Yvonne Richard, 91 of St. Louis de Kent passed away at La Villa Maria, St. Louis de Kent on Tuesday, October 7th, 2008. Yvonne was the daughter of the late Jean-Hypolite Chevarie and late Anne-Marie (Thebeau) Chevarie. Yvonne attended the St. Louis de Francais R.C. Church and was a member of the St. Louis de Kent Golden Age Club.
Survived by her 5 children; Marguerite Richard (Leonce Daigle), Lilliane (Antoine Boucher), Maria (Clorice Babineau), Jeannine (Paul Johnson) and Paul (Monique Maillet), her grand children; Gerald Richard (Charlotte Poirier), Claude Richard (Sheila Richard), Danielle Richard (Elwyn Loewen), Gilles Boucher (Carole Pelletier), Denis Boucher, Robert Babineau (Joan Grant), Richard Babineau (Lisa Hachey), Gabriel Johnson, Claudine Johnson (Guy Johnson), Christine (Joel Johnson), Kenneth Richard (Melanie Gallant), and Joanne Richard, her great grand children; Mathieu, Julien, Colin, Sonia, Justin-Luc, Tyler-Kevin, Owen, Carly-Grace, Stephanie, Melanie, Simon, Samuel, and one sister Albertine (late Trefflee Thebeau).
Predeceased by her husband Nazaire, baby son; Antoine, her siblings; Melina (late Etienne Thebeau), Rosanne (late Frederic Landry), Josephine (late Edmond Richard), Ursule (late Gonzague Richard), Nazaire (late Suzanne Gallant), baby Delima, Zelia (late Prudent Richard), Albenie (late Laura Thebeau), baby Ernest, Elizabeth (late Donat Robillard), Marie-Luce (late Lucien Hebert), Albert (Eva Richard), Alban (late Levina Vautour).
Resting at Thompson Memorial Home, St. Louis de Kent with visitation on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9, Thursday from 9:00 am until time of funeral. A funeral mass will be held at the St. Louis de Francais R.C. Church, St. Louis de Kent on Thursday, October 9th, 2008 at 11:00 am. Internment will be in the parish cemetery. Alexandre Guimond 77, of St. Louis de Kent passed away at La Villa Maria, St. Louis de Kent on Monday, October 13th, 2008. Born in St. Louis de Kent, Alexandre was the son of the late John & Lucie (Legere) Guimond. Survived by his daughter; Dianne Crossman (David) of Saint John, son; Vernon Guimond of Vancouver, special niece; Joanne Martin (Joseph) of St. Louis de Kent and their children; Veronique & Josée, and nephew; Joel Guimond, 3 grand children; Marc, Derek & Erin, 3 great grand children; Adyn, Hannah & Cameron, sister; Florence Guimond, and brother; Raymond Guimond and several nieces & nephews.
Predeceased by 3 sisters; Freda, Jeannette, & Rita, and 2 brothers; Edouard & Leopold (Pollo).
Resting at Thompson Memorial Home, St. Louis de Kent on Wednesday from 7-9 and Thursday at 9:00 am until departure for funeral. Elsipogtog, NB … John Peters, 44 of Elsipogtog, passed away at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital Saturday, October 18 after a brief illness. Born in Rexton, he was the son of the late Abraham Peters and Anna Bella (Augustine) Peters. John will be sadly missed by his mother, Anna Bella, three sisters, Brenda, Glenda, Genevieve and two brothers, Herb, Jerry. He was predeceased by three brothers, Baby Joseph, Roy and Reggie Sr.
Resting at his residence, 171 Main street, Elsipogtog. The funeral mass will be held at Ste. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church, Elsipogtog, Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at 11 am. Arrangements are in the care of Thompsons funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).

St. Louis de Kent, NB - Marie Mazerolle, 90 of St. Louis de Kent passed away at La Villa Maria, St. Louis de Kent, Sunday, October 19, 2008. Born in St. Louis de Kent, she was the daughter of the late Athanase and Emma (Guimond) LeBlanc. She attended St. Louis des François Roman Catholic Church and was a member of the Charismatic Renewal of Prayer, St. Louis de Kent. Marie will be sadly missed by her three daughters, Colombe, Megella (Fernand), Héléne (Florent), 2 sons Jean-Pierre, Father Savio, six grandchildren, Chantal, Marc (Janique), Alain (Jessica), Nadine (Jean-Marc), Matthieu (Judith), Marie-Héléne, four great grandchildren, Justin, Yannick, Léo and Annabelle. One sister, Yvette LeBlanc and one brother, Nérée LeBlanc. Marie was predeceased by her husband, Joseph A. Mazerolle, three sisters, Rita, Jeanne, Emma and one brother, Albért.

Ernest Boucher
1931-2008
Cap Lumiere, NB … Ernest Boucher 77 of Cap Lumiere passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital on Sunday, November 9th, 2008 after a short illness. Born in Richibouctou-Village, he was the son of the late Hector and Marie (Richard) Boucher. Ernest worked as a carpenter and fisherman, was a member of the St. Antoine de Padoue R.C. Church and loved hunting, fishing and working in the woods.
Survived by 5 sisters; Léona Richard (Delphin) of Moncton, Albertine Daigle (late Emery) of Moncton, Angela Doucet (Maurice) of Cap Lumiere, Yvonne Babineau (late Albert) of Cap Lumiere, Florence Grey (Leopold) of Richibouctou-Village, 3 brothers; Clarence (Dorine) of Cap Lumiere, Alcide (Rita) of Cap Lumiere, Roger of Saint John and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by 4 sisters; Bernice, Yolande, Bernadette, Dorina, and 4 brothers; Raymond, Emery, Aurele and Normand.
Resting at the St. Antoine de Padoue R. C. Church Slumber Room, Richibouctou-Village on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9, Tuesday from 2:00 PM until departure for funeral. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 11th, 2008 at 4:00 PM at the St. Antoine de Padoue R. C. Church, Richibouctou-Village, NB. Rose Elizabeth Patrick
1919-2008
Bass River, NB … Rose Elizabeth Patrick, 88 passed away at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste. Anne de Kent on Sunday, November 2nd, 2008. Born in Sackville, NB on November 27th, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Elizabeth Parker (Fearon).
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Rose was predeceased by her first husband Everett Turner and one brother Harry (Buddy) 1965.
Rose graduated from Rexton High School in 1937 and spent most of her life in Boston, MASS working as a Pharmacist Assistant. She returned to Canada in 1982 from Florida where she spent her retirement years at her residence in Bass River. She will be sadly missed by her dog Sammy and her many cousins and friends. Rose always had a soft spot for her feathered friends and spent many hours feeding and enjoying their company. As per Rose’s wishes there will be no visitation at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 5th, 2008 at 1:00 pm at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Brown’s Yard with internment in the church cemetery. Amelia (Maisie) O’Leary

Richibucto, NB … Amelia O’Leary, 87 of Richibucto, NB passed away at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, on Monday, October 27th, 2008. Born in Gooseberry Cove, Newfoundland she was the daughter of the late Peter Seaward and Marion (Combs) Seaward.
Survived by 2 sons; Ronald O’Leary of Richibucto and Sonny O’Leary (Nicole) of Stratford, Ontario, 4 grand children; Shawn (Holly), Debbie (Jason), Kenny (Ericka) and Shannon, 2 sisters; Neill (Jack) of Nova Scotia and Louise (Doug) of Montreal. Predeceased by 3 sisters; Marie, Gertrude and Addie, and 1 brother; Ronald.

Oscar Vautour, 68 of St. Louis de Kent passed away at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, NB on Wednesday, October 22nd, 2008. Born in Cap St. Louis, he was the son of the late Benoit and Elénore (Doucet) Vautor.
Oscar had been a fisherman for 44 years and was a member of the St. Louis de Kent Golden Age Club. He will be sadly missed by his wife Laurianne (Richard) Vautour, 2 daughters; Ginette Richard (Leon) of Cocagne and Branda Vautour (Eric) of Moncton, 5 sisters; Viola Vautour (late Jim), Ethel Maillet (late Armand), Marie Hebert (Zenon), Carmen Bell (late George), Stella Vautour (Roger) all of St. Louis de Kent, 4 brothers; Yvon of Richibucto, Elide, Clorice (Geraldine), & Claude (Dianne) all of St. Louis de Kent, 3 grandchildren; Melanie, Stephanie & Mylene. Predeceased by 1 sister; Dorice Vautour (David).

Marie, he was the son of the late Alyre and Annie (LeBlanc) Allain. Oscar will be sadly missed by his wife Oliva (Richard) Allain, 3 daughters; Albertine Ward (Paul) of Cape Cod, Denise Herbert (Charles) of Waltham, Mass., and Florence Allain (Desiré) of West Palm Beach, Florida, 2 sons; Michael (Rita Lee) of Hudson, New Hampshire, and Robert (Mireille) of Dieppe, and 9 grandchildren; Charles Jr., Violet, Jamie-Lee, Felicia, Mikayla, Nathalie, Emilie, Maxime, and Lucas. He is also survived by 3 sisters; Pauline Lacombe, Yvonnice Bourque and Geneva Arsenault, and 1 brother; Alcide. Oscar was predeceased by his first wife Odila (Doiron) Allain, 2 infant children; Valerie and Maurice and 2 brothers; Emile and Ulysse.
