Anna Marie Blanchard
1916-2010
Peacefully at her residence at Pennfield NB on October 17, 2010, Mrs. Anna Marie (Daigle) Blanchard, wife of the late Valerie J. Blanchard formerly of Blacks Harbour NB. Born at Acadieville NB on August 20, 1916, she was a daughter of the late Andre and Emma (Thibault) Daigle. A loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she is survived by six daughters; Emma Aresenault, Jeannette Daigle and Edna (Regis) Roy all of Moncton NB, Antoinette (Andre) Richard of Saint Charles NB, Regina (Alfred) LeBlanc of Moncton and Dina (Hubert) Pellerin of Pennfield NB, four sons; Vital (Barb) Blanchard and Andre (Evelyn) Blanchard both of Saint John NB, Alphonse (Mary) Blanchard of Blacks Harbour, Bernard (Patricia) Blanchard of St. Andrews NB, 28 grandchildren

and four step great great grandchildren
, one daughter in law, Irene Blanchard of Blacks Harbour and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband, Valerie, she was predeceased by one son, Telex and by seven brothers and one sister. Anna was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
When not being surrounded by company, which she loved, Anna enjoyed knitting and listening to music, especially Country. She was a member of the Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church, Blacks Harbour NB.
Resting at the St. George Funeral Home & Crematorium (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB with visiting on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from the Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church, Blacks Harbour, on Tuesday at 11:00 am with Father Paul Doucet officiating, followed by the interment
at the parish cemetery. In Anna’s memory, donations to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
L. Jean Allanson
1927-2010
At the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, NB on November 14, 2010, Mrs. L. “Jean” Allanson, wife of the late Mr. John Robert James Allanson of Canal NB. Born at Blackpool, England on July 24, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Margaret Eva. A loving mother, grandmother and sister she is survived by one daughter, Valerie (Steve) Titus of Dawson City, YT, three grandchildren
; Debbie (Kevin) Shaw of Canal, NB, John Whyte of Nanaimo, BC and Sheryll Mullan of Dawson City, YT, three great grandchildren
; Jacklyn Shaw of Rothesay, NB and Tamara and Matthew Mullan of Dawson City, YT, three brothers; Eddie (Flo) Eva of Australia, George (Jane) Eva and Harvey Eva both of Blackpool, England, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Prior to her retirement Jean worked in retail and sales for many businesses. She enjoyed Sunday dinners and spending time with her family and grandchildren

Aldon James Goodrich
1915-2010
Peacefully at the Fundy Nursing Home, Blacks Harbour NB on November 14, 2010, Mr. Aldon James Goodrich, husband of the late Marion (Craig) Goodrich formerly of Beaver Harbour NB. Born at Canaan ME on September 30, 1915, he was a son of the late Everret and Mable (Kinney) Goodrich. A loving father and grandfather, Aldon is survived by one son, Douglas (Irene) Goodrich of Lepreau NB, one daughter, Audrey Rowena (Allison) Hawkins of Beaver Harbour NB, one grandson
, Brent (Jolene) Goodrich of Lepreau NB, two step grandchildren
; Laureen and Amanda Hawkins of Campbell River BC, one great granddaughter, Ainsley Goodrich, step great grandchildren
; Joshua, Adrianna and Ilanna Hawkins, Nya Chailler and Chelsea Hanley and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his wife, Marion he was predeceased by two sisters, Eunice Jordan and Stella Lee.
Prior to his retirement, Aldon worked for the NB Dept. of Transportation on the Bridge Crew. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the Second Falls Baptist Church.

Garry Maynard Leeman
1942-2010
Unexpectedly at Rothesay NB on November 7, 2010, Mr. Garry Maynard Leeman of Mascarene NB. Born at St. George NB on February 17, 1942, he was a son of the late Randall and Lila (Parks) Leeman. A loving brother and uncle, he is survived by two brothers; Marvin (Eileen) Leeman of Back Bay NB and Donnie (Christina) Leeman of Mascarene, one sister, Lorena (Joseph) Murphy of Miramichi NB and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Prior to his retirement, Garry worked for Connor Bros. Can and Cover Division, and later known as Impress, at Blacks Harbour NB for over 25 years. He loved hard work, canoeing and traveling. He also had a great love and talent for music. Garry was a member of the Charlotte County ATV Club and the Cornerstone Tabernacle Church, St. George NB.

Barbara Ann Theriault
1936-2010
Unexpectedly, at her residence at Fairhaven NB on November 14, 2010, Mrs. Barbara Ann Theriault, wife of the late Mr. Arne Alden Theriault. Born at St. Martins NB on February 28, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Justin and Lila (McQue) McCarthy. A loving mother and grandmother, she is survived by one daughter, Krista (Oliver) Cull of Fairhaven, special granddaughter, Tanesha Lindi also of Fairhaven, sisters in law; Evangeline Allen of St. George NB, Lillian Olsson of Old Ridge NB and Janet Theriault of Bayside NB and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband, Arne, she was predeceased by two sisters; Bernice McCarthy and Evelyn McIntyre and by one brother, Ivan McCarthy.
Prior to her retirement, Barbara worked mostly in office work for various employers, retiring from Connors Bros at Fairhaven, where she was employed as her husbands secretary. She loved listening to her old time Country Music, attending social gatherings and spending her free time surrounded by her family.
A time of visitation with the family will be held at Barbara's home at 1 Calder's Head Road, Fairhaven NB during the afternoon and evening on Tuesday. Friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Wednesday at 2 pm at the Fairhaven Community Cemetery

Freda Marie Cook
1921-2010
Peacefully at the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen NB on November 23, 2010, Mrs. Freda Marie (Arsenault) Cook, wife of the late Raymond B. Cook of Back Bay NB. Born at Blue Bell NB on December 30, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Isaac and Jacqueline (Geneau) Arsenault. A loving mother, grandmother and sister, she is survived by four sons; Dewey (Betty Lou) Michaud of Perth Andover NB, Dwayne (Joan) Cook of L’Etang NB, David (Donalda) Cook and Steven Cook both of Back Bay NB, five daughters; Arlene (Bill) Johnston of St. Stephen NB, Jeannie Cook of L’Etete NB, Monica (Randy) Sauliner of Saint John NB, Anna Leavitt of L’Etete NB and Patricia (Robert) Norman of Bonny River NB, 11 grandchildren

Prior to her retirement, Freda worked for Connors Bros for several years. She loved sewing, quilting and knitting. She enjoyed listening to music and loved to entertain guests. She will be fondly remembered for her greatest gift, making people laugh.

Murray Charles Townes
1941-2010
Mr. Murray Charles Townes, of Fredericton, NB, 69, passed away on November 29, 2010, peacefully at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton NB, after a brief illness. Born in St. Stephen, NB on February 25, 1941, he was a son of the late Kenneth and Lillian (Blakeley) Townes. A beloved soul mate, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, he will be deeply missed by his soul mate, Margaret (Burtt), daughters; Davina (Morton) Cooke of Utopia, NB and Katrina Lovett of Porter’s Lake, NS, stepchildren; Paul (Josie) Emery of Brantford, ON, Peter Emery of Toronto, ON, Hope (Gary) Sherwood of Bayswater, NB, James Emery of Saint John, NB and Faith (Greg) Bromby of Brantford, ON, grandchildren
; Diana, Christina, Stewart, Zachery, Jessica, Camryn, Dionna, Sondra, Jacob and Landon, eight great grandchildren
, brothers; Basil of McAdam, NB and Orville (Verna) of Lawrence Station, NB, sister, Reta Dickinson (Ed) of Andersonville, NB, sister in law, Annette of Lawrence Station, NB, uncle, Herbert Blakeley (Madeline), aunt, Effie Jeffries, special nephews; Louis and Wade, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Elton, special niece, Lavina Townes and sister in law, Lillian.
Before his disability, Murray drove truck for various companies and drove bus for SMT Ltd. He enjoyed traveling, camping and attending Bluegrass Festivals. His motor home was always filled with his many friends who were either playing music or just sharing a laugh. Everyone Murray met became a good friend and he loved everyone. He was a member of the Nashwaak Valley Golden Age Club and the Fredericton Bluegrass Old Time Music Association. He will be sadly missed by his many friends and loving family.
