IAN BARCLAY STUART It is with love and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our loving husband, father and grandfather, Ian Barclay Stuart on August 9, 2004 after a courageous battle with cancer. Ian died peacefully with his family by his side and surrounded by love. Left behind to cherish his memory are his devoted wife Loretta; children, Sandra, Kim and Kelly (Brent); as well as grandchildren, Alyssa, Taryn, Brett and Taylor; brother Alan and numerous relatives and very close friends. Ian was born icon in Winnipeg on October 31, 1931 and spent most of his early years in River Heights and summers at Victoria Beach. Everyone knew Ian was an honest, hard working man even as a young boy delivering telegrams, selling newspapers or working at his family owned business at Western Packers Meat Plant. He later settled in a career at MTS and retired after 42 years of service as a Manager of Network Engineering. MTS is also where Ian met his wife Loretta and August 10, 2004 he would have celebrated his 42nd wedding anniversary. Ian was a chartered member of the Fife and Drum and was also a member of the Scottish Rite, Free Masons, Army, Navy and Air Force Veterans Unit 283. Ian was also Manpower Chairman for the Khartum Shriners, Circus Management. Ian enjoyed family vacations and went on many road trips. JOHANNES TIMMERMAN

August 11, 2004

JOHANNES (JOHN) TIMMERMAN September 21, 1921 - August 6, 2004 Papa John, Pappie, Johannes, Dad, grandpa, great-grandpa... no matter how you knew him, you knew he was a good man. As a dad, he cared and provided for his family. His efforts helped build a good home whose doors were always open to family and friends alike. Dad was born icon in Holland in 1921, the ninth of eleven children. During the War years, John was deported to a labour camp where he met his beloved wife with whom he would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary next year. In 1955 he and his family immigrated to Canada where he would eventually work with Metropolitan Construction and then Qualico where he served as superintendent of plumbing and heating. John was a hard worker and a valued employee until his retirement. Much of his retirement allowed him the time to read, follow sports, relax and he loved the opportunity to spend time with his family. John was also a man who contributed to his community in a number of ways. He was a church council member at St. Casimir's Catholic Church, he volunteered many hours to the Lithuanian community and he was a gold drop recipient as a blood donor. Most importantly, John was a person who was honest and honourable, loving and caring. His support as a father, his joy of life, and his trusting good nature made him an unforgettable and special man. John is survived by his wife Tekle; his daughter Imeke (Jeff Kerr) and children John (Christine), David and Charlene; his son Algirdas and children Stephanie (Stewart Brick) and great-grandchild Zoe, Algirdas Jr. and Daniel, special friend Kendra; his son Marijus, wife Jennifer Moroz and child Lukas; as well as a large extended family in Holland. August 11, 2004

GRANT EARL YETMAN June 3 1955 - August 6 2004 Sadly on Friday, August 6, 2004 the passing of Grant Earl Yetman drastically altered the lives of so many people. Grant was a wonderful and generous person who took pride in absolutely everything that he did. This included the family business Yetman's Ltd. where he worked endless hours to ensure that everything was running smoothly. There is not an employee there that does not care for him and respect him. He was also a devoted member of St. John's Sportsmens Club and took great pride in doing the cabin bookings and being involved with the club and all of its great members. Daddy loved to spend his extra time building jumps for my sport, equestrian so the other riders and I could continue to improve. Daddy had a dream of watching me compete at Spruce Meadows. Grant was such an amazing man who is loved and always will be loved by anyone who had the honour of getting to know him. Grant has had so many positive and amazing influences in so many peoples lives, always encouraging dreams and goals no matter how far-fetched they may seem, and having faith and encouraging words when those dreams seemed so far away. He never gave up on anything or anyone, and you could count on him for absolutely anything and he would never let you down. He was an extraordinary person and not to mention he was the best father, husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend that anybody could ever have dreamed of. He loved more than anything spending time with his family whether it was on a vacation in Florida, fishing in the Whiteshell with his dad or just sitting at home talking about anything there was to talk about. Grant will forever be missed by so many people. Grant is survived by his loving wife Mona, daughter Jaclyn (or J.R. as he liked to say), and family dog Lacey. As well as his two wonderful parents, Earl and Dolores; brothers, Norman (Lynne), and Keith; "L'il Sis" Carolyn (Mark); and his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Daddy 'O', you have a smile and laugh that could light up the very darkest of my days. You are beautiful. I love you and miss you so much. You are the best Daddy in the world and you always will be.
