Grandson of Lot and Leah and Selby and Marion. Great-grandson of Stella and Winnifred. He will be missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins and relatives. Fondly remembered by his many friends. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Eileen Cole at the Palliative Care Unit, Lakeridge Health-Whitby on Saturday, August 13th, 2005 at the age of 77. A lifelong resident of Oshawa, she was the beloved daughter of the late Arthur and Katherine Cole and was predeceased by her sisters Doris and Edna and her brothers Ray and Bert. Eileen will be lovingly remembered by her sister Hilda (and brother-in-law Harold) Woolley, her many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. A member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, Eileen worked for Bell Canada for 38 ½ years before retiring in 1983. Her health had deteriorated in the past 3 years and after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, she is now at peace. We would like to thank the staff of Cedarcroft Retirement Home (Oshawa), the 8th floor, Lakeridge Health-Oshawa and the 4th floor, Lakeridge Health-Whitby for their kind and loving care during Eileen’s stay with each of them.
