Eldon Daigle
1945-2009
ST. LOUIS DE KENT, NB - Eldon Daigle, 64, of St. Louis de Kent, passed away suddenly at his residence on Sunday, August 9th 2009. Born in Chatham, he was the son of the late Edmond and Flora (Hébert) Daigle. Eldon spent most of his life working as a woodsman.
Survived by two daughters; Mélanie Levesque (Yvon Daigle) of St-Louis, Sylvie Levesque of St-Louis, one son; Gabriel Levesque of St-Louis and their mother Diana Levesque of St-Louis, and one grand daughter; Cloé.
He also leaves behind three sisters; Geneva Daigle (Martin) of Miramichi, Linda Daigle (Jean) of St Charles, Stella Daigle (Late Normand) of St Charles, one brother; Ronald Daigle (Dora) of Laketon, three half brothers; Georges Daigle (Robéa) of Laketon, Merlin Holland of Toronto, ON, Vincent Holland of Miramichi, several nieces and nephews, and a special friend; Valdine Dionne.
Resting at Thompson Memorial Home, St. Louis de Kent with visitation on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9, Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9, Thursday at 9:00 AM until departure for funeral . A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 13th, 2009 at 11:00 AM at St. Louis des Français Roman Catholic Church, St. Louis de Kent. Cremation will follow. Donations to the Diabetes. John Daigle
1917-2009
REXTON, NB - Mr. John Daigle, husband of the late Catherine Daigle, of Foyer Yvonnise, St. Gabriel and formerly of Rexton, passed away at the Moncton City Hospital, August 9th, 2009 at the age of 91. He was the son of the late Luke and Lucy (Richard) Daigle.
He was a former member of the Rexton Golden Age Club and the Seafarers Union. Most of his working life was spent on the boats of the Great Lakes. In his retirement he enjoyed the outdoors and in particular fishing.
He is survived by his stepchildren; Paul Robichaud (Rose) of Rexton, Ronald “Tut” Robichaud (Eleanor) of Port Hawkesbury, NS, Claire Murphy (Raymond) of Rexton, Nadia Guimond (late Frank) of Richibucto, seven grand children; Lisa, Carole, Sandy, Nancy, Tobi, Daniel, Farrah, six great grand children; Dawson, MacKenzie, Matthew, Emma, Maggie, André, one sister; Florence Johnson (late Gérard) of St. Louis de Kent, several nieces and nephews.
Other than his wife Catherine, he was predeceased by his sisters; Mina Daigle, Margaret Daigle, Eva Girouard and Evelyn Elward.
Visitation at Thompson’s Funeral Home in Richibucto on Tuesday, August 11th, 2009 from 7-9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at the Immaculate Conception Church, Rexton on Wednesday, August 12th, 2009 at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation Palliative Care Unit or Rexton Area Health Care Foundation or donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.

ELSIPOGTOG, NB - Mary Shirley Sock, 62, of Elsipogtog passed away at the Dr. Georges-L Dumont Hospital, Moncton, on Monday, August 3rd, 2009. Born in Big Cove she was the daughter of the late David and Evelyn (Joseph) Sanipass.
Survived by her husband; Stanley, one son; Aaron, five daughters; Eileen (Floyd), Cindy (Gigi), Trudy (Jerry), Sarah, Krystal, nine grandchildren
, one great grandchild, seven sisters; Norma Milliea (Joe), Anna Levi (Terry), Martha Sanipass, Leanna Sanipass, Eva Sanipass, Rena Simon (Jeff), Nancy Sanipass, three brothers; George (Jennifer), Glen (Angel), John.
Predeceased by two grand daughters; Kaylee, Mila, two brothers; Malcolm and Hubert.
Resting at her home on Maple Street, Elsipogtog with visitation beginning on Tuesday at 2:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 6th, 2009 at 10:00 am, St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church, Elsipogtog. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. MONCTON, NB - Karl Stairs, 46, of Moncton passed away at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton on Wednesday, July 29th, 2009. Born in Woodstock he was the son of Cyril and the late Jacqueline Stairs.
Survived by his father Cyril Stairs, step-daughter; Alysha, step-son; Aaron, sister; Cheryl, and three brothers; Richard, Steven and Chris.
Predeceased by his mother; Jacqueline Stairs and his common law wife; Priscilla Barlow.

Marie (Boucher) Arsenault
1927-2009
ST. LOUIS DE KENT, NB - Marie Arsenault, 82, formerly of Grande Aldouane passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton on Tuesday, July 28th, 2009. Born in Richibouctou-Village on May 16th, 1927 she was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Délima (Zelma) (Allain) Boucher. Before retiring she had worked at the Coop in Richibucto. She attended St. Charles Borromée Roman Catholic Church, St. Charles. Marie loved spending time working on her quilting.
Left with fond memories are her two daughters; Claudette Simmons (Jim) of Leominister, MASS, Martha Robichaud (Alfred) of Grande Aldouane, three sons; Fernand Arsenault (Huguette) of Lunenburg, MASS, Donald Arsenault (Janice) of Dieppe, Jerry Arsenault (Cindy) of Camarillo, CA, twelve grand children; nineteen great grand children, three sisters; Valida Johnson of Richibucto, Généva Johnson of Richibucto, Cécile Alain (Jean-Paul) of Oxford, MASS, four brothers; Adelin Boucher (Florida) of Richibouctou Cape, Léon Boucher (Norma) of Fitchburg, MASS, Aquila Boucher (Dorice) of Westminister, MASS, Bernard Boucher (Fay) of Port Charlotte, Florida, sister-in-law Régina of Leominister, MASS, and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband; Gonzague Arsenault, second husband; Hervé LeBlanc, one son; Claude Arsenault, one sister; Alphonsine Boucher, and one brother; Henri Boucher.

Jean-Marie Hebert
1945-2009
ST. LOUIS DE KENT, NB – Jean-Marie Hebert, 64, of St. Louis de Kent passed away on Monday, August 24th, 2009 at the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital, Halifax, NS after a brief illness. Born in Fontaine, he was the son of the late Gustave and Thérèse (Hebert) Hebert. Jean-Marie had been employed at Kouchibouguac National Park for over 40 years. He was President of the Golden Age Club on rue Notre Dame and he was a member of the “Basement Boys” local band.
Jean-Marie will be sadly missed by his wife; Melida, six sisters; Magella Cormier (late Arsene), Thérèse Cormier (Germain), Bernadette Hebert (Louis-Emile), Catherine Daigle (Jacques), Anne-Marie Robichaud (late Léon), Armanda Daigle (Mark), one brother; George (Tom) Hebert (Denise), many nieces & nephews, aunts & uncles.
Predeceased by three sisters; Laurentine, (Adelard), Georgina, Marie and two brothers; Josephat and Moise.

ST. LOUIS DE KENT, NB – Alcide Fontaine, 72, of St. Louis de Kent passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton on Wednesday, August 26th, 2009. Born in Cap St. Louis he was the son of the late Jacques and Délima (Doucet) Fontaine.
Alcide will be sadly missed by his wife; Denise (Martin) Fontaine, one son; Daniel Fontaine (Tina MacDonald) of Richibouctou-Village, two grand children; Jacques, Jolène, three sisters; Alice Richard (Paul) of Aldouane, Jeanne Vautour (Raymond) of St. Louis de Kent, Délima Duplessis (Elias) of Bouctouche, two brothers; Arcade (late Venolia) of Aldouane, Conrade (late Germaine) of Richibucto, several nieces & nephews.
Predeceased by three sisters; Emma, Elvina, Domine, three infant sisters; Marie, Domine, Saraphie, four brothers; Henri, Hubert, Jacques, Euclide, two infant brothers; Conrade and Amédé.
