Oram Joseph Teahan
1924-2001
Oram Joseph Teahan, 76, formerly of Beaverbrook, Albert County, NB, passed away at the Moncton City Hospital, on April 15, 2001.
He was born on July 11, 1924 in Gowland Mountain, Albert County, NB. He was the son of the late Ronald and Kathleen (Kent) Teahan. He was a member of the Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Riverside-Albert.
He was a beloved brother and will be sadly missed by, his 5 sisters, Marion Savard of Sudbury, Ontario, Ardith Fenton of Moncton, Helena Teahan of Moncton, Dora Ryan of Ottawa, Ontario , Loretta Legere of Moncton; 1 brother, Gerald Teahan (Shirley) of Hopewell Cape; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation at the families request. The Funeral Service will be held at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Riverside-Albert, on Monday, April 16, 2001 at 10:30am, with Father Jean Guy Gallant Officiating. Internment will be in the Holy Ghost Catholic Cemetery, Hopewell Hill, later on in the spring.

Robert James Walker
1939-2001
Robert James Walker, 62, of Alma, NB, passed away on Monday, April 9, 2001 due to a motor vehicle accident.
He was born on February 18, 1939, in Alberta. He was a member of the Alma Baptist Church in Alma. Rob was the Park Naturalist-Chief Park Naturalist in Riding Mountain, Manitoba, also the Chief Park Naturalist in Gros Morne, Nfld., the Non-Personal Media Coordinator at Fundy National Park until he retired in 1995. He worked in the summer time giving tours for the Fundy Hiking and Nature Tours. He also provided guiding and Interpretive services on nature tours for the Department of Tourism -Promotional Tours, he was a member of the NB Federation of Naturalists, Moncton Naturalists Club, Fundy Guild, and also the Fundy Beautification & Historical Society. Rob was a very well known naturalists and was highly respected throughout his field all over the province and the country.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Walker of Edmonton, Alberta, he was a beloved husband and will be deeply missed by his loving wife Gail (Dixon) Walker of Alma; 2 Sisters, Patricia Cust (Ambrose) of Edmonton, Alberta, Gladys Mortenson (Lyle) of Dawson Creek, BC; 1brother, John Walker (Rose) of Edmonton, Alberta; sister-in-law, Janice Huckins (Scott MacFarlane) of Hillsborough; brother-in-law, Dennis Dixon (Linda Steeves) of Hillsborough; also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his father Ralph Walker and by an infant sister, Edith Emily Walker.
The remains will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home with visitation on Wednesday 2-4pm and 7-9pm, Then the remains will be moved to the Alma Baptist Church on Thursday with visitation in Alma 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The Funeral Service will be held at the Alma Baptist Church on Friday, April 13, 2001 at 2:00pm with Rev. Richard Rancourt officiating. Internment will be held in the Alma United Cemetery
at a later date.
Following the service the family will be meeting relatives and friends for further fellowship and refreshments at the Alma Activity Center.
Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, the NB Federation of Naturalists or the donor's choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Ruby Edith Woodard
1927-2001
Hillsborough, NB - Ruby Edith Woodard ,74, passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2001, at the Moncton City Hospital, Moncton, NB.
Born on March 23, 1927 in Turtle Creek, she was the daughter of the late Percy and Mary (Power) Wilson. Besides being a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Ruby was the rural route mail driver in the Hillsborough area until her retirement. She was a member of the Hillsborough United Church.
She was a beloved mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by four sons; Gary (Sharon) of Hillsborough, Dennis ( Barbara) of Squamish, BC, Terry ( Sharon) of Hillsborough, Sheldon (Betty) of Riverview; three daughters, Diane (Robert) Steeves of Hillsborough, Darlene (Steven) Jonah of Saint John, Tammy (Michael) Fines of Mt.Uniacke, NS; four brothers, Cecil (Lillian) of Oshawa, Everett(Anna) of Fredericton, Vincent (Audrey) of Hillsborough, Raymond (Mary Lee) of Hillsborough; 14 grandchildren ; 5 greatgrandchildren. Besides her parents Ruby was predeceased by her beloved husband Rayworth (Ray) Woodard who passed away in August 2000; an infant son , Reginald; 3 brothers, Leonard, Rollie, Claude; 4 sisters, Laura, Violet, Lena, Mildred.
At Ruby's own request there will be private family visitation .The funeral service will be held at the Albert County Funeral Home on Saturday, April 7, 2001 at 2:00pm with Rev. Doug MacEachern officiating. Internment will be held in the Gray's Island Cemetery, Hillsborough, at a later date.
Following the service the family wish to invite relatives and friends to join them for further fellowship and refreshments at the funeral home.
Donations to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital ,Palliative Care Unit or charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.

Tilly Louise Copp
1953 - 2001
Tilly Louise Copp passed away on July 12, 2001 at the Moncton City Hospital after a very sudden illness.
She was born on April 18, 1953 in Riverside, NB. She was the daughter of the late Thomas Copp and Zeta (Rossiter) Copp. She worked at Forest Dale Nursing Home for many years, she attended the New Horton Baptist Church , she was a member of the 3033 New Horton TOPS Girls, and she was a very active member of the Fundy Curling Club. Tilly was a person who was always willing to help others and be there when ever she was needed. When she was involved in something she always gave it her all. It is hard to put into words how special she was. She was a good friend to many people and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She was a beloved daughter, sister and aunt who will be deeply missed by: her mother Zeta Copp of New Horton;4 brothers, Clayton Rossiter (Joan) of Hampton, Trueman Copp (Marilyn) of Riverview, Lester Copp (Elsie) of New Horton, Ralph Copp of New Horton; also nieces and nephews, John (Phyllis), Kristel-Lee, Trevor (Lori), Graham (Stephanie) , Amanda and Travis, all of whom were very special to Tilly. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins, and many close friends.
The remains will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home on Saturday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The service will be held at the Albert County Funeral Home on July 15th, 2001 at 2:00pm . Internment will be held in the Bay View Cemetery, Harvey, NB.

Vernon Dixson Hudson
Surrounded by his love of music and in the arms of his family, Vernon passed away peacefully in the early hours of December 20th at the Albert County Hospital, in Riverside-Albert, New Brunswick. He was 76.
Alive in our hearts, he is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Joyce Miriam Hudson and his seven children: Edward Arthur (Donna Steeves) of Hopewell Hill,Donna Jean (Leslie Weir) of Quispamsis, Kathy Ann (Darrell Weir) of Hopewell Hill, Robert Vernon (Molly Flemming) of Hillsborough, Danny Keith (Phyllis Beck), Wendy Susan Joyce (Marc Gauthier), Douglas Gordon Lorne (Mary-Anne Boudreau) all of Hopewell Hill; 17 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; his two sisters, Alice Milburn of Hillsborough, Dawn (Ross Jarvis) of Riverview and his one brother, Carman (Pam Mollins) of Kingston , Jamaica. He was the step son of the late Viola Hudson (Spence) and is survived by two step-sisters, Dorothy Hewitt (Spence) of Lexington, Mass. and Barbara Townsend (Spence) of Fredericton, NB.
Born in Mountville, NB, Vernon was the son of the late Arthur and Julia (Dixson) Hudson. He was an active member of the Hillsborough Silver Chords Choir, the Albert Baptist Church and an Honorary member of the Albert Agricultural Society, and a member of the Winston Churchill Chapter # 19 O.E.S. He is a retired woods foreman from T.P. Downey Lumber and is the founder of Broadleaf Stock Farm and Guest Ranch.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the doctors and nurses of the Moncton City Hospital for their ongoing support over the recent months, and a very special thank-you to the doctors and nurses of the Albert County Hospital for their kind and gracious support during this difficult past week.

Visitation will be held Friday, Dec 21st from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the Albert County Funeral Home in Hopewell Cape.
A Celebration Service will be held at the First Hillsborough United Baptist Church, 2807 Main Street, Hillsborough, Saturday December 22 at 1:00pm
Arnold Alexander Jonah
1923-2001
Arnold Alexander Jonah , 78, of Kenneth Spencer Memorial Home and formerly of Hillsborough passed away on December 12,2001 at his residence.
He was born on April 24, 1923 in Hillsborough, NB, the son of the late Frank and Alice (Osborne) Jonah.
He was employed by the Canadian Gypsum Company for most of his working years. He was a member of the First Hillsborough United Baptist Church, Hillsborough . Arnold was also an avid lover of music.
He was a beloved Brother and Uncle who will be deeply missed by; his sister, Marie Henwood (Ottis) of Riverview; sister-in-law, Phyllis Jonah of Hillbsorough; 1 niece, Rhona Hendy (Ralph) of Caledonia Mtn; 3 nephews, Elwyn Henwood(Sharon) of Moncton, Jeff Jonah (Joanne) of Hillsborough, and Grenville Jonah (Kim) of Hillsborough; also Arnold is survived by several great nieces and great nephews. Besides his parents Arnold is predeceased by a brother Ronald and a sister Hester.
The remains will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home. There will be no visitation at Arnold's own request . The funeral service will be held at the Albert County Funeral Home on Friday, Dec.14, 2001 at 2pm with Rev. Dean MacDonald officiating. Tracy Lynn Dowe
1969-2002
Tracy Lynn Dowe, 32, of Saint John and formerly of Riverside-Albert passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on March 28, 2002 at the Saint John Regional Hospital with her family by her side.
She was born in Moncton on September 17, 1969. She was the daughter of the late Ralph Dowe and Anne (MacKenna) Dowe. Tracy graduated from Caledonia High School in 1987 then she attended the Atlantic Business College and received her degree in 1989. She worked for the Blue Cross in Moncton then got transferred to the Saint John Branch of the Blue Cross where she worked for a few years. She later got a job with the City of Saint John at the Public Safety Communications Centre last working as a 911 dispatcher. She was a member of the Riverside Golf and Country Club where she was an avid golfer and curler. Tracy was a very special person who had many good friends and will be remembered dearly by all who knew her.
She was a loving daughter, sister and aunt who will be deeply missed by her mother, Anne Dowe of Riverside-Albert; sister, Christa Geldart (Darrell) of Turtle Creek; brother, Dale Dowe of Riverside-Albert; 3 nieces, Amy, Emily and Katie. She will also be sadly missed by several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her father, Ralph in July of 1989.
A celebration of Tracy's Life will be held at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo Street, Saint John on Saturday, March 30th from 2-4pm for all those wishing to pay their respects.
The remains will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home, Hopewell Cape with the Visitation on March 31, 2002 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The funeral Mass will be held at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church on April 1, 2002 at 2pm with Father Jean Coutoure officiating. Internment will be held in the Fair Haven Memorial Gardens, Moncton.
Following the service the family will be meeting with relatives and friends at the Recreation Center in Riverside-Albert for further sharing of memories and refreshments.
In lieu of flowers the family request that you donate a pint of blood ,do a good deed in Tracy's memory or give a donation to the charity of your choice.
