She is predeceased by her husband, Joseph Keats; parents, George & Druscilla Day; sisters, Gwendolyn Way, Hazel Frampton, & Joan Oake; brothers, Harvey and Harold Day. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are: daughters, Sandra (Des) Arnold of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, Joan (Don) Kelly of Barrie, ON; granddaughter, Melissa (Jim) Pye of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL; special great-grandson, Zachary Pye of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL; sisters, Myrtis Penner of Sherwood Park, AB, Daphne (Alf) Mills of Bishop’s Falls, NL; as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. The funeral service will take place Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at 2 pm from St. Alban’s Anglican Church with Rev. Harris officiating. The interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Caribou Road, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL. It is with sadness that the families of the late Judy Keefe announce her sudden passing at her residence in Peterview, NL aged 55 years. She is predeceased by her parents, John & Hilda Blake; brothers, Pierce, Stan, Wilson and Morris. He is predeceased by his father, Gordon Patey; son, Carl; brother, Hedley; daughters, Shirley and Irene. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are: wife, Rita; mother, Mabel; sons, Roy (Fern), Paul (Trudy), Eugene (Lorie), Wallace (Pauline) George (Joy), and Hubert (Trudy); daughters, Christine (Glen) Burt), Juanita (Kevin) Loveman, and Barbara-Ann Keefe; 18 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; as well as a very large circle of family, relatives and friends. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are husband, Martin; three daughters, Sherri (Dean) Gale of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, Cathy (David) Earle of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, and Kim of High Level, AB; Two sons, Wayne (Bridget) Pardy of Lewisporte, NL, and Rian of Vancouver, BC; stepson, Jason Maddix of Mississauga, ON; 3 grandchildren; as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. He is predeceased by his parents, Phillip and Elsie Maloney; brother, Terry; sister Patricia and nephew, Jay. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are: his wife Sandra; son David (Maggie) of Ottawa, ON; daughters, Rhonda (Steve) Bragg of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, Colleen (Ed) Healey of London, ON and Kim (Doug) Simms of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL; grandchildren, Vanessa (Jason) Short, Tara (Ricardo) Costa, Eddie Healey, Jason Maloney, Justin Maloney, Samantha Simms; great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Angela, and William Short; sisters, Margaret (James) O’Reilly, Betty (James) St. George; Sister-in-law, Mac Maloney; brother-in-law, Dennis Barrett; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relative and friends. He retired from Abitibi Price in 1995, after 41 years and he loved spending time at his cabin. He was a honorary member of The Knights of Columbus and he was also a member of the Independent Order Of Odd Fellows. The funeral service will take place Monday, June 29, 2009 at 10 am from The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception Parish with Father Richard Salas officiating. Visitation will take place Saturday, June 27, 2009 at 7-9 pm and Sunday June 28, 2009 at 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.
