HAROLD M. FERRARA
(November 18, 1923 - December 22, 2012)
Harold M. Ferrara, 89, of Oak Ridge, passed away at his home on Saturday, December 22, 2012 with his family by his side.
He was born in Brooklyn, NY to Susan (nee Lanzilloti) and Michael Ferrara.
Mr. Ferrara proudly served in the US Air Force as a flight maintenance gunner and would later become an airline flight engineer for FedEx Corp.
He married Lina (nee Holemans) in1958 and together they raised their three daughters Michele, Daniele, and Noelle in Oak Ridge, NJ.
Mr. Ferrara was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle RC Church in Oak Ridge and will best be remembered for his love of flying his airplane.
Mr. Ferrara was predeceased by his siblings Mary Spring, and Michael and Nick Ferrara.
He is survived by his wife Lina, his three daughters Michele Ferrara, Daniele Jarman, and Noelle Novack, his grandchildren Kaitlyn and Jackie Seikunas, Samantha and Amanda Novack, and Chloe Jarman, as well as several nieces and nephews.
The funeral mass will take place on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at 9:30 am at St. Thomas the Apostle RC Church, 5635 Berkshire Valley Road, Oak Ridge, NJ 07438 and the interment following at St. Thomas Cemetery
adjacent to the church.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Stickle-Soltesz Funeral Home, Newfoundland, NJ 07435.
CARLA NERVETTI
(June 24, 1926 - September 9, 2012)
Carla Nervetti, 86, of Oak Ridge, passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2012.
She was born in Milan, Italy to Adelina (nee Balzarini) Ricci and Luigi Ricci. Her family moved to the US when she was six years old and was raised in NYC.
Mrs. Nervetti lived most of her life in West Milford, NJ with her husband and two daughters.
She was a proud parishioner of St. Joseph RC Church in West Milford.
Mrs. Nervetti is survived by her beloved husband John Nervetti, her loving daughters Elisa Dominski and her husband Peter of Sparta, and Barbara Florence and her husband John of Greenwood Lake, NY.
Mrs. Nervetti also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren Tara Strongosky, Josiah Dominski, Jared Strongosky, and John Dominski.
The family will receive visitors on Thursday, September 13, 2012 from 9:30am to 10:30am , with a funeral service at 10:30am at the Stickle-Soltesz Funeral Home, 187 LaRue Road, Newfoundland, NJ 07435.
The entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ.
ANNE M. RIVANO
January 30, 1925 - September 4, 2012
Anne Rasmussen Rivano, 87, of Jefferson Township, passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, September 4, 2012.
She was born on January 30, 1925 in the Bronx, NY. Her family moved to Sunset Park, Brooklyn in 1935. She spent her summers as a child at Flatland Bay, NY with family and friends sailing the waters on their boat, the “Annie J.”
She graduated from Girls Commercial High School, Brooklyn, NY in 1943. That same year in September she married Nicholas. They were married for 62 years before he passed away in 2005.
Annie was a past member of the Longhito / Spinelli VFW Post, Ladies Auxiliary. She moved to Jefferson Township , Oak Ridge, in 1967. During her senior years she was involved and volunteered her services to the Milton Senior Citizens and the Golden Age Club. She organized their monthly Arts and Crafts classes. She also wrote the column, for the AIM Action Ad, covering the local senior news, under the name of the “Silver Fox”.
She dedicated over fifty years to the Greater Girl Scouts of America, and was honored by the Morris County Chapter, as one of the oldest Girl Scouts in the County, which she took much pride in receiving.
She was a loving mother to James Rivano and his wife Judith, of Oak Ridge, Anne Pfeil and her husband Edward of Leesburg, FL, and Regina Rivano of Oak Ridge.
She leaves behind six grandsons: Damian and Devon, Scott and Eddie, and Nicholas and Anthony. She was soon to be a great grandmother as well.
Her love will forever live on in our hearts.
There will be a memorial service for Anne on Sunday, September 16, 2012 at 1pm at the Milton United Methodist Church, Milton, NJ.

BERNARD JOSEPH LOIBL
January 27, 1948 - September 7, 2012
Sherry Stafford-Loibl is sad to report the death of her husband Bernard Joseph Loibl, who passed away at his home on Friday, September 7, 2012, with his family by his side.
He was 64 years old and was the founder of family naturist companies, Events Unlimited and Internaturally.
He was born in Malsch, Germany to Gertrud (nee Beckert) and Maximilian Johann Loibl. His family moved to the US when he was 14 years old and he proudly served in the US Army as a Ranger during the Vietnam Conflict.
Mr. Loibl will best be remembered for his love of naturism,travel and photography , as well as for the support of animals, through the ASPCA.
Mr. Loibl is survived by his loving wife Sherry Stafford-Loibl, his dear son Peter Loibl and his wife Gail of Brooklyn, NY, his dear step-son James Judge of PA, and his dear step-daughter Elizabeth Judge of Newfoundland; his sister Monika Alfano of Brick, NJ, his niece Cory Alfano of NJ,and his nephews Sam Peter Alfano II of NJ, and Christopher Palumbo of Florida.
Mr. Loibl was anxiously awaiting the arrival of his first grandchild in just a few months.
A memorial service will take place to celebrate his life on Sunday, September 16, 2012 at 10am at the Stickle-Soltesz Funeral Home, 187 LaRue Road, Newfoundland, NJ 07435.

STEPHEN B. MULLER
(January 22, 1935 - August 30, 2012)
Stephen B. Muller,77, of Oak Ridge, Passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2012.
He was born in Jersey City, NJ to Theresa (nee Summers) and Stephen Muller.
Mr. Muller owned his own trucking company.
He will best be remembered for the love of his family.
Mr. Muller was predeceased by his loving daughter Dolores.
Mr. Muller is survived by his wife Marjorie, and his dear children Donna, Thomas, Susan, Stephen, and Stephanie.
He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren Christina, Joseph, Thomas, Matthew, Melissa, Shannon, and Liam, as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive visitors on Friday, August 31, 2012 from 5pm to 9pm at the Stickle-Soltesz Funeral Home, 187 LaRue Road, Newfoundland, NJ 07435.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 9am at St. Thomas the Apostle RC Church, 5635 Berkshire Valley Road, Oak Ridge, NJ 07438.
The interment will immediately follow at Madonna Cemetery, Fort Lee, NJ.
RICHARD R. ROME
October 20, 1926 - August 19, 2012
Richard R. Rome, 85, passed away on Sunday, August 19, 2012 at Milford Manor Nursing Home, West Milford, NJ.
He was born on Oct. 20,1926 in Milton, NJ to Jenny (nee Paulison) Rome and Alfred Rome and was raised in Jefferson Township.
Mr. Rome proudly served in the US Army during WWII. He was a chartered member of the American Legion Post 423 as well as a Life Member of the V.F.W. Post 564 in Jefferson Twp.
Mr. Rome married Emma Marie (nee Beardslee) in 1947 and together they raised their children Hazel and Richard.
Mr. Rome is survived by his wife Emma, his son Richard Rome and his wife Su Ann of Jefferson Twp., his daughter Hazel VanZandt and her husband Wayne of High Point, NC.; his five grandchildren Jeremiah and Jonathan Rome, both of Jefferson Twp., Mindy Frank of Port Jervis, NY, Angela Thomas and her husband Scott of Punta Gorda, FL., and David VanZandt and his wife Filiz of Greensboro, NC.; three great grandchildren Aryanna and Javin Frank, and Emma VanZandt; his step-grandchildren Sunshine and Alicia Kolb, and a step-great grandson Michael Kolb.
The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the Stickle-Soltesz Funeral Home, 187 LaRue Road, Newfoundland, NJ 07435. (For GPS- 1 Post Place)
A funeral service will take place on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at 11am at the funeral home, with the interment immediately following at Milton, Cemetery, Milton, NJ (Jefferson Twp.)
