RYCHLO - EVELYN (nee MASTEL): Late of Regina, SK and formerly of Bengough SK passed away Saturday, May 29, 2004 at the Regina General Hospital at the age of 79 years, after a brief courageous battle with lung cancer with her family by her side.
Evelyn is predeceased by her loving husband of 42 years Ernie in 1988, her parents Ben and Katie Mastel, her father and mother-in-law, John and Josephine Rychlo and brother-in-law, Barnie. She is survived by her 5 siblings, John (Delores) Mastel of Victoria, BC, Helen (Gordon) Riddell, Rose (Rolf) Starkebaum, Ray Mastel, all of Regina and Ron (Shirley) Mastel of Regina Beach; sister-in-law, Joan Rychlo of Saskatoon, plus numerous nephews and nieces.
Evy was raised in Regina where she worked at the General Hospital for 20 years, lastly in the Admitting Dept., before moving to Bengough with her husband Ernie in 1968 where she worked as Matron for the newly opened Twilight Nursing Home for 21 years until her retirement in 1989.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends especially at family functions where her greatest enjoyment was spent singing in harmony with her sister Helen and her weekly Thursday bingo session with her two sisters.
Flowers most gratefully declined, donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
We wish to thank Dr. Duffy and the staff at the General Hospital for their care of Evy.
A celebration of Evy's life will be held for family and friends at a later date.
At Evelyn's request there will be no service.

STABLES_- Flora Cameron late of Pioneer Village passed away on Friday, May 28, 2004.
Flora was born in Elgin, Morayshire, Scotland in 1902.
She farmed at Rama, SK from 1926-1962.
She was predeceased by her husband, Alexander and daughter, Flora, as well as five sisters and three brothers in Scotland.
Flora is survived by three daughters: Ina of Calgary, Daisy (Bill and family) of Victoria, BC, Edith (Roger) Hamelin of Regina, SK; son-in-law Gerald and family of Saskatoon, SK; two sisters and many relatives in Scotland.
Flora lived in her own home until age 101.
Our heartfelt thanks and appreciation are extended to Mom's 6th Avenue N. neighbours, and to the caring staff at Pioneer Village.
At Flora's request, there will be no funeral service.
A GRAVESIDE SERVICE for family and friends will be held at Regina Memorial Gardens Cemetery
on Thursday, June 3, at 1:00 p.m.
Please meet at Regina Funeral Home prior to the Graveside Service.

WALTERS_- Thelma Rose (nee Schoenroth) born April 25, 1939 went to her Eternal Home to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Friday, May 28, 2004.
Thelma was 65 years of age. She is now at peace after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
She is predeceased by her parents Neil (1961) and Eva (1991) Schoenroth, infant sister Eva (1934), brother-in-law Ron Hubick (1975) and her infant son Kevin Walters (1966).
Thelma is survived by her caring and loving family: her husband Kenneth of 43 years, daughters Leanne McEachern and Kimberley (Kory) Hayko, Regina, SK.
Also her great blessing and joy, her grandchildren: Kyle and Larissa McEachern and Kaylee and Kristi Hayko.
Sister Erna Hubick, brother Willard (Marilyn) Schoenroth, Abbotsford, B.C. and her many nieces and nephews.
Thelma grew up and attended school in the Davin, SK. District, moving to Regina in 1956 and was employed for thirteen years at the Toronto Dominion Bank.
She then devoted her time caring for her loving family.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker.
A special note of remembrance and acknowledgement is extended to Dr. Lyle Moore and Gail for their several years of superb care and friendship.
Their compassion and understanding was very much appreciated.
Thank you to Dr. Boek, Dr. McLeod (Thelma's family doctor), Dr. Clein and the many nurses and staff of the Allan Blair Cancer Center, and the Palliative Care Home Care nurses.
A very special thank you to the nurses of the Pasqua Hospital Palliative Care Unit for their care and comfort.
Thelma will be remembered in a celebration of Christian burial on Wednesday, June 2nd at 2:00 p.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 3825 Hillsdale Street, Regina, SK.

A private family interment will take place at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery.
Gifts of remembrance may be made to the Friends of 3B Unit of the Pasqua Hospital or Lutheran Hour Ministries, 270 Lawrence Avenue, Kitchener, Ontario.

WILKIE-CLARK_- Blanche Wilkie-Clark left us peacefully on Friday May 28, 2004 at Providence Place, Moose Jaw at the age of 91 years.
Blanche is predeceased by her mother and father, Violet and Carmen Bradley; first husband, Roy in 1983; son, Donald in 1996; sisters, Audrey and Rita; brother, George; and her late husband, Harold Clark in 2003.
Left to mourn her passing: her son, Allan (Eileen); and stepdaughter, Gail (Ernie) Coulson.
She was a cherished Grandma of Jennifer (Derek) Law, Michael Wilkie, Terrill Joy (Jason) Meiers, Treena (Robert) Bleakney, and step-grandchildren: Clark (Tara) Coulson, Stacey Coulson Edwards (Ward), Carla Coulson (Thomas Hamilton), and all her great-grandchildren: Amanda, Elise, Katie, Max, Jordan, Aidan, and Mattea.
Blanche was dearly loved by all her cousins and their families and her many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends at W.J. Jones & Son Funeral Home, Moose Jaw, on Monday, May 31, 2004 from 7-9 pm.
The Funeral Service will be held at Bethune United Church, Bethune, SK, on Tuesday June 1, 2004 at 2:00 pm.
Maurice Gardner will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials to a charity of choice, would be appreciated.
In living memory of Blanche, a tree will be planted in Wakamow Valley by W.J. Jones & Son Funeral Home.
