(G.M. Retiree 30 years) Passed away peacefully where he wanted to be, at home, in his 83rd year. Predeceased by wife Joyce (December 2, 2000). Beloved and cherished father of son Ron (wife Judy) of Raglan, daughter Janice Samoyloff (husband Dan) of Oshawa. Adored and dearly loved "Grampa" to Jeremy and Amy Davidson, and Michael Samoyloff. Brother of Jean Haines and Marion Lee. Predeceased by sister Florence, infant son Roger and parents Russell and Lillian Davidson of Raglan. Lloyd was a veteran of WW11 and served in Europe with The Governor General's Horse Guards. Family and friends will be received at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King St. East Oshawa Ont., Thursday Dec. 1st, 7-9 p.m., Friday Dec. 2nd, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday Dec. 3rd at 1:00 p.m. followed by interment at Pine Grove Cemetery, Prince Albert. Suddenly passed away at Uxbridge Cottage Hospital on Tuesday, November 29, 2005. In her 90th year. Ethel, beloved wife of the late Rev. Leonard E.F. Ewing. Loving mother of Bonnie and Jim Powell of Niagara Falls, Paul and Judy Ewing of Oshawa, and Holly and Randy Murphy of Uxbridge. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Kelly and Kristin Murphy, Michael and Kathy Powell, Mark and Sarah Powell, Heather and Joe Zubkavich. Great grandmother of Amelia, Alex, Max, Owen, Olivia, Jennifer, Angela and Alyssa. A Funeral Service will be held at the St. Alban Church (19 St. Alban's Drive, Acton) on Saturday, December 3, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. with visitation one-hour prior. Burial to follow in Acton. Survived by her brothers Edgar and his wife Anne Emerson of Nestleton, Frank Emerson and his wife Edith of Peterborough, and sisters Gladys Stutt of Bowmanville and Irene Witherley of Oshawa. Predeceased by Ralph and Donald. Resting at MEMORIAL CHAPEL BROOKLIN, 79 Baldwin Street, Brooklin Village, Whitby from 2-4 and 7-9p.m. Friday. Dear mother of Joanne Peckford and her husband Steward, Sharon McGraw and her husband Yves, Debbie Bovaird, Rick Dempsey Vicky Dempsey and the late Janet Dempsey and the late Glen Dempsey. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Jordon, Devin, Harley, Matthew, Shannon, Danielle, Kyle, Evan, Chelsie, Travis, Kale, Vicky, Kimberley, and by her extended family Mary-Ellen Reed. Donna leaves behind her son Jamie Day and his daughter Alex and wife Lisa of Pefferlaw; and her son Jeff Day of Pickering. Predeceased by her husband Jim Day. She also leaves behind her brothers Paul and his wife Jackie of Milton; and Peter and his wife Cathy of Bowmanville; as well as many other family members and friends.

It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of Helen, wife and mother at her residence in Oshawa on Saturday, November 26th, 2005 in her 73rd year. Helen was the eldest daughter of the late Franklin and Hazel Armstrong. Helen is survived by her loving husband of 53 years Dennis, and her daughter Pamela and husband Jeff Prickett, son Paul and his fiancée Stephanie Johnston. Also survived by her brother Arnott and his wife Myrna Armstrong, sister Isabel and husband Ross Matthews, Joyce and husband Lyle Smith, Donna and husband Wim de Munnik, and predeceased by her sister Marjory Armstrong. Also survived by brother-in-law Ronald and wife Betty Martin, and sister-in-law Barbara and her late husband Frank Martin. Helen will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews.
