HORST, JOEL - At the Freeport Health Centre in Kitchener on Friday, August 8th, 2003 in his 33rd year. Beloved son of Janice Krupp and John and Jean Horst. Dear brother of Jay Horst (Shelley), Richard Van Dyk, Paul Van Dyk, Kim Horst, Sarah Van Dyk and Serena Van Dyk. Beloved grandson of Manny and Edith Horst and Norman Krupp. Special friends of Mauro, Vince, Chris and friends at Christian Horizons. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers Fredric, Jonathan and his grandmother Betty Krupp. A memorial service will take place at the Corbett Funeral Home Chapel, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge on Tuesday, August 12th, 2003 at 2p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Cancer Society or Christian Horizons would be appreciated by the family.

JONES - On Friday, August 8, 2003, Ross Bernard Jones, Grenfell, Sask. passed away at the age of 70 years. Ross was predeceased by his wife, Lorna (Smith) Jones in 1998; his parents, Fred Jones in 1960 and Kate (Parcey) Jones in 1967 and one sister Evelyn Welch in 1988 and is survived by his daughters: Debra (Gord) Hasay, Edmonton, AB; Linda Felt, Grenfell; son Raymond (Kathy) Jones, Rosetown, SK.; five grandchildren and one great grandchild; two sisters, Belva (George) Hubbard, Grenfell and Geraldine Mucha, Regina and several nieces and nephews. A family graveside service will be held Tuesday, August 12, 2003.

DYCK - Mrs. Mary, passed away on Friday, September 26, 2003, at the age of 86. Surviving are her granddaughter, Heather Campbell; daughters, Ruth (Ian) Wilson, and Karin (Ken) Campbell and their daughters, Kyra (Cam) and Amy (Greg); sisters-in-law, Katherine, Marie, and Sara; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mary was predeceased by her husband Gerhard (George) in 1988. Flowers are gratefully declined. Relatives and friends wishing to pay their respects may do so at Bethany Manor (110 La Ronge Road) on Friday, October 3, 2003, at 1:30 pm, with Pastor Howard Ulmer and Pastor Terry Zimmerly officiating. ERICKSON - Accidently on Monday September 29, 2003 came with great sadness the passing of Kenneth ""Oli"" Erickson of Sandy Beach, Sask. Oli is survived by his loving wife Geraldine (nee Kambeitz) daughter Vanessa and Noel Gaveronski; grandchildren Scott & Cameron. Son, Wes & Susan Erickson & grandchildren Colin & Nicole and son, Josh Erickson. He will be sadly missed by sisters Elaine & Ralph Andreasson, Diane Erickson and Brother Milt & Audrey Erickson, Mother in law Anne Kambeitz. Oli was born in Scotsgaurd, Sask, attended Athol Murray College of Notre Dame, he was an educator for 32 years retiring from Ranch Ehrlo in 1999. Oli had a zest for life in all his endeavors coming through in his hockey ""Oli the Goalie"" teaching, Ireland marathon, teaching in China and camaraderie with his wide circle of friends. Funeral Services will be at Sacred Heart Church on Friday, October 3 at 10:30 a.m. in Lebret, SK with Rev. I. Gorski officiating. Donations may be made to Sacred Heart Church at Lebret.

Predeceased by her husband, Donald; parents, Thomas and Emma Clark; son Clark Andrew in infancy; four brothers, Vincent, George, Wilbert and Irvin Clark; two sisters, Ruth Totton and Nina Wood; granddaughter, Darcy Ann Marr. MCNAMEE - MAE McNAMEE (NEE: LEFLAR) Aged 91 years of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, passed away on Sunday, September 28th, 2003. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 4th, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. in Parkview Funeral Chapel with Reg McKee as speaker. Burial will take place at a later date in Bengough Cemetery. Mae was predeceased by her two sons: Jackie in 1938 and Donald in 1994; her parents, Stewart and Clara Leflar and 4 brothers: Albert, Kenneth, Robert, and Richard. Mae is survived by her special friend of 50 years, Arnold Pederson of Moose Jaw; 9 nieces and nephews: Dale (Jo) Leflar, Donna (Bob) Gerrard, Larry (Ila) Leflar, Douglas (Judy) Leflar, Faye (Virgil) Wilson, Gwen McGurk, Bonnie (Andy) Laturnus, Joyse Gilbert, Keith (Gail) Leflar; and numerous other family members. Mae was born on February 26th, 1912 and was raised on the family farm in Bengough. Mae enjoyed a career of 22 years at the Valley View Centre in Moose Jaw. As part of the Living Legacy Planting Program, Parkview Funeral Chapel will have a tree planted in Wakamow Valley in Mae's memory. GETTEL, HEINRICH (HENRY) - May 27, 1927 December 9, 2003, husband, father and grandfather, late of Regina, passed away peacefully on Tuesday December 9, 2003. Dad worked at various jobs in his lifetime and retired after working 25 years at the City of Regina. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Elfrieda; daughters Marita Bens, grandsons Jeffery, Jeremy and Jonathan Bens, daughter Susan Gettel (Tracy Bureau) and granddaughter Amber. He is also survived by various relatives in Canada and Europe.
