Left to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter Phyllis (Gerry) of Carmichael, ON; sons: Levi (Marlene) Keddie of London, ON, Ted (Joan) Keddie of Edmonton, Larry (Susan) Keddie of Alberta, Calvin (Judy) Keddie of New Brunswick and Lester (Edna) Keddie of Glovers Harbour; 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; stepson Darrel Guest and stepdaughter Nadine Wright both of Nova Scotia; brother Elias Marsh; sisters: Esther Robinson and Gladys Noseworthy, as well as a large circle nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation took place from the Salvation Army Church in Glovers Harbour on Wednesday, March 14, 2007 from 7-9 p.m and on Thursday, March 15, 2007 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service was held on Friday, March 16, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. with Captains Jamie and Elaine Locke officiating. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Botwood Funeral Home. Pallbearers were: Wilson Robinson, Wally Robinson, Alvin Ward, Gerald Marsh, Cecil Marsh and Pierce Farrell. Honorary pallbearer Esther Keddie.

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Owen Grimes announce his passing in St. John's on June 23, 2007 at the age of 73. Predeceased by his parents: Frederick and Winnie Grimes and sister Arlene. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Lucy of 44 years: daughters: Arlene (Paul) Lewis, Beverly (Rod) Keefe and Paula (Geoff) Butler all of Grand Falls - Windsor; 6 grandchildren: Christopher, Bethany, Nicholas, Kaileigh, Kaitlyn and Adrianna. Also leaving to mourn 8 brothers: Colin (Audrey), Joe (Mary), Barry (Ruth), Bud (Greta), Dave (Nellie), Ross (Maisie), Roger (Mary Ann) and Tony (Cindy); 3 sisters: Effie, Gloria (Tom) Murphy and Shirley (Robert) Ball as well as a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation took place from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home on Monday, June 25, 2007 from 7-9 p.m. and on Tuesday, June 26, 2007 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. from Evangel Pentecostal Church on Grenfell Heights with Pastor Marvin Burton officiating. Interment was at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Union Street. Flowers were gratefully accepted or donations were made to the Owen Grimes Legacy Fund (Newfoundland and Labrador Credit Union, Acct # 03706-249). Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Pallbearers were brothers: Colin, Bud, Dave, Ross, Roger and Tony Grimes. Honorary pallbearers were brothers: Joe and Barry Grimes.

Predeceased by her husband Albert, parents: Selby and Hazel Braye and several brothers and sisters. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories daughter Bonnie (Henry) of Grand Falls - Windsor; sons: Keith (Edna) of Alberta and Paul (Barb) of Grand Falls - Windsor; 5 grandchildren: Nicole, Lloyd, Stephanie, Stephen and Harley; 4 great-grandchildren: Kendra, Devon, Melody and Ian; brothers: Don, Junior (Linda), Herb (Bernice), Calvin (Pat); sister Sadie Russell and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation took place from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home on Sunday, June 10, 2007 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service was held on Monday, June 11, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Interment was at the Anglican Cemetery, Caribou Road. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Avril; son Robert (Joelle) of Grand Falls - Windsor; daughter Tina (Michael) Crewe of St. John's, NL; grandchildren: Aaron, Hannah, Robert and Rachel. Also left to mourn sisters: Mary (Aubrey) Goodyear, Florence Granter and Shirley West and a large circle of other relatives and friends.
