Passed peacefully away November 2, 2008 in the presence of her loving family Clotilda "Clo" Lee (Nee: Kelly) at The Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, age 93 years. The last surviving member of the Gregory Francis Kelly and Mary Ann Cooke Kelly family. Leaving to mourn with loving memories are: daughters: Shirley (Gerald) Foley and Bernadette (Dennis) Power of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL; granddaughter, Michelle (Travis) Foley Clarke of Edmonton, Alberta; sister in law Anne Kelly Hanlon and a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Predeceased by her first husband Eugene "Gene" Long in 1939, second husband Edward "Ned" Lee in 1994, parents Gregory Francis Kelly and Mary Ann (Cooke) Kelly, sisters Anne Cardoulis, Bride Philpott, Margaret McLoughlan, Dorothy Kelly, Genevieve Williams, Lillian Murphy, twin sister Mary O’Leary, brother Lewis G. Kelly. Visitation will take place Monday, November 3, 2008 at 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 10 Bayley Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL. Mass of Christian Burial will take place Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at 11am from St Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Grand Falls Windsor, NL with internment at the Interfaith Cemetery, Union Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL with Father William Houlahan officiating. Goldie Mary Budgell
October 24, 1922 - October 14, 2009
Passed peacefully away on October 14, 2009 at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Care Centre, Twillingate, NL, Goldie Budgell in her 87th year. Goldie grew up in Exploits, Notre Dame Bay and in 1940 married Thomas Budgell. Together they raised three sons and in 1959 moved to Windsor, NL where she was employed by Brookfield Ice Cream for 16 years.
