Marion Adella Tingley
1925-2002
Marion Adella Tingley, 77, of Forest Dale Home, Riverside-Albert, passed away at her residence on December 31, 2002.
She was born on November 16, 1925 the daughter of the late Darcey and Harriett (Gough) Tingley. Marion loved to play bingo and bowling, she also enjoyed taking part in many other activities at Forest Dale Home.
She was a beloved sister and will be sadly missed by her four brothers, Arthur Tingley of Riverside-Albert, Melvin Tingley (Marion) of Edgett's Landing, Charles Tingley (Stella) of Riverside-Albert, and George Tingley (Elmonde) of Hillsborough. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents Marion was predeceased by a sister, Alice and two brothers, James and Willard.
The remains will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home with visitation Thursday evening from 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held at the Albert County Funeral Home, Hopewell Cape on Friday, January 3,2002 at 2pm with Rev. David Keith Officiating. Internment will be held in the Bay View Cemetery at a later date.
Donations to the Forest Dale Home or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
Arrangements are in the care of the Albert County Funeral Home, Hopewell cape, 734-2780

Clinton Joseph Weir
1928-2003
Clinton Joseph Weir, 74, of Riverside-Albert passed away on February 8, 2003 at the Moncton City Hospital after a brief illness.
He was born in Riverside-Albert on September 7, 1928 the son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (McAnulty) Weir. He worked with CNR until his retirement. Clinton was a very active member of the Fundy Curling Club being the president for several years. He was a member of the Maples Canteen Coffee Club, a member of the Shepody Fish & Game Association. He had been a volunteer Fireman with the Riverside-Albert Volunteer Fire Department, he has also served as a councilor for the Village of Riverside-Albert. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. Clinton was a special man known for his laid back attitude always with a smile and his favorite saying was "Oh that will be allright". He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He thought the world of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He will be deeply missed by his two daughters, Betty Elliott(Kevin) of Oshawa, Ontario, Beulah Tingley (Ivan) of Midway; two sons Leslie Weir (Donna) of Quispamsis, Richard "Dick" Weir (Doris) of Riverside-Albert; eight grandchildren Kimberley, Tracy, Beverley, Juli, Colin, Carla, Penny, Jennifer and nine great-grandchildren; five sisters, Dessie McAnulty of Ottawa, Eleanor Snelgrove (Chesley) of Germantown, Marie Rossiter (Gordon) of Moncton, Margaret Elliott (Dale) of Riverside-Albert, Donna Hayward (Allan) of Saint John; five brothers, Carney Weir of Moncton, Howard Weir (Joan) of Shepody, Karl Weir of Oshawa, Douglas Weir (Linda) of Oshawa, Darrell Weir (Kathy) of Riverside-Albert; brother-in-law Eldon Butland of Riverview; several nieces and nephews. Clinton will also be dearly missed by his special friend and companion Jean Justason of Riverside-Albert.
Besides his parents Clinton was predeceased by his wife, Mary (Lyman) Weir ;a brother Garry ; a sister Juanita ; grandson Scott.
The remains will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home with visitation on Tuesday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, February, 12, 2003 at 2pm with Rev. Val Chongva Officiating. Internment will be in the Fair Haven Memorial Gardens, Moncton.
Following the funeral service the family will be meeting with relatives and friends at the Fundy Curling Club, Riverside-Albert for further sharing of memories and refreshments.
Knowing how Clinton participated in and how he felt about the Curling Club donations in his memory to the Fundy Curling Club New Roof Fund or to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Lorna Emily Ashford
1912-2003
Lorna Emily Ashford, 90, of Shepody passed away at the Moncton City Hospital after a sudden illness.
She was born in Plaster Rock, NB on July 28, 1912 the daughter of the late Lloyd and Ella (Dwyer) Everett.
Lorna was a RNA and worked in Plaster Rock and Moncton, she attended the Lower Cape Baptist Church, she loved to square and round dance, and was a member of the Charlie's Angels Round Dancing Club, Lorna also was a member of the Hillsborough Senior Citizens. She loved her crafts, she was an avid painter and also took great enjoyment in entering her many crafts in the Albert County Exhibition, being the oldest exhibitor for the past few years. She was a beloved mother and grandmother.
She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Sandra LeBlanc (Ron) of Shepody; two sons, Dale Dickinson (Joan) of Rexton, John Dickinson (Beth) of Amherst Point, NS; 22 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by several nieces and nephews. Lorna was the last surviving member of her immediate family,besides her parents she was predeceased by her first husband Dorrance Dickinson; second husband William Ashford; two brothers, Harold, Lloyd George; three sisters Madeline, Lilly and Audrey.
The remains have been forwarded for cremation .
The family will be meeting with relatives and friends at the Albert County Funeral Home, Hopewell Cape, on Monday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A memorial service will be held at the Lower Cape Baptist Church on Tuesday, February 11,2003 at 2pm with Rev. Leonard Geldart Officiating.
Following the service the family will be meeting with relatives and friends in the church basement for further fellowship and refreshments.
Donations to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.

Olive Marie Kyle
1910-2003
Olive Marie Kyle, 93, of Kenneth Spencer Memorial Home, formerly of Riverview, passed away peacefully on April 2,2003 at the home.
Olive was born on February 19, 1910 in Lower Cape, NB, she was the daughter of the late Percival and Eleanor (Tingley) Nelson. Olive was a Registered Nurse and also worked at the Municipal and Tax Office. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church, Riverview and a Life Member of St. Paul's U. C. W. She was a Past Matron of Winston Churchill Chapter #19 Order of the Eastern Star and was a Life Member of the New Brunswick Hospital Auxiliaries Association as well as a member of The Moncton Hospital Alumni. Olive was a very special lady who had made many friends throughout her life but loved her family above all things. She was a very caring and kind lady who always had a smile for those she met.
Granny Kyle was an excellent storyteller and always found time to relate these tales to her grandchildren. Olive was a beloved mother, grandmother and sister. She will be deeply missed by her two sons, Dean (Audrey) Kyle of Victoria and Paul (Kathleen) Kyle of Edgett's Landing; daughter Eleanor (Sydney) Butland of Riverview; a sister, Eda Constantine of Fredericton Junction; a brother, Blair (Erna) Nelson of Hopewell Cape; eight grandchildren, Dan (Diane) Kyle, Mackenzie> (Laura) Kyle, Brent Kyle, Beth (Reynold) Kyle, Heather (Allan) McKinley, Susan (Jeff) Steeves, Vanessa (Peter)Kyle and Paul (Sarah) Butland; and nine great grandchildren, Jonathan, Matthew, Kyleen, Gabriel, Ian, Mady, Anthony, Aidan and Nicolas. Olive will also be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she is predeceased by two sisters, Elsie and Helen; four brothers, Guerney, Ronald, Ralph and Raymond.
The remains will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home with visitation on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held at The Albert County Funeral home on Saturday, April 5, 2003 at 2:30 pm with Rev. Steve Berube Officiating. The Internment will be held in the Mountain View Cemetery, Lower Cape, NB at a later date.
Following the service the family will be meeting with relatives and friends for further fellowship and refreshments at the funeral home.
Donations to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Maisie Leona Tingley
1917-2003
Maisie Leona Tingley ,85, of Cape Station passed away on April 15, 2003 at the Dr. George Dumont Hospital, Moncton.
Maisie was born in Cape Station on May 5, 1917,she was the daughter of the late William Howe and Francis (Prosser) Reid. She was a dedicated wife and mother who took great pride in raising her family. She was a very active member of the Lower Cape Baptist Church. She was a lifetime member of the Women's Missionary Society and also a lifetime member of the Lower Cape Women's Institute. Maisie always took part in all community events. She was known for her story telling and often took part in many skits, which were always good for a laugh. She was a beloved mother and grandmother who loved her family very much.
She will be deeply missed by her four daughters, Pauline Lusby (David) of Amherst, Kathy Underhill (Robert) of Riverview, Cheryl Nelson (Keith) of Hillsborough, Sandra Tingley of Sussex ; three sons, Darrell Tingley of Elgin, Melvin Tingley (Muriel) of Hillsborough, Burton Tingley of Cape Station; her 14 grandchildren and her 11 great grandchildren; two sisters Mary Lou Steeves of Lower Cape, Golda Vincent (Austin) of Calhouns. Maisie will also be sadly missed by her step mother Elizabeth (Betty) Williams (John) of Cape Station and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Everett O. Tingley in 1992; a son Winston; great grandson Jared.
The remains will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home with visitation on Thursday, April 17th from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held at the Lower Cape Baptist Church on Friday, April 18, 2003 at 3 pm with Pastor Leonard Geldart Officiating. Internment will be held in the Mountain View Cemetery, Lower Cape at a later date.
Donations to the Lower Cape Baptist Church or to the memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.

Donald Barton Woodard
1928-2003
Donald Barton Woodard, 75, of Stoney Creek passed away peacefully on April 11, 2003 at the Moncton City Hospital.
He was born in Moncton on January 10, 1928, the son of the late John and Jenny Woodard. He was a mechanic and truck driver. He also owned and operated D & B Salvage business from his home and was known throughout the county. Above all things Don was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. He loved his family very much and was very proud of them all. He also had a great sense of humour and enjoyed many good laughs with his family and many friends.
He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Lois (Smith) Woodard ; his four daughters Shirley Priest (David) of Albert Mines, Donna Trites (David) of Saint John, Mary Reynolds of Hillsborough, and Linda Hebert (Darrel) of Moncton; one son Barton Woodard (Ulla) of Ontario; his beloved twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren; three sisters Joan Hessom of Ontario, Elva Chase of Moncton and Agnes Woodard of Montreal; two brothers Ralph Woodard of Quebec and Henry Woodard of PEI. He will also be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by five brothers, Herbert, Robert, Edward, Rayworth and Sydney.
The remains will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home with visitation on April 14th from 12pm until the time of the funeral service at 2pm. The funeral will be held from the Albert County Funeral Home on Monday, April 14, 2003 at 2pm with Pastor Leonard Geldart Officiating. Internment will be in the Stoney Creek Cemetery, Stoney Creek at a later date.
Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.

Elinor Amilda Snelgrove
Elinor Amilda Snelgrove, 75, of Germantown passed away suddenly on June 24,2003 at the Moncton City Hospital.
She was born in Albert , Albert Co., NB on July 21, 1927 the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (McAnulty) Weir. She attended the Albert Baptist Church and belonged to the Friendship Senior Citizens Group. Elinor was a very special lady who loved the outdoors and often enjoyed fishing and gardening. Most of all she treasured time spent with her family and friends. Being the second oldest of fourteen children she had a special bond with her brothers and sisters. She was a very kind and caring person and always had a smile for everyone she met she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She was a very devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed by her loving husband of 55 years Chesley Snelgrove; daughter Beverly Ann Hibnar of St. Joseph, Michigan; son Jeffrey Snelgrove (Karen) of Tantallon, NS; three grandchildren Michelle Hines, Vanessa Snelgrove and Brian Snelgrove all of Nova Scotia and her four great grandchildren; she will also be deeply missed by her four sisters, Dessie McAnulty of Ottawa, Marie Rossiter (Gordon) of Moncton, Margaret Elliott (Dale) of Riverside-Albert and Donna Hayward (Allan) of Saint John; five brothers, Carney Weir of Moncton, Howard Weir (Joan) of Shepody, Karl Weir of Oshawa, Douglas Weir (Linda) of Oshawa and Darrell Weir (Kathy) of Riverside-Albert; brother-in-law Eldon Butland of Riverview and sister-in-law Carol Shannon of Beaverbrook; also by several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by a daughter Mary Anne; two brothers, Garry Weir and Clinton Weir ( Mary) and by a sister Juanita Butland.
The remains will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home on Friday evening from 7-9 pm . The funeral service will be held the Albert Baptist Church, Albert on Saturday, June 28, 2003 at 2pm with Rev. David Keith officiating. Internment will be held at the Hopewell Cemetery at a later date.
Donations to the charity of the donor's choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
