It is with sadness that the families of the late Major Ivy Stoodley announce her passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL aged, 90 years. She is predeceased by her husband, Major William Stoodley; parents, George and Lucy Winsor; sisters, Minnie Rice and Bride Williams. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are: daughters, Judy Saunders and Janesta (Baxter) Blake; grandchildren Kerri (Judy) Saunders, and Kim (Chad) Haggett; great-grandchildren, Kelsey and Jenna Saunders; sisters, Ada Colbourne and Eileen Rice. The funeral service will take place Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at 2 pm from The Salvation Army Circular Road Citadel, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL with Majors Terry & Bonnie Hopkins officiating. The interment will take place at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Union Street, Grand Falls Windsor. Visitation will take place Monday, June 21, 2010 at 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 10 Bayley Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL. Jessie E. Wells
August 13, 1925 - July 28, 2010
It is with sadness that the families of the late Jessie E. Wells announce her passing at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Centre, Botwood, NL, aged 84 years. She is predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Barbara Edison; brothers, Carl, Heber, Donald, Oswald, Maxwell, and Wilbert; sisters, Annie, Audrey, and Georgina. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are: husband, Augustus; daughters, Viva (Fred) Adams of Northern Arm, NL, Hazel (George) Dawe of South Brook, Halls Bay, NL; sons, Bill (Gail) Wells of Botwood, NL, Roy (Faye) Wells, of Labrador City; 12 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Doris Smith; as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. The funeral Service took place Saturday, July 31, 2010 at 2 pm from Jubilee Pentecostal Tabernacle, Botwood, NL with Pastor Frazer Roberts officiating. Visitation took place Friday, July 30, 2010 at 2 -4 pm and 7-9 pm. Flowers were greatly accepted as well donations in her memory were made to the Village of Hope and the Gideon Society. Pallbearers: Bill Well, Roy Wells, Glenn Adams, Fred Adams, George Dawe, Kirk Wells. Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Botwood Funeral Home.

It is with great sadness that the families of the late Jane Taylor Warford announce her passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, aged 3 years. Jane is predeceased by her great-grandparents, Donald Rowsell; Jack and Ernestine Warford; and Mary Rolfe. Left to mourn with fond and precious memories are: her parents, Grant & Larissa Warford and big brother, David of Fort McMurray, Alberta; grandparents, David and Marion Andrews of Pt. Leamington, NL, and Alvin and Bonnie Warford of Pt. Leamington, NL ;great-grandparents, Reginald and Eleanor Andrews; Jean Rowsell; and Dorman Rolfe; as well as a very large circle of uncles, aunts, cousins, relatives and friends. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at 2 pm from Pt. Leamington Pentecostal Assembly with Pastor Jeff Green officiating. The interment will follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Pt. Leamington, NL. Visitation will take place Monday, May 24, 2010 at 7-9 pm. Flowers greatly accepted ,as well as in her memory, donations may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation. She is predeceased by her husband, John; parents, William and Bertha Sharron; sisters, Lilly Warford, Louise Manuel; and brother Stephen Sharron. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are children, Fern (Leslie) Fudge, Frank( Sheena), Terry (Wavey), and Lorne (Valerie); grandchildren, Jacqueline , Henry (Frances), Neil, Jessica, Nathan, and Monica; great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Kobe, and Dustin; sisters, Winnie Warford and Daisy Parmiter; brother, Frank Sharron; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Leading Tickles, NL. Visitation took place Saturday at 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm from the St. Nicholas Anglican Church, Leading Tickles, NL.
