Carolyn "Lyn" Elaine Nelson
1947-2013
Carolyn "Lyn" Elaine Nelson, 66, of Baltimore went to be with her Lord & Savior on July 4th, 2013 she passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital.
Lyn was born in Moncton on March 14th, 1947 the daughter of the late Elmo Nelson and Mary (Steeves) Nelson of Baltimore. She enjoyed making scrap books, reading and spending time with her family. Lynn loved the Baltimore area and scenery, just looking out the window at the birds, deer and other animals that came out made her smile. Lynn also had a very special place in her heart for her cats, she loved them all. She was a very beloved daughter, sister, niece and cousin who will be fondly remembered and will live on in the hearts of her family forever.
She will be deeply missed by her mother, Mary Nelson of Baltimore; brother, Lorne Nelson of Baltimore; aunt & uncle, Don and Thelma Steeves of Sackville; cousins, Gaye Kurtz (David) of Saskatchewan, Claire Fry of Ottawa; Yvonne Pasquel (Guy) of Quebec, Bill Nelson of Calgary, Kathy Nutford (John) of Baltimore and Michael Steeves (Bernadine) of Saint John. She will also be missed by all her extended family and friends.
She will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home on Friday evening from 7-9pm. The funeral will be held at the Albert County Funeral Home on Saturday, July 6th, 2013 at 2:00pm with Pastor David Ross officiating. Interment will be held in the Baltimore Cemetery, Baltimore, NB. In Lynn's memory donations to the BCM International Missions- Michael & Lorna Ralston whom Lynn has supported since they moved to Italy or to the charity of the donor's choice would be greatly appreciated.

Warren Ewart Smith
1926-2013
Warren Ewart Smith, 87, of Lakeview Manor, formerly of Curryville, passed away peacefully on August 30th, 2013 at Lakeview Manor. His family had the priviledge of being with him at this time.
Warren was born in Curryville on February 16th, 1926, son of the late Manley and Gertrude (Downey) Smith. Warren worked at T.Eaton & Co. Ltd. in his early years, later he became a heavy equipment operator, he worked in construction for many years building houses and in retirement became a full time blueberry farmer.
Warren had a "merry" heart amd he showed that through his love of singing. He was part of a men's quartet and also sang in the Curryville United Church Choir where he was a member. Warren loved to laugh and make others laugh as well; he had a great sense of humor. His chuckle will be remembered by all who knew him. He was the type of man who was always willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed it - his door was always open.
He will be be greatly missed by his wife, Elsie (Woodworth) Smith; daughters, Susan McLaughlin (Jim) of Curryville, Karen Smith (Duncan) of Lower Coverdale; sons, Orville Smith of Curyville, Gary Smith of Lower Coverdale and George Smith (Brenda) of Hillsborough. Also, by his treasured 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He will also be missed by his brother-in-law, Lester Woodworth and nephews.
Warren Warren Ewart Smith was predeceased by brothers, Robert and Edward Smith, sisters-in-law, Glendeen Smith and Shirley Woodworth, grandson, Travis Smith and nephew Wayne Smith.
He will be resting at Albert County Funeral Home. Visitation will be September 1st from 2:00-4:00PM and 7:00-9:00PM. The funeral service will be held at the Albert County Funeral Home on September 2, 2013 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Paul Steeves officiating and special remembrances by Chaplain Liz Wall of Lakeview Manor.
A very special thank you to the staff and residents at the Salvation Army Lakeview Manor for your love, kindness, and care over the past 2 years. These memories will be in our hearts forever.
Interment will be in the Curryville Cemetery, Curryville, NB. Following the service everyone is invited for refreshments and to continue celebrating Warren's life by sharing memories with one another.
Donations in Warren's memory, for those who wish to do so, can be made to the Curryville Cemetery or the Lung Association.

Malcolm Hiram (Mac) Daley
The passing of Malcolm Hiram Daley occurred at the Veteran's Health Unit, Fredericton, on Friday, April 11, 2003. Born in Clifton, NB on March 28, 1914, he was a son of the late Anslow and Laura (Campbell) Daley. Mac was a veteran of WWII having served overseas from 1941-1945. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion. He was retired from Sherwin-Williams where he worked as a Production Foreman.
He is survived by son Bliss and wife June of Orangeville, Ont; daughter Doreen Adams and husband Johnny of Bramalea, Ont. and son Douglas and wife Marsha of Maugerville, NB; grandchildren Phillip, Judith, Andrew, David, Karen, Thomas, Robert and Victoria and great grandchildren Brittaney, Mark, Glenn and Haleigh; a sister Lillian Miller of Salmon Beach, NB; nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents; wife Louise (Knowles) Daley; a son Richard; sisters Joy and Ellen and brothers, Carl, Doug and Neil.
Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton on Saturday evening from 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held from Gibson Memorial United Church on Sunday, April 13, 2003 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Boyd Vincent and Rev. Meredith Fraser officiating. Interment in Park Lawn Cemetery, Toronto, Ontario on Tuesday, April 15, 2003. The family suggests memorial contributions be sent to a charity of your choice.

Ruby Carter
KOUCHIBOUGUAC, NB - Ruby Carter, 83, wife of Ernest Carter, of Kouchibouguac, NB, passed away at the Lion's Nursing Home, Rexton, NB, on Friday, July 25, 2003.
Born in Norboro, PEI, she was the daughter of the late Frank Day and Dorothy (Heany) Day. She attended the Knox Presbyterian Church, Kouchibouguac.
She is survived by her husband, Ernest; three daughters, Isabel MacDonald (Syd) of Salisbury, Esther Melanson (late Henry) of Scoudouc, Shirley Jonah (Henry) of Moncton; three sons, Willard (Evelyn) of Moncton, Robert (Muriel) of Moncton, Floyd (Janice) of Kouchibouguac; one sister, Ethel Sinclair of Kensington, PEI; 16 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.
She is resting at Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Saturday from 7 to 9 pm and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at the Knox Presbyterian Church on Monday, July 28, 2003 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Sandy Sutherland officiating. Interment to take place in the Parish Cemetery.
If so desired donations to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital or donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements in the care of Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto (5234252).

Charlemain Vautour
ST. CHARLES, NB - Charlemain Vautour, 87, husband of Emelia (Richard) Vautour of St. Charles, NB passed away at Foyer St. Thomas, Memramcook, NB, Wednesday, July 23, 2003.
Born in St. Ignace, NB, son of the late Joseph Vautour and Léonie (Maillet) Vautour. Retired, he had been employed with Chrysler of Canada, Oshawa, ON as a Custodian.
He is survived by his wife, Emelia; daughter-in-law, Linda Upham, Lisbon, Maine; foster son, Yvon Gallant (Antoinette), Calgary, AB; three sisters, Nelda, Ernestine, Marguerite; two brothers, Josephat (Rosa), Tilmon (Kathleen) and several grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Bernard.
Resting at Thompson Memorial Home, St. Louis de Kent with visitation on Friday, 2-4 and 7-9 and Saturday 9:00 a.m. until departure for funeral. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Charles Borromée Roman Catholic Church, St. Charles on Saturday, July 26, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Parish Cemetery.

Michael Burner
Michael Burner of Smiths Corner, passed away peacefully at the age of 69 in Halifax, after a courageous battle with heart disease, with his wife Gertrude at his side.
Michael was born in Austria and immigrated to Canada with his wife and three children in 1978.
During those 24 years he lived in Ontario, Alberta, and New Brunswick. Michael's joys in life were farming, working the fields, his children and his friends.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Gertrude of 48 years; eight children (three in Canada, five in Austria); and 20 grandchildren.
A special thank you to the staff at the Moncton Hospital and Queen Elizabeth II Hospital in Halifax, your dedication and outstanding care is greatly appreciated.
A memorial service will be held at Thompson's Funeral Home in Richibucto on Thursday, July 31, 2003 at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers a donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
Family will receive friends and relatives 1 hour before the funeral. Arrangements are in the care of Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).

Marguerite Richard
ST. IGNACE, NB - Marguerite Richard, 86, of St. Ignace, NB passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday, August 2, 2003.
Born in St. Charles, NB on October 28, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Charlemain Daigle and Marie-Anne (Robichaud) Daigle. She was employed at Bergeron Co., Waltham, Mass. before her retirement, coming back to live in St. Ignace. She enjoyed gardening and quilting and was a member of the St. Ignace and St. Louis Golden Age Club. She was also a member of Monument à Rogersville.
She is survived by six daughters, Georgette Gallant (late Laurie), Oshawa, ON, Rosa Vautour (Josephat), St. Ignace, Madeleine Perry (David), Saint John, Thérèse Richard, St. Louis, Eva Daigle (Emile), St. Charles, Geneva Cormier (Raymond), Waltham, Mass.; two sons, Yvon, Toronto, ON, Tilmon (Sylvia), St. Charles; 15 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; one great great grandson, Benjamin; one brother, Adelbert Daigle (Eva), Richibucto. She was predeceased by her husband, Emile Richard; two granddaughters, Joanne Vautour, Jacqueline Daigle; two sisters, Anna, Anita and three brothers, Daniel, Alcide, Charles.
Resting at Thompson Memorial Home, St. Louis de Kent with visitation on Monday 2:00 p.m. until departure for funeral. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Ignace de Loyola Roman Catholic Church, St. Ignace on Monday, August 4, 2003 at 4:00 p.m. Interment in Parish Cemetery. Donations to the Alzheimer Society or the memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated. Arrangements in care of Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto.

Carol Hebert
1947-2008
Carol Hebert, age 60, wife of Lucien Hebert, passed away at the Georges-L. Dumont Hospital on Thursday, April 3, 2008 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Richibucto, she was the daughter of the late Dolore and Doreen (Sullivan) Guimond. Carol had been employed at the Morgan Rum Factory for over 22 years, and at the Rossy Department Store until her illness. Carol is survived by her husband, Lucien, and sister, Daphne Robichaud, Tracadie. She is predeceased by brother, Frank (Nadia).
Resting at Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252), with visitation on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm, and Monday from 2 pm until the time of the funeral. Funeral Mass will be at St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto on Monday, April 7, 2008 at 4 pm. Interment at Aldouane Cemetery at a later date. If so desired, donations to the family or Dr. Georges-L. Dumont foundation would be appreciated.

Louise Daigle
1917-2008
Pointe-Sapin, NB … Louise Daigle of Pointe-Sapin passed away Friday, April 4 at La Villa Maria, St. Louis de Kent at the age of 90.Born in Pointe-Sapin, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Daigle and Marie (Robichaud) Daigle. Louise is survived by two sisters, Ludivine Daigle (late Alphonse) of Pointe-Sapin and Sr Aline Daigle, n.d.s.c. of Dieppe, one brother, Anthoni Daigle (late Marie-Louise), several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Marie Durelle September 29, 2007 and Edwidge at the age of 15 months.
Resting at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Pointe-Sapin with visitation Sunday from 7 to 9 and Monday from 9 am until time of funeral. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Pointe-Sapin, Monday, April 7, 2008 at 11 am. Interment in the parish cemetery at a later date. If so desired donations to St. Joseph Parish or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements are in the care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto(523-4252).

Gabriel Daigle
1963-2008
Gabriel Daigle, 45, husband of Denise (Robichaud) Daigle, passed away at his home in, Kouchibouquac, Friday, April 18th, 2008, after a lengthy illness. Born in Claire Fontaine, NB to Achie Daigle and the late Sarah (Daigle) Daigle. Gabriel had worked as a fisherman. He is survived by his wife, Denise; father, Archie; three daughters, Christelle Daigle (André), Véronique Daigle, Alicia Daigle; three brothers, Roger Daigle (Mary Beth), Jean-Claude Daigle (Jeannita), Gilles Daigle (Lorraine); sister-in-law, Huguette Poirier (Raymond); brothers-in-law, Gilles Robichaud, Régean Robichaud (Gisèle), Norbert Robichaud (Janice); nieces and nephews, Joanne, Sarah-Jane, Jean-Gilles, Nicole, Renée, Christian, Chantal, Jolyane, Sara, Myriam.
Resting at Thompson Memorial Home, St. Louis de Kent with visitation on Saturday 7 to 9 pm, Sunday 2 to 4 pm and Monday at 9 am until time of funeral. Funeral Mass will be in the St. Louis dea Francais Roman Catholic Church, St. Louis de Kent on Monday April 21st, 2008 at 11 am. Interment will be held in Claire Fontaine at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Oncology Unit at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements in care of Thompsons Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252)
