He is predeceased by his father Arch and brother Gordon Tilley. Left to mourn with fond loving memories are: his mother, Maude Tilley of Grand Falls-Windsor; Sons, Albert Jr. of Fort MacMurray AB, & Bradley (Sherry) of St. Johns NL; Daughter, Penney of Fort MacMurray, AB; Brothers, Harvey of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL & Arthur (Joan) of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL; Sisters, Edna (Lorne) Snow of Bishop’s Falls, NL, Ruby (Arthur) Roberts of Beeton, ON, Shirley (Jack) Hennebury of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL & Joy (Don) Hobbs of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL; 7 grandchildren & 1 great-grandchild; as well as a large circle of relative and friends. The funeral service will take place Sunday, May 3, 2009 at 2 pm from the Park Street Salvation Army Citadel, Grand Falls-Windsor with Major Sandra Stokes officiating. It is with sadness that the families of the late May R. Thomas announce her passing at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, NL , aged 88 years. She is predeceased by her husband, Harold; daughter, Donna and several brothers and sisters. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are daughter, Elva (Bob) Hedges, of Grand Falls Windsor; sons, Terry (Elisabeth) of Ontario, Don (Judy) of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, Allan (Karen) of St. John’s, NL; son-in-law, Perry Budgell; grandchildren, Darrell, Dawn, Steven, Paul, Lisa, Perry Kristopher, Patti, Ashley, and Gregory; 6 great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Dorothy Louise Stuckless
September 17, 1928 - December 31, 2009
Passed peacefully away at the Central Newfoundland Hospital on December 31 2009 Dorothy (Dot) Louise Roberts aged 81. She is predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Gordon Roberts and second husband Martin Stuckless, parents Stephen and Frances Sharron, brothers Bill and Jasper, son Bill and grandson Joshua. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her sisters Audrey Manuel and Toots Goobie, brothers Joe Sharron and Jack Sharron (Doreen), children Linda Elliott (Ev), Stephen (Sheila), Jack (Pat Rowan), Harv (Brenda), Madonna, Murray (Sherry), Bryan (Marilyn), Lori (Larry Beach), Darren (Paula) and Jeff (Shelley); grandchildren: Brad, Barbie, Bobbi, Dale, Michael, Jordan, Jamie, Mark, Shane, Stephanie, David and Kira; great-grandchildren: Alex, Stanley and Brooklyn; Special family friend: Lynda Butler as well as a large circle of extended family and friends. Family flowers only. Donations may be made in Dorothy’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
