Bermand Arsenault

ST. CHARLES, NB – Bermand Arsenault, 69, of St. Charles, NB passed away at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste-Anne-de-Kent, on Sunday, July 19th, 2009. Born in St. Charles, he was the son of the late Richard and Emma (Richard) Arsenault. Bermand was a carpenter by trade and attended St. Charles Borromée Roman Catholic Church.
Bermand will be sadly missed by his loving wife; Bernadette, daughter; Nancy Blanchard (Elmo) of St. Charles, son; Kevin (Sheila) of St. Charles, 5 grand children; Denis, Mathieu, Mario, Miguel, Alex, 5 sisters; Andréa Daigle (Gonzague) of Richibucto, Donalda Vautour (Camille) of Irishtown, Emerise Vautour (Arcade) of Auburn, Massachusetts, Alice Vautour (Antoine) of Aldouane, Elmonde Kelly (Joe) of Campbellford, Ontario, 4 brothers; Alphée (Marguerite) of St. Charles, Dollard (Ethel) of St. Charles, Ronald of St. Charles, Alvin of Irishtown, several nieces and nephews and many friends. Bermand was predeceased by 3 sisters; Juliette, Cécile, May, 2 brothers; Léo, Eugère; one nephew; Steven, and one niece; Annette.
Resting at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9, Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9, and Thursday from 11 AM until departure for the funeral. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 23rd, 2009 at 1:00 PM at the St. Charles Borromée Roman Catholic Church, St. Charles. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Yvonne Richard
1923-2009
ST. LOUIS DE KENT – Yvonne Richard, 86, formerly of Richibucto passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 16th, 2009 at La Villa Maria, St. Louis de Kent. Born in St. Charles she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Suzanne (Richard) Richard.
Yvonne was a member of the Richibucto Golden Age Club. She was previously employed by the Province of New Brunswick, Department of Justice as Head Cook at the Richibucto Jail. She also worked at La Coquille Restaurant as a Cook. She managed her own boarding house and was active in volunteer work, church and her community.
Yvonne will be sadly missed by her husband; Irenée Richard, seven daughters; Rita Daigle (Gérard) of Bathurst, Délima Savoie (Yvon) of Dieppe, Jeannine Lester of Moncton, Claudia Fitzgerald (David) of Riverview, Claudette Fourgère (late Jean-Paul) of Grand-Digue, Denise Landry-LeBlanc (Denis) of Richibucto, Irène Doiron (Guillaume) of Aldouane, one son; Donald Landry (Léa) of Richibucto, nineteen grand children, fourteen great grand children, one sister; Patricia Melanson (Arsène) of Cocagne, three brothers; René Richard (Eliza) of Ontario, Gonzague Richard of St. Charles, Zoël Richard of Saint John, several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her first husband; Edgar Landry, two sons; Eloi Landry (Ida), Eddy Landry (common law wife Helen Claire), one great grandchild, two sisters; Eva Vautour (Albert) of Saint John, Délima Maillet (Camille) of Moncton and one brother; Bernard Richard of Moncton.
Resting at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9, Saturday at 9:00 am until departure for funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 18th, 2009 at 11:00 am at the St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Theodore “Ted” Robichaud
1925-2009
RICHIBUCTO, NB - Ted Robichaud, 83, of Richibucto passed away peacefully at the Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital, Moncton on Friday, July 10th, 2009. Born in Richibouctou-Village, he was the son of the late Joseph and Annie (Leger) Robichaud.
Ted worked for 42 years in the engine rooms of the lake boats, and you could usually find him on the Richibucto wharf, always ready to share a joke or two. He enjoyed playing pool, was a very friendly and outgoing person who was very well know. He was also a member of the Richibucto Golden Age Club.
Ted will be sadly missed by his wife; Claudette (Cormier) Robichaud, three sons; Paul (Elaine) of Hampton, Michael (Cathy) of Quispamsis, Robert (Jennifer) of Halifax, NS, 4 grand children; Amber, Mariah, Chelsie, Julie, four sisters; Alma Sawyer (late Dennis) of Rexton, Grace Herbert (late Joe) of Riverview, Geneva Herbert (late Jimmy) of Miramichi, Irene Boudreau of Shediac, three brothers; Roger of Richibucto, Rudy (Margaret) of Moncton, Ronnie (June) of Riverview, and several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 14th, 2009 at 1:30 PM at the St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto. Interment will be in the Aldouane Roman Catholic Cemetery. Marie Cormier-Babineau

MONTREAL, QC - Marie Cormier-Babineau, 93, of Montreal, QC passed away peacefully at Centre d’ hebergement Lejare, Montreal, QC on Friday, July 3rd, 2009. Born in St. Paul, NB she was the daughter of the late Luc and Elise (Johnson) Cormier.
Marie will be sadly missed by her daughter; Elise, two sisters; Viola LeBlanc, Sr. Ida Cormier, one brother; Roger Cormier (Germaine Gaudet), brother-in-law; Eloi Babineau (Marguerite Comeau).

1950-2009
CANISTO, NB - Yvon Doucet, 58, of Canisto passed away at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton on Monday, July 6th, 2009. Born in Claire-Fontaine, NB he was the son of the late Edmond and Elizabeth (LeBlanc) Doucet.
Yvon will be sadly missed by his three sisters; Marie Richard (Claude) of Gardiner, MASS, Justine Cormier (Camille) of Canisto, Barbara Arsenault (Jean-Maurice) of Haute-Aboujagane, two brothers; Adelard Doucet (Rosalie) of St. Louis de Kent, Roger Doucet of Edmonton, Alberta, and ten nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one sister Rose-Anna Doucet, and one brother; Zoel Doucet.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 8th, 2009 at 11am at the St. Louis des Francais Roman Catholic Church, St. Louis de Kent. Wayne Johnson
1951-2009
MAHONE BAY, NOVA SCOTIA - Wayne Johnson, 58, passed away suddenly on Monday, August 3rd, 2009. Wayne, beloved husband of Lee Hughes and loving father to Ryan and Lindsey Johnson will be deeply and forever missed.
Wayne was predeceased by his parents; Frank and Marie (Daigle) Johnson of Richibucto.
Originally from Montreal, Quebec, Wayne spent many happy summers as a child in New Brunswick and always thought of himself as a “Maritimer” at heart.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 22nd, 2009 at 2:00 pm at Thompson’s Funeral Home Chapel, Richibucto. Family will be receiving relatives and friends one hour prior to the Memorial Service. In lieu of flowers donations to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.

Dazé Reidpath
1916-2009
REXTON, NB - Isabella (Dazé) Reidpath, 93, of Rexton passed away peacefully at the Lion’s Nursing Home, Rexton on Monday, August 10th, 2009. Born in Edinburgh, Scotland she was the daughter of the late James and Isabella (MacPherson) Watson. Dazé was a member of the Church of Scotland, St. Andrew’s United Church, Rexton, U.C.W., and the Order of Eastern Star.
Dazé will be sadly missed by her daughter; Marjorie Hancock (Jim) of Pickering, ON.
She was predeceased by her husband; Joseph Douglas Bendall Reidpath and her son: Alexander Reidpath.
