DREBIT - Martha passed away suddenly in Regina on November 29, 2004 at the age of 79 years. Martha is survived by her husband George, and her daughter Helen (Reg) and their children Dallas and Logan; daughter Shelley and her children Matthew and Sabrina; three sisters and one brother; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Audrey was predeceased by her father Julius Maertens and husband John P. JOSEPH AUGUST BENTZ - Bentz, Joseph August, born Aug. 15, 1935, passed away peacefully on Jan. 31, 2005, with his family by his side, after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 69. He was predeceased by his mother Martha, father Philip, sister Katherine, father-inlaw Steve Bulka Sr., brother-in-law Herman Schultz, sister-in-law Josie Bentz. He is survived by Mary, his loving wife of 47 years; daughters, Brenda (Tom) Perkin, Michael, David and Kristine, Karla (Gary) Eckel, Tyson, Jordan & Steven; sons, Logan, Blair (Lorie), Colin, Brendon, Caitlin, Courtney & Kelsey, Bradley (Denise), Dylan, Braden, Damian & Blaze; one brother George (Mary Jane); 3 sisters, Helen (John) Senft, Phyllis (Garry) Horn, Hilda (Ron) Stagg; 4 brothers-in-law, Joe (Margaret) Bulka, Steve (Maria) Bulka, George (Dorothy) Bulka, Frank (Shirley) Bulka; 3 sisters-in-law, Anne Eggleston, Yolanda Schultz, Elizabeth (Garry) Macza; mother-in-law Rose Bulka; many nieces and nephews. Joe grew up and farmed in the Dickens district until 1991 when they moved to Punnichy. He still helped with the farming and pursued his passion of buying, raising and training horses. A visitation will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 4, 2005, at St. Albert Church in Punnichy. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, Feb. 5, 2005, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Albert Church in Punnichy SK with Fr. Peter Thang Nguyen celebrant. Interment to follow at Punnichy Cemetery. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of St. Joseph's Integrated Care Facility for the wonderful care Joe received during his illness. CAMPBELL - With deep sorrow, we announce the death of Glen Miller Campbell on February 1st, 2005 in Regina. Born on September 23, 1916 in Avonlea, SK, he was the third of seven children born to Sandy and Eva Campbell. He grew up on the family farm and attended Sunshine School. Glen was a natural athlete throughout his entire life, playing ball, rugby, hockey, curling, golf, shuffleboard and tennis. After Grade 12, Glen went to the University of Saskatchewan obtaining his Accounting Degree and Chartered Accountant's Designation in 1942. With the outbreak of World War II, Glen navigated RCAF bombers stationed in York, England and Aberdeen, Scotland. He met his sweetie, Fern Hagerty, farm daughter and Registered Nurse on the ice skating rink in Moose Jaw. They married in April 1946. Shortly after, Glen and his brothers led a team of 21 young men who custom combined wheat harvests from Texas to the Dakotas. In the spring of 1947 Glen attended his first of six Canadian Curling Championships, winning the MacDonald Brier in 1955 with brothers Garnet, Lloyd and Don. Over the years, his other curling mates were father Sandy, brother Gordon, Jack Keys and Bob Pickering. Glen was a 25-year Registered Seed Grower in the Pense district from 1950-1995 and a Founding Director of the Palliser Wheat Growers Assocation. He and Fern moved permanently to Regina in 1975 and started wintering in Texas. Glen lost Fern in 1985. He was blessed to have two special women in his life when he met Elsie Teulon. They continued to winter in Texas together, collecting many shuffleboard and golf trophies. He continued ""balancing the books"" for his relatives until his 88th birthday. Glen was predeceased by wife Fern, parents Sandy and Eva, brother Don, sister Verna and her husband Bill Evans, and Lloyd's wife, Wilma Campbell. Poppa will be sorely missed by children Doug (Irene) Campbell, Cochrane, AB; Glenys (Rand) McIntyre, Regina; James Campbell (Steve Stellenwerf), Houston, TX; and his loving companion Elsie Teulon; brothers Lloyd, Pense, Garnet (Deverne) and Gordon, Avonlea; sister Margaret (Archie) Smith, Boulder, CO; sister-in-law Grace Campbell, Toronto; and brotherand sisterin-law Ray and Anna Hagerty, Moose Jaw, as well as numerous nieces and nephews; Grandchildren Keith, Ross and Jennifer Campbell, Lindsay and Brandon McIntyre. Heartfelt thanks go out to Dr. Abdulhadi, Dr. Gorman, Dr. Bradel, Dr. Clein, staff of the Renal and CRI Unit, Palliative Home Care and William Booth Palliative Wing Staff. Funeral Services will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina on Saturday, February 5, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Flowers gratefully declined. Those wishing to do so, may give to the Kidney Foundation of Canada-Regina Chapter, or William Booth Wascana Grace Hospice. GOODWIN, SYBIL - It is with sadness, the family announces the passing of Sybil Goodwin (nee Henfrey), age 91, on February 1, 2005. Sybil was born April 14, 1913 on the family farm at Bulyea. Sybil was predeceased by her husband Bill, her parents Ellen and Christopher Henfrey, brothers Glydon (Irene), Laurie (Grace), Alga and Sam, sisters Betty, Cassie (Herb), Olga (Ambrose), Louie, Nora (Pete), Viola, one grandson Robin, and daughter-in-law Dora, She leaves to mourn her daughter Barbara (Einar) Thompson, son George (Shirley), 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, sister-in-law Kathleen, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, February 7, 2005 at 2 PM from Bulyea Hall. Sybil was a kind and generous person will be missed dearly. The family would like to give heartfelt thanks to the staff at Nokomis Health Centre, Last Mountain Pioneer Home and the homecare girls who enabled grandma to stay in her own home as long as she was able. BOURASSA - Audrey Elaine passed away peacefully Friday, March 4, 2005, in Regina at the age of 56. She was predeceased by her father Oliver Dokken, her husband Emile Bourassa, and her brother Marlo Dokken. Audrey is survived by her mother Louise Dokken; her four loving children Vivian (Terry) Gatzke, Randy (Penny) Bourassa, Paula (Jarrett) Rusnak and Twyla Griesser; her five grandchildren (John, Chase, Matthew, Evan, Jasmine); her sisters, Beverly, Marlene, Yvonne, Doreen, Elsie and their families, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. From the family, a special thanks goes to the Regina General Hospital ICU and Audrey's special care givers, including Norma, Nicole and Sharon.
