FEDERLE - Klemens Federle of Melville Saskatchewan, formerly of Regina, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 2, 2005 at St. Peter's Hospital in Melville. He was 62 years of age. Prayer Services will be held on Thursday March 3, 2005 at 7:30 p.m. from St Henry's Roman Catholic Church in Melville Saskatchewan. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday March 4, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Henry's Church. Interment at St. Henry's Parish Cemetery. He leaves to mourn his passing his children, Dean Federle, Michelle Krystanick, Fred (Debbie) Federle, Clemens Federle, and Tammy (Bill) Federle all of Regina. His former wife Pat Federle of Regina; one brother and four sister. Memorials may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan Lung Association. FICKEN - On Monday, February 28, 2005, Helmut J. Ficken, beloved husband of Evelyn Ficken, Kipling, Sask., died at the age of 82 years. The funeral service will be held in Christ Lutheran Church, Kipling, Sask. on Friday, March 4, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Tim Zacharias officiating. Cremation with interment at a later date. Helmut was predeceased by his mother, Anna Maria Ficken in 1974; his father John Ficken in 1984 and is survived by his wife Evelyn; two sons: Jim (Terry) Ficken and Paul (Cindy Balogh) Ficken, all of Kipling, Sask.; his grandchildren: Anthony (Carrie), Jesse (Angela), Derek, Adam, Jolene and his great-grandchildren; one sister, Erica (Stan) Blackwell, Regina, Sask. and her family, Pat (Doug) Myers, Alana (Bob) Pipko and Ron Blackwell and numerous other nieces and nephews. GEORGE ALBERT FORSYTHE February 2, 1926 - March 1, 2005 Al passed away peacefully at the Pasqua Hospital on March 1, 2005. Al was predeceased by his loving parents, infant son Tracy, brother William and sister Kay Shorten. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 53 years, Phyllis, children: Janet (Kevin) Hunter, Tim (Doreen) and Heidi, grandchildren: Dale, Sarah, Bonnie, Kelly, Gayle, Nicole, Shane, and Daniel, great grandchildren: Bailey-ann and Alexa, sisters: Mauvie (Andy) Homes of Regina, Jean (Glenn) Froome, Marg Potter, brother: David Forsythe all of Calgary, AB as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Al was born and raised in Regina, SK. He was a veteran of World War II, and he worked for CP Express for 40 years. A CELEBRATION OF AL'S LIFE will be held at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East, Regina, SK on Friday, March 4, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. Flowers gratefully declined. HUGIE - With deep sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Charlie Hugie, at home on Tuesday, March 1, 2005, at the age of 76 years, after a long battle with cancer. Charlie conducted his battle with the same courage and humour that infused his life. Charlie was raised in the Serath District and farmed there from the time of his marriage to Mary in 1956 until retiring to Regina in 2003. Devoted to his family and community, Charlie enriched and inspired the lives of his own children and countless others through his untiring work for minor hockey and his leadership of the Serath 4-H Light Horse Club. Despite the demands on his time of his farm and a large family, Charlie could always make time to help a neighbour or volunteer in many capacities; with good will and great humour that charmed strangers and delighted his friends. Predeceased by his parents, Anton and Katherine and by his infant children Raymond and Elaine, Charlie leaves to mourn his beloved wife Mary; children Robert (Karen), Gary, Greg (Sherry), Tim (Paula), Tammy (Dean) and Rick (Shannon); and by grandchildren Colin, Charlie, Katelyn, Peyton, Lyndsay and Kameron; as well as brothers Arthur (Wilma), John (Esther) and Frank and sister Marion Schmalenberg. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. in Sacred Heart RC Church, Raymore, SK with Rev. Peter Thang Nguyen, officiating. Prayers will be said Friday, March 4, 2005 at 7:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Lee Funeral Home, 3101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK. LEIBEL - ERNEST was born in the Glenavon region to his parents George and Lydia Leibel, one of 12 children. He is survived by Betty (Henry) and Ervin (Margaret). He passed away suddenly on March 1, 2005 at the age of 66 years after a lengthy battle with chronic pain and poor health. He is survived by his children Tina, Rodney, Gloria (Joe) and Margaret (Kelly); grandchildren, great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews that loved him and will miss him dearly. For the past 14 years he has remained with his spouse Darlene Shiu who grieves him, along with her family, his little "Teya " and his faithful companion Rusty. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, March 6, 2005 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at Victoria Avenue Funeral Home, 2080 East Victoria Ave., Regina, SK. BRADFORD - Mrs. Alice Bradford passed away peacefully at Chateau St. Michael Care Home on Wednesday, March 30, 2005 at the age of 94 years. Alice was born January 11, 1911 to Albert and Alice Voisey on the family farm at Bridgeford, Sask. It was there that she grew up before going to Normal School and becoming a teacher. It was while teaching that she met her future husband, Fred Bradford. They were married on November 10, 1935. Alice had a deep love for her Savior, her family and nature. She is predeceased by her parents; brother, Albert; sisters, Anne McNairn, Violet Neal, and Margaret Reid; father and mother-in-law, Bowyer and May Bradford; numerous brothers and sisters-in-law; two nephews and two nieces. Alice leaves to mourn her passing, her loving husband of 69 years, Fred; sons: Mel (Ferne), Doug (Karen), Lyle (Louise), and Cecil (Nancy); grandchildren: Denise (Lonnie) Smith, Kelvin (Lori) Bradford, Lynne (Jim) Kosma, Colin Bradford, Wendy Bradford (Darren Mitchell), Wayne (Heather) Bradford, Mark (Danneilia) Bradford, Neil Bradford, Andrew Bradford, Kara Lee (Stacy) Lund, and Kara Lee's mother, Kathy Bradford; sixteen great-grandchildren; sister, Mildred Colwell; brother, Jim (Mona) Voisey; sister, Marion (Egon) Neilson; sisters-in-law, Torchy Voisey, Esther Bradford and Thelma (Harold) Dunn; brother-in-law, Bud (Irene) Bradford; many nieces and nephews; and many friends. DAVID - JULIUS (JAY) With extreme sadness we announce the passing of Julius (Jay) David. Born in Lipton, Saskatchewan in 1916. Survived by loving wife of 66 years, Laura. Will be missed by daughter Marcia and Harvey Resnick, son Doug, grandchildren Carl, Jody, Joey and Merrick (Pussycat) and four great grandchildren. Also survived by sister Babe and Marvin Lasky of California. He played professional football for the Saskatchewan Roughriders, was a member of B'Nai Birth, Congregation Beth El and worked in retail for many years. Services were held Monday, March 28th at 11:00 a.m. at the Rachel Kaplan Hebrew Memorial Chapel, 675 Aylmer Ave. Rabbi Jeffrey Ableser officiated. Shiva will be observed at the family home, services at 8:00 p.m. through Wednesday. The family would like to thank Dr. Ing and the staff on 2 South Peach at Malden House, Dr. Winston Rashkumar, Dr. Richard Tan and the I.C.U. staff at Metropolitan Hospital for their loving care and a special thanks to Piroska (Libby) for all her help.
