ETHEL GRAY TIMLICK Peacefully, in her sleep, Ethel Timlick passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2003 at Fred Douglas Lodge, at the age of 91. She is survived by her one son Tom (Shirley) of Winnipeg and six grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Jason in 1985. At Ethel's request a private family service has taken place. The family would like to thank the staff of the Willow Unit at Fred Douglas Lodge for their loving care of my mother. ELEANOR UNRAW On Monday, January 27, 2003, at the St. Boniface Hospital, with her family by her side, Eleanor Unraw, widow of the late Jacob, died at the age of 76 years. BARBARA WARZEL Peacefully, with her family by her side, on Monday, January 27, 2003, Barbara Warzel, aged 68 years, passed away at the Seven Oaks Hospital. Barbara was predeceased by her husband Marian in 1997, and her parents Josef and Balbina Bawiec. Barbara is survived by her two sons, Mark, Tony and wife Susan; granddaughters, Monica and Andrea; sister Zosia and husband Ignac Szelazek; niece Joanna and husband Ramin and son Brian Hamedani; nephew Paul Szelazek; sister Elizbieta; brothers, Stanislaw and wife Matylda, Bronislaw, Fr. Boleslaw, Ryszard and wife Barbara; as well as numerous nephews, nieces, family and friends in Winnipeg and Poland. Barbara was a loving and generous person who worked hard all her life. She will be remembered for her strong faith, and her willingness to help others. Barbara's greatest joy came from spending time with her family and friends. She also took great pleasure in her baking and will be missed for her perogies that were enjoyed by many. Throughout her life, Barbara enjoyed travelling to visit her many friends and relatives. Barbara's greatest pleasure was her granddaughters. She loved taking care of them and attending their many activities. Babcia could always be counted on to provide her support and encouragement. She will be missed by many. Prayers will be said at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 29 at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 30 at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Ave with an Oblate Father officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Barbara's memory to the St. Amant Centre, 440 River Rd., Winnipeg, MB R2M 3Z9. ROBERT (BOBBY) BEAN It is with sadness we announce the passing of Bobby on January 30, 2003 after a lengthy illness. He was predeceased by his father Norman in 1989 and mother Kathleen (Kelly) in 1996. Left to cherish his memory are brothers, Jim (Jan), Donald (Lorraine) of Teulon, Richard of Balmoral and sister-in-law Margaret of Winnipeg; nephews, Donald, Darryl (Janice) Taylor and Grayson, Darcy (Chrisy) Jordan; nieces, Catharine of Winnipeg and Karen of Edmonton; many aunts, cousins and friends. In accordance with the family wishes, cremation has already taken place and no memorial service will be held. In lieu of a service there will be an Open House Sunday, February 9 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at 3010 King Edward St. to honour Bobby's memory. JOHN (JACK) BEAUCHAMP With great sadness the family announces the passing of their husband, father and grandfather, Jack Beauchamp on Monday, February 3, 2003 at St. Boniface Hospital. He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife of 44 years, Joan; daughters, Donna, Karen (Bob) Milani and Patti (Hub) Berube; six grandchildren, Matt Beauchamp, Ashleigh and Braden Milani and Jenna Stephanie and Evan Berube; brothers, Ken (Rhoda) of Leduc, AB, Cal (Helen) of Woodlands, MB; sister Shirley Krychuk of Argyle, MB; brother-in-law Reg (Aenone) Studler of Woodlands, MB, as well as many nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by his faithful companion "Spike." Jack was predeceased by his parents, Bill and Liz Beauchamp; in-laws, John and Rose Studler; brothers, Raymond and Herb and brother-in-law William "Doc" Krychuk. Dad was born
on July 3, 1929 in Winnipeg and grew up in Woodlands, MB. He married Joan Studler on July 19, 1958 and settled in Winnipeg. Jack was in the vacuum repair business for 34 years, opening City Vacuum Service in 1960 and later became owner and operator of Osborne Vacuum from 1981, until his retirement in 1994. He was involved with the South Fort Rouge Business and Professional Association and the Golden Rule Seniors Monday Night Bingo. He enjoyed baseball and hockey in his younger years and later hunting, fishing and golf. He was a member of the Heather Game and Fish Association for many years. During his retirement he enjoyed travelling to Mesa, Arizona. His favourite pastime was cheering on his grandchildren at their many sporting events. The family wishes to thank the staff at 5A South at St. Boniface Hospital, and we thank all of our family, friends and co-workers for their concern, help and support. Special thanks to Bud Phillips for the Saturday afternoon coffee breaks at Robin's and to Norm and Terry Mann for all their love and support. Husband of Marion for 54 years and father of Lisa (Gary Benner), Peter (Renate) and the late Philip (Isla). Grandfather of David and Laura, Stephen and Kaitlyn. Brother of the late Peter (Yvonne), the late Thomas (Karolyn) and Bruce (Maxine). Jack, Chartered Accountant FCA, retired as Treasurer of United Grain Growers in 1987. He was a longtime member of the Kiwanis Club of Winnipeg and an active volunteer in the community. MARIE CAPP December 19, 1920- February 3, 2003 In the early evening, Monday, February 3, our gentle angel, left for a "Garden of Beauty," where pain and suffering never exist. Marie will be cherished forever by her husband, Michael and son Ron and many relatives and friends. She will be remembered for her smile, deep affection to family and always willing to help, a true role model to motherhood and a wife.
