Laure Anne Michaud
At the Tobique Valley Hospital, Plaster Rock, June 6, 2002, Mrs. Laure Anne Michaud of Drummond passed away at the age of 83 years.
She was the wife of Clovis Michaud and had been a resident of Tobique Valley Manor, Plaster Rock. Born at Drummond in 1919, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Sophie (Michaud) Pelletier.
She is survived by her husband, six daughters, Jeannine Hebert (Martin) of Grand Falls, Geraldine Bouchard (Lionel) of Plymouth, Connecticut, Marise Ouellette (Jean) of Drummond, Venette Lebel (Gerald) of Grand Falls, Dorina Ressler (Richard) of Summer Hill, Pennsylvania and Yvette Pelletier (Montcalm) of Drummond, two sons, Adelbert (Lina) and Rejean (Diane) of Drummond, daughter-in-law, Lucille Michaud of Drummond, one sister, Anna Martin of Caribou, Maine, 23 grandchildren
, 28 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one son, Gerald.
Resting at O’Regan’s Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Monday from 2-4 p.m. Her funeral will be held Monday at 4:15 p.m. from the Saint-Michel Roman Catholic Church, Drummond, with Father Ivan Theriault officiating.
Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.

Philip Michaud
À l’Hôpital Général de Grand-Sault, le lundi 3 juillet 2002, à l’âge de 89 ans, est décédé Philip Michaud, époux de Cécile Bellefleur, domicilié à Grand-Sault.
Né à Saint-André en 1913, il était fils de feu Edward "Eddie" Michaud et de feu Addie Cyr.
Il a été précédé dans la tombe par trois frères, Wilfrid, Eloi et Armand et une soeur, Marie-Anne. Outre son épouse, il laisse dans le deuil trois fils, Normand (Violet) et Gérald de Grand-Sault, et Réal (Dorina) de St-Hilaire, deux filles, Diane (Gérald) Daigle de St-Léonard-Parent et Rina (Roger) Francoeur de Drummond, sept petits-enfants, quatre arrière-petits-enfants, un frère, Mello (Laureen) Michaud et une soeur, Ozithée Lagacé, tous deux de Montréal, ainsi que nombreux neveux et nièces.
La dépouille mortelle est exposée au salon Guy O’Regan, 515, boul. Evérard Daigle à Grand-Sault.
Ses funérailles auront lieu le vendredi 5 juillet à 11h en l’église de la paroisse St-Georges de Grand-Sault, et l’inhumation au cimetière paroissial.
Les heures des visites ce jeudi de 19h à 21h, et ce vendredi de 9h30 jusqu’au départ pour les funérailles.

Edna Muckler
Au Foyer Linda Cyr de Saint-André, le mercredi 3 juillet 2002, à l’âge de 94 ans, est décédée Edna Pratt, épouse de feu Joseph Muckler, domiciliée à Saint-André, mais autrefois de Grand-Sault. Née à Doaktown, N.-B., en 1907, elle était fille de feu Alexander Pratt et de feu Hannah Arbeau.
Pendant de nombreuses années, Mme Muckler et son mari ont travaillé au Club de Curling de Grand-Sault.
Elle laisse dans le deuil une soeur, Phyllis O’Donnell et un frère, Donald Pratt, tous deux de Fredericton, ainsi que ses amis du Foyer.
La dépouille mortelle est exposée au Salon Guy O’Regan, 515, boul. Evérard Daigle à Grand-Sault.
Ses funérailles auront lieu le samedi 6 juillet à 11h en l’église de l’Assomption de Grand-Sault, et l’inhumation au cimetière paroissial.
Heures des visites ce vendredi de 19h à 21h, et ce samedi de 9h30 jusqu’au départ pour les funérailles.
Rose Michaud
1915 - 2002
À l’Hôpital Général de Grand-Sault, le jeudi 11 juillet 2002, à l’âge de 87 ans, est décédée Rose Michaud, épouse de feu Claude Michaud, domiciliée à Grand-Sault. Née à Drummond en 1915, elle était fille de feu Félix Michaud et de feu Georgina Bernier.
Elle a été précédée par une fille, Claudette Michaud. Elle laisse dans le deuil un fils, Gérald de Grand-Sault, trois petits-enfants, Yvon Michaud (Patricia), Michel Michaud (Shelley) et Marc Michaud, deux arrière-petits-enfants, Stéphanie et Jason, deux frères, Armand (Alvina) de Drummond et George (Marthe) de Grand-Sault, trois soeurs, Claire Vaillancourt de Grand-Sault, Elise Cyr d’Edmundston et Anna Michaud de Van Buren, Maine, ainsi que des neveux et nièces.
La dépouille mortelle est exposée au salon Guy O’Regan, 515, boul. Evérard Daigle à Grand-Sault.
Ses funérailles auront lieu le samedi 13 juillet à 11h en l’église Sainte-Marie-des-Anges de Perth-Andover, et l’inhumation au cimetière paroissial.

Abel Roy
At the Grand Falls General Hospital, June 10, 2002, Mr. Abel Roy of Grand Falls passed away at the age of 81 years.
He was married to the former Laurette Clavette. Born at Riviere-Verte in 1921, he was a son of the late Thomas and Annie (Guerrette) Roy.
Mr. Roy was a retired employee of the Town of Grand Falls.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Maurice (Mona) of Toronto, three daughters, Yvette Roy of Grand Falls, Lise Boyd (Tim) of Alberta and Lucie Oude-Meilink (Eric) of Australia, four grandchildren, Marcel, Michelle, Marc and Cameron, one sister, Claire Roy of Grand Falls, as well as nieces and nephews.
Resting at O’Regan’s Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 2-4 p.m.
His funeral will be held Thursday, June 13th at 4 p.m. from the St-Georges Roman Catholic Church, Grand Falls, with Father Normand Godbout officiating.
Interment will be in the St-Georges cemetery.
