KOCH - Bernice Elizabeth (nee Kiesel), longtime resident of Pioneer Village, passed away September 1, 2004. Bernice was predeceased by her husband Ferdinand; and her brother Harold. Bernice is survived by her brother Norman Kiesel (Jo) of Regina; her sister Vera Merchant of Port Perry, ON; her nephew Robert Merchant of Port Coquitlam, BC and niece Joan Lane (David) of Port Perry, ON. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday September 7, 2004 at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Regina Pioneer Village, 430 Pioneer Drive with Pastor Bob Leeson officiating. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park. Flowers gratefully declined. Arrangements in care of Speers Funeral Chapel and Crematorium Services.

BRAZIER - On Monday, September 6, 2004 Frank Henry Brazier passed away at the Wascana Rehabilitation Centre at the age of 91 years. Predeceased by his wife Marjorie; parents Harry and Rose; brother Eric and sister Grace; Frank is survived by his son Robert; nieces Susan, Barbara and nephew Barry. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 9, 2004 in the Chapel of Victoria Avenue Funeral Home, 2080 E. Victoria Avenue. Interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park. CHARRETT - Joyce Charrett (1935-2004), late of Prince Albert, passed away at 69 years of age. Joyce is survived by her loving husband Doug of Prince Albert; son Craig (Diane) of Saskatoon and their children Thomas, Cameron and Patrick; daughter Donna (Chris) Bowditch of Kitscoty, AB and their children Emily and Declan; sisters Eileen (Des) Yarnton of Springfield, Missouri, Dorothy Palmer of Regina and Lillian (Len) Spaurel of Penticton, BC, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Her parents George and Mary Burrows predeceased her. A Memorial Service to celebrate Joyce's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 8, 2004 from Gray's Funeral Chapel, 575 28th Street West, Prince Albert. CLOSE, RETA (NEE JOHNSTON) - The family of Margareta (Reta) Close sadly announce the death of their beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Reta died peacefully on September 3, 2004 in the early hours of the morning with her son Patrick at her side. She is survived by her husband Ronald and their son Patrick (Susan) of Regina, their daughter Susan (Richard) of Winnipeg and three grandchildren: Tara, Erin and Caleb. The family wish to thank Dr. Joan Baldwin and the staff at the Regina Lutheran Home for their compassionate care. A celebration of Reta's life will be announced and a detailed obituary will follow at a later date. COUESLAN - On Friday, September 4, 2004, Rene Albert, loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, passed away peacefully in Kelowna, BC at 81 years of age. Predeceased by his parents, two brothers and two sisters, Rene is survived by his wife, Dorothy; daughters Anita, and Jo-Anne (Owen) Howe and grandchildren Jessica and Gregory Howe; stepchildren Rick (Judy) Runge, Gail Runge, Gary (Deb) Runge, Doug (Deb) Runge, Diane (Michael) Milani, Rhonda Runge, Dean Runge, and their families; brother Francis Coueslan, sisters Simone (Vince) Coffey, and Jeanne Young; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Rene was born on the family homestead in Wolseley, Sask., then moved to Broadview, Sask. where he ran a successful dairy farm, being awarded Top Producer and Master Dairy Farmer during his career. A Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, September 8, 2004 at 6:00 p.m. at St. Charles Garnier Catholic Church, 3645 Benvoulin Road with Father Wayne Pfliger officiating. Interment to take place at Riverside Memorial Park Friday, September 17, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. with Father Ken Koep officiating. DAGORNE - Mr. Ken Dagorne of Prince Albert passed away on September 5, 2004 at the age of 73. Ken is survived by his loving wife Joyce; daughter Maureen (Jim) McKillican and their children Ashlee and Lyndsay, all of Regina; daughter Heather Dagorne of Red Deer, AB; daughter Janice (Vince) Phaneuf and their children Davis and Austin, all of Prince Albert; brother Henry (Sheila) Dagorne of Oakville, ON; and nieces Shelley, Kim and Lynn. He was predeceased by his parents Ralph and Jean Dagorne. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 9, 2004 at Gray's Funeral Chapel, 575 28th Street West, Prince Albert. Interment will take place at a later date in Poplar Point Cemetery

DUBOIS - It is with deep sadness that we announce the accidental passing of John Glenn Dubois, late of Regina, Sask., at the age of 44 years. He was born on December 29, 1959 and died September 3, 2004. He was predeceased by his parents Johnny and Anita Dubois, sister Lila, brother Glen, grandparents Fred and Maggie Dubois and Glen and Marion Shingoose. John is survived by his children Amanda (Neil) and their daughter Sierra; Adam; John and Glenn and their mother Shirley; Shayla and her mother Laureen; sister Ila (Darell) and her children Alexandra, James, Daniel and Aydrienne; Lori and her son Justin; brothers Christopher; Remi and his children Cory, Samantha and Colby; Emile and his children Jeffery, Marlon, Emile Jr.; Gregory, Maverick, Alisia, Alana and Delila; aunts Tillie Bird (Arnold), Connie Gordon (John) and Paula; uncles Dickie Dubois and Victor McNab; friend and mentor Tom Warner as well as numerous other relatives and many, many friends. OLAUSON - ENID ANNIE: died peacefully on December 1, 2004, a month after her 90th birthday. She is lovingly remembered by daughter Audrey and Glen Morrison, daughter Sharon and Bill Wheatley, special niece Carole and Len Fisher, grandchildren Gavin Morrison, Colin Morrison, Tracy and Ralph Ritter, Rob Wheatley and Barbara and Marc Gibbon, four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Bob, daughter Loraine, sister Phyllis Horrocks and brother and sister-in-law Bill and Bernice Horrocks. Enid was a long time Regina resident. She was very active in Guiding and held many positions from Brown Owl to Provincial Camp Commissioner. She sang for many years in St. Mary's Anglican Church choir and was an active member of the ACW. Enid also played a supportive role to her husband Bob's activities in the SGEA. After retiring to Kelowna, Enid spent many years as a docent at the Kelowna museum where she shared her love of nature with elementary school children. Enid returned to Regina in the early 90's and for the past four years has resided at Regina Pioneer Village. She enjoyed the excellent care she received in both the Hostel and on Main West. A SERVICE OF REMEMBRANCE will be held at the chapel of Pioneer Village, 430 Pioneer Drive on Monday, December 6, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Joyce Hilton officiating.
