Arthur "Darb" Hill Gillmor
1927-2010
Peacefully at the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen NB on April 14, 2010, Mr. Arthur “Darb” Hill Gillmor, husband of the late E. Louise (Justason) Gillmor of St. George NB and formerly of Bonny River NB. Born at Bonny River NB on August 13, 1927, he was the son of the late Arthur Stillman and Sarah Maude (Beach) Gillmor. A loving father, grandfather and brother he is survived by one son Eddie Gillmor (Janice Schneider) of Calgary AB, one daughter, Cathy (Royden) Stewart of L’Etang NB, granddaughters; Melissa (Scott) McLeod of Quispamsis NB and Megan Stewart (Scott Reynolds) of Fredericton NB, grandsons; Ian Gillmor of Victoria BC and Aaron Gillmor of Calgary AB, one sister, Josephine Corning of St. George NB and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his loving wife, Louise, he was predeceased by one sister, Catherine.
Darb retired from CPR were he worked as a Sectionman. In later years he worked for the NB Dept. of Tourism at the Provincial Campground at New River Beach. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, gardening and cutting wood. Darb was a member of the Second Falls United Baptist Church. He will be sadly missed by his family and all who knew him.
Resting at the St. George Funeral Home & Crematorium (755-3533), 26 Portage Street, St. George, NB from where the service will be held from The Gary E. Waycott Memorial Chapel on Saturday at 2 pm with Rev. Reg Ward officiating, followed by the interment at the Second Falls Baptist Cemetery. Visiting at the funeral home will take place on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Arthur’s memory to the Charlotte County Hospital Palliative Care Unit or to the Charlotte County Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

Caroline Minerva Leblanc
1933-2010
Peacefully at the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen NB on April 16, 2010, Mrs Caroline Minerva (Noddin) Leblanc, wife of the late Joseph F. Leblanc of Blacks Harbour NB. Born at St. Stephen NB on September 21, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Granville and Priscilla (Whittier) Noddin. A loving mother, grandmother and sister, she is survived by one daughter, Sherry Ann Leblanc of Blacks Harbour NB, two sons; Dean Leblanc of Elmsville NB and Jeff (Carolyn) Leblanc of Fort McMurray AB, two granddaughters; Nicole Savoy of Fort McMurray AB and Trisha Leblanc of Blacks Harbour NB, one brother, Sidney Noddin of Bonny River NB, two sisters; Lillian Tracey of Pleasant Ridge NB and Annie (George) McLeod of Fredericton NB and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband, Joseph, she was predeceased by one brother, Leslie Noddin and by one sister, Vivian Stewart
Caroline was a housewife and homemaker who enjoyed eating out at restaurants and visiting her family. She loved music and dedicated her life to her family, especially her daughter Sherry. She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends.
Resting at the St. George Funeral Home & Crematorium (755-3533), 26 Portage Street, St. George, NB from where the service will be held from The Gary E. Waycott Memorial Chapel on Monday at 2 pm with Rev. Reg Ward officiating, followed by the interment at the Stella Maris Catholic Cemetery, Blacks Harbour NB . Visiting at the funeral home will be held on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. In Caroline’s memory, donations to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.

Stuart Auburn Camic
1946-2010
Unexpectedly at his residence, at Fairhaven NB on April 17, 2010, Mr. Stuart Auburn Camic, husband of Mrs. Linda K. (Leslie) Camic. Born at Deer Island NB on June 18, 1946, he was the son of the late Arnold Cline and Evelyn Lela (Eaton) Camic. A loving husband, father and grandfather, in addition to his wife, Linda, he is survived by one son, Stuart (Jessica) Camic of Leonardville NB, two daughters, Shirley Camic of Saint John NB and Vicki (Evan) Smith of Moncton NB, four grandchildren; Bayley and Chloe Camic and Erik and Alexa Jongeellen and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his mother, he was predeceased by a half brother Malcolm Cline.
Stuart had been employed by the NB Dept. of Transportation, Maintenance Crew, for a number of years and also worked a few summers at the Deer Island Point Campground. He was a former member of the Deer Island Development Association and his greatest pleasure was spending time with his grandchildren and taking trips to Deer Island Point. In earlier years, Stuart enjoyed spending time on his boat mackerel fishing.
Resting at the Fairhaven Baptist Church, Fairhaven NB, from where the service will be held on Tuesday at 2 pm with Maurice Hatfield officiating, followed by the interment at the Fairhaven Community Cemetery at Calder’s Head NB. Visiting will take place at the church on Monday from 7-9 pm. In Stuart’s memory, donations to the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes. Association would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home & Crematorium (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB

Charles Clayton Richardson
1936-2010
At the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton NB on April 18, 2010, Mr. Charles Clayton Richardson of Minto NB and formerly of Deer Island NB. Born at Eastport ME on December 5, 1936, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Frances (Henward) Richardson. He is survived by five sons, four daughters, 12 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, one sister and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Resting at the Lord’s Cove Church of Christ, Lord’s Cove NB from where the service will be held on Monday at 2 pm with Rev. Conrad Cline officiating, followed by the interment at the Fairhaven Community Cemetery, Calder’s Head NB. Visiting at the church will take place on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. In Charles’ memory, donations to the Charlotte County Cancer Society or the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Wilfred "Wil" Irving Norman Grist
1920-2010
Peacefully at the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen NB on April 29, 2010, Mr. Wilfred “Wil” Irving Norman Grist, loving husband of Mrs. Carroll (Stuart) Grist of Fairhaven, Deer Island NB and formerly of Foster RI. Born in Providence RI on October 7, 1920, he was a son of the late Wilfred and Beatrice (Bennett) Grist. A loving husband, father and grandfather, in addition to his wife, Carroll, he is survived by 7 children; Diane LaTour of Rhode Island, Todd (Pamela) Grist of Rhode Island, Debbie (Stephen) Maaz of Rhode Island, Robert (Lori) Grange III of South Carolina, Scott (Shirley) Grange of Rhode Island, Susan Grange of Rhode Island and Jodi (Sean) Gilligan of Connecticut, 15 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Wil was predeceased by one son, Wing Grist, one brother, Delford Grist and by one sister, Lillian Procaccini.
Wil was a photographer by trade and was employed by Loring Studios, New London CT for over 30 years. He was a veteran of the Second World War, serving with the United States Air Force as a Pilot for 5 years and was active at Pearl Harbour during the bombing on December 7, 1941. He was an avid reader who read thousands of books and was a model plane enthusiast. He loved gardening, from fruit trees to flowers. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
Wil was a committed Christian man. He was a loving husband and wonderful father figure to his five stepchildren. He was loved by his fifteen grandchildren and spent hours story-telling and teaching them songs that are still remembered today. He was well respected, loved and admired by many.
At Wilfred’s request, there will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held at the Fairhaven Baptist Church, Deer Island NB on Saturday at 2 pm with Rev. Maurice Hatfield officiating. In Wil’s memory, donations to the Fairhaven Baptist Church or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. Beatrice Ilene Mealey
1934-2010
Peacefully at the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen NB on May 9, 2010, Ms. Beatrice Ilene Mealey of Pocologan NB. Born at Pocologan on October 12, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Hazel (Campbell) Mealey. A loving sister, aunt and friend, she is survived by two brothers; Charlie (Georgina) Mealey and Kenneth Mealey both of Pocologan, two sisters; Hazel Winters and Alice McLane both of Pocologan, she was “Special Nanny Bea” to Erik and Kaitlyn Hansen, Racheal and Bella O’Neil, grandchildren of Carl and Laura O’Neil and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one brother, Cecil Mealy and by one sister Bessie O’Neil.
Bea was a kind and generous person, who left work at Connors Brothers to care for her mother and father. She liked animals, reading and listening to Country and Western music, especially Buck Owens. She collected and enjoyed old TV shows and movies, including The Lone Ranger, Shirley Temple, The Andy Griffith Show and of course, I Love Lucy. Bea loved to laugh and have fun. She enjoyed talking on the phone and gathering with her family and friends. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Waycott Memorial Chapel on Wednesday at 2 pm with Rev. Grant Alcorn officiating followed by the interment at the Pennfield Baptist Cemetery. Visiting at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. In Bea’s memory, donations to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.

Thomas Edward Uhlman
1929-2009
At the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John NB on May 5, 2009, Mr. Thomas Edward Uhlman, husband of the late Mrs. Frances Marie (Gould) Uhlman of Pennfield NB. Born at Bethel ME, on February 19, 1929, he was the son of the late Douglas and Ella (Hueston) Uhlman. A loving father, grandfather and great grandfather, Tom is survived by his daughter Ann Gould of Pennfield NB, one granddaughter, Amanda Gould and her companion Paul Richard-Bell of Moncton NB, one great granddaughter, Paige, one great grandson, Chase, two half brothers; Victor, Garnet and Clyde (Laura), two half sisters; Treasure and Corrine and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his wife Frances Gould-Uhlman.
Tom worked for Connor’s Bros. for over 25 years and was a member of the Blacks Harbour Fire Department for 10 years. He enjoyed gardening and tending to the birds. He was avid wildlife lover and will be missed by his loving companion, Meagan.
Friends are welcome to attend a time of visitation at the St. George Funeral Home & Crematorium (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB on Saturday from 7-9 pm. The service will be held on Sunday at 3 from the Gary E. Waycott Memorial Chapel at the funeral home with Rev. Gordon Cooke officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in Tom’s memory to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
