roy and Milton F. Jr., both of Kentucky.
A celebration of life service, with a reception, will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at El Paso Club, 30 E. Platte Ave. Mountain View Mortuary, 2350 Montebello Square Drive, 590-8922, is handling arrangements.

MARIA DELALUZ LIVINGSTON
Mrs. Livingston, 47, died Jan. 26, 2001, in Colorado Springs as a result of an automobile accident. She was a customer contact representative for Protocol and also worked for Current Inc. as a data entry representative. She served in the Navy from Aug. 23, 1973, to Feb. 22, 1977.
Mrs. Livingston was born Sept. 16, 1953, in Fabens, Texas, to Candelario and Ramona Juarez. Her father is deceased. She was married Aug. 31, 1973, to Loran E. Livingston.
She is survived by her husband; a son, Jason E.; a daughter, Amber L.; her mother; two brothers, Ernesto Juarez and Candelario Juarez Jr.; and four sisters, Ana Marie Lunez, Amelia Ayala, Alicia Mendoza and Susana Gandara.
A rosary service will be at 6 p.m. Thursday at Nolan Funeral Home, 225 N. Weber St., 632-7608. A memorial Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of the Woods Catholic Church, 116 S. West St., Woodland Park. Burial will be at Woodland Park Cemetery, Short and Baldwin streets, Woodland Park.

SAWAKO (SHIGEMITSU) OKAWA
Mrs. Okawa, 90, died Jan. 27, 2001, at a local hospital. She was a retired hospital cook.
Mrs. Okawa was born July 8, 1910, in Kahuku, Oahu, Hawaii, to Katsutaro and Tsuruyo Shigemitsu, who are deceased. She was married Nov. 3, 1933, to Hiromu Okawa, who is deceased.
She is survived by six daughters, Beverly Hill, Lynett Wedaa, Marilyn Furlong, Wanda Okawa, Rae Sadar and Roberta Cartier; a brother, Thomas Shigemitsu; two sisters, Tsuruko Kubota and Ritsuko Sanjume; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

RET. COL. WARREN S."JOE" WHEELER
Col. Wheeler, 85, died Jan. 28, 2001, at a Florence care center as a result of natural causes. He became an aviation cadet in the Army Air Corps in 1939 and retired as a colonel from the Air Force in 1966 after 27 years.
Col. Wheeler was born July 15, 1915, in Lee County, S.C., to Warren and Mary (McCall) Wheeler, who are deceased. He was married in June 1973 to Marie E. Williams, who is deceased.
He is survived by a stepson, Robert A. Moorhead; and three stepdaughters, Carol J. Babcock, Kathy A. Orff and Patricia L. Schelter.

Mr. Laganas, 72, died Jan. 27, 2001, at his home in Colorado Springs. He served in the Army.
Mr. Laganas was born May 19, 1928, in Lynn, Mass., to George and Mary (Demeles) Laganas, who are deceased. He was married Jan. 27, 1951, to Jeanette Tomassi.
