Alvin Goguen
1938-2009
MONCTON, NB - Alvin Goguen, 71, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton on Wednesday, September 23rd, 2009. Born in Cocagne he was the son of the late Tilmon and Emilia (LeBlanc) Goguen.
Before retiring, Alvin had worked as a School Teacher and as Principal for Notre Dame, Sacré-Coeur, Aberdeen and Vanier Schools. He was a member of the St. Charles Golden Age Club and was considered by his family to be a “Gentleman Farmer”.
Survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Yvette (Savoie) Goguen of Moncton, one daughter; Nadine Goguen (Patrick Hickey) of Moncton, one son; Jean Goguen (Michele-Ann Boudreau) of Dieppe, one grandson
; Pierre-Alexandre, one brother; Leonard Goguen (Hélène Haché) of Shediac, sister-in-law; Juliette Goguen (late Ola) of Shediac River.
Besides his parents, Alvin was predeceased by one brother; Ola Goguen.
Resting at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9, and Friday, at 11:00 am until departure for funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 25th, 2009 at 1 pm, St. Charles Borromée Roman Catholic Church, St. Charles. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Leonard J. Robichaud
1931-2009
RICHIBUCTO, NB - It is with great sadness that the family of Leonard J. Robichaud announces his passing on Tuesday, September 15th at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, NB, at the age of 78. Born in St. Charles, NB he was the son of the late Patrick B. and Velida (Vautour) Robichaud. Leonard was employed at Ocean Steel for 25 years until his retirement in 1995. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 30 in Richibucto.
Left to mourn in his passing are his two sons; Wade (Terri) and Kevin of Saint John, two grand children; Courtney and Ashley, two step grand children; Zacharie and Cassandra.
He is survived by three sisters; Dorice Daigle (Napoleon) of Saint John, Eva Johnson (late Roy) of Richibucto and Edith Mazerolle (Bernard) of Shediac River, two brothers; Baptiste of St. Charles and George (Denise) of Aldouane.
Resting at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9, Thursday at Noon until departure for funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, September 17th, 2009 at 1:00 pm, St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto. Interment will be in Oceanview Memorial Gardens, Latimore Lake Road, Saint John.

Lucy Ouellette
1945-2009
Moncton, NB - Lucy Ouellette, wife of Yvon Ouellette passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L Dumont Hospital, Sunday, September 13th, 2009. Born in Claire-Fontaine, NB she was the daughter of the late Murdock and Lucie (Daigle) Stewart.
She attended Saint-Louis de France Roman Catholic Church, Moncton.
Lucy will be sadly missed by her husband, Yvon, daughters, Roberta Ayles (Ricky) of Moncton, Sheri-Ann Bungay (Bernard) of Port au Port Peninsula, NL and son, Robert (Marie-Eve Foisy) of Shawinigan, QC, grandchildren
, Pamela, Shane, Serge, Kyle, Jacob, Gabrielle, great grandchildren
, Darius, Gabriel, four sisters, Ethel, June, Carmen, Julia, three brothers, Donald, Randy and Emero and several nieces and nephews, She was predeceased by three brothers, Murdock Jr., Ross and Murray.
Resting at Thompson Memorial Home, St. Louis de Kent with visitation Monday, 7 to 9, Tuesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, Wednesday, 9 am until departure for funeral. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Louis des Français Roman Catholic Church, St. Louis de Kent, Wednesday, September 16th, 2009 at 11 am. Alyre Daigle
1922-2009
KOUCHIBOUGUAC, NB - Joseph Alyre Daigle, 86, of Kouchibouguac passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste. Anne de Kent on Tuesday, September 8th, 2009, surrounded by his loving wife and family. Born in Loggie Croft on October 27th, 1922 he was the eldest son of the late Angust and Exilda (Johnson) Daigle.
Alyre served in the Canadian Army during WW II. A fisherman, lumberman, and then a foreman for M.F. Esson’s of Millerton for 25 years. He was a member of St. James Roman Catholic Church, Kouchibouguac, Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 30, Richibucto, and Kouchibouguac Seniors Club. Alyre was an avid outdoorsman enjoying fishing and gardening. He loved playing cards with his family and friends, woodworking in his shed and in later years participated in the Veteran’s Out Reach Program at Branch No. 30. Most of all he cherished the times spent with his wife and family. Alyre was deeply proud of his sons, daughter -in-laws, grandchildren

; Kaylee, Tristen, Avery, Jamie, Dryden, Daniel, Isabel, Brayden, Logan, Katelyn, Logan, Remi, Colton, Grace and one expected, six sisters; Louise MacDonald (Victor) of Kouchibouguac, Evelyn Daigle (late Jacques) of St. Louis, Bertha Robichaud (Keith) of Saint John, Eva Zelward (Art) of Saint John, Alice Brooks (Everett) - Saint John, Jean Donavon (Jimmy) of Saint John, four brothers; Leo (Lily), Fred (Emma), Roy (late Nora), John (Lena) all of Kouchibouguac, several nieces & nephews.
Predeceased by three sisters; Della Daigle (late Alec), infants Rita & Emma, two brothers; Edgar and infant Raymond.
Resting at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Wednesday from 7-9, Thursday 2-4 & 7-9, Friday at 9:00 am until departure for funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. James Roman Catholic Church, Kouchibouguac on Friday, September 11, 2009 at 11:00 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Alyre’s memory may be made to the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation, NB Kidney Foundation, St. James Roman Catholic Church or donor’s choice, would be appreciated by the family.
The family would like to send a special thanks to Dr. Michelle LeBlanc and the Staff at the Ste. Anne Hospital for the care and compassion given to Alyre in his final days.

Gordon Malcolm Campbell
1947-2009
Bass River, NB - Gordon M. Campbell, age 61, of Bass River passed away at the Moncton Hospital, Saturday, September 5th, 2009. Born in Rexton, he was the son of the late Murdock and Frances (Campbell) Campbell.
Gordon will be sadly missed by his wife, Gail (Wilson) Campbell, sons, Ross (Jennifer) of Fredericton, Glenn (Billi-Jo) of Bass River, sister Elma Campbell of Bass River, four grand children, Taylor, Walker, Parker, Carter, two nieces, Shannon, Erin, 2 nephews, Kirk, Jeffery and two special great nieces, Christina and Sarah. There will not be any visitation prior to the funeral.
A Funeral Service will be held at St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church, Bass River, Tuesday, September 8th, 2009 at 2:00 pm. Internment to follow in the Church Cemetery. Marie-Stella Daigle LeBlanc

RICHIBUCTO, NB - Marie-Stella Daigle LeBlanc, 61, of Richibucto, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, August 21st, 2009 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Born in Cocagne, she was the daughter of the late Zenon and Aldea (Breau) Petitpas.
Marie-Stella will be sadly missed by her husband; Bernard LeBlanc, daughter; Nancy Poirier of Montreal, QC, two grandchildren
; Neil and Steven Fisher, sister; Marie-May Murray (Larry) of Halifax, NS, four brothers; Normand Petitpas (Antoinette) of St-Charles; Jean-Guy Petitpas (Dianna) of St-Antoine, Alvin Petitpas (Linda) of Richibouctou-Village, Gerard Petitpas (Beverly) of Moncton, and her step-father; Edgar Richard. Marie-Stella is predeceased by her brother; Yvon Petitpas.

Richibucto, NB - Edith Mazerolle, age 86, of Richibucto, passed away peacefully at Stella Maris de Kent Hospital on August 21st, 2009. Born June 26th, 1923 in Pointe-Sapin, NB, she was the daughter of the late Sébastion and Lucie Daigle.
Edith will be sadly missed by beloved husband of 60 years, Francois (Frank); her four children, Serge (Diane) of Richibucto, Jean-Marc (Rose) of Saint Charles, Francois (Jackie) of Aldouane and Monette (Paul) of Upper Sackville, NS, her five Grandchildren, Paul, Tanya, Serge, Stéphane and Nicole and her five great grandchildren
, David, Brian, Emma, Abby and Isabella, her sisters, Délima and Elva and brothers, Edmond and Arsène. She was predeceased by her brothers, Elide and Armand, sister, Mélina and her beloved grand daughter, Rachel. Edith (Tante Edith to so many) loved life and loved people. She could always find the good and the positive no matter what the situation. She has touched so many people in her life. She was a deeply religious person, whose daily objective even during her last days, was to pray for other people. We will miss her very much.
